Piracy of films is growing a lot day-by-day. It badly affects the performance of the film at the box-office as it doesn't make a collection as expected. Not just the money, the hard work of the actors, director, and the crew of films go in vain when a film, despite being good doesn't fare well and falls into the trap of piracy.
Well, almost all Bollywood movies are pirated. As reported by a leading tabloid, a list released by a German-based firm, Shah Rukh Khan starrerRaees was the most pirated films of 2017. The number of files shared of this SRK starrer is 6,187,369. It is followed by Kaabil and then Jolly LLB 2.

Raees' director Rahul Dholakia took to Twitter to express his views on his film being most pirated ones in 2017.

Sanjay Gupta, director of Kaabil told the tabloid, "Rampant piracy doesn't exist in the South since they have taken a united stand against the problem. Bollywood is far from united."
He further spoke about how Rakesh Roshan had to handle to take steps to avoid illegal sharing of film. Gupta added, "He endured torture and agony. With help from private companies hired to monitor piracy, Rakeshji had taken over 3,400 websites where the film was illegally available within the first three days of its release."
Subhash Kapoor's Jolly LLB is in the third position to get pirated. He said, "Whether it is the government or the producers' bodies that need to act, they're not doing enough. We need comprehensive policy introduced by the government. They don't understand the seriousness of the situation, and how it's harming the industry."
