She unlocked her phone only to be flooded with various pictures, edits and video mixes she was tagged in. Some individual but most of them were of her and her co-actor, Karan. She smiled to herself grateful for all the love she has been receiving right from the beginning. Her thumb stopped on one particular video, she was tagged in.

"Find someone who looks at you the way Karan looks at Naina!<3 It said. Naina tapped it open. It was of a segment they had done with a channel, celebrating their 8 year anniversary. It was a short snippet of a part where she was blabbering praises for the channel on the mic and Karan was gazing at her all through the video, a sweet smile appearing on his face every time she laughed. This was not the first time she had seen off-screen edits made on her and Karan. Most of them seem to think that she and Karan, NaiRan as they are lovingly called, would make an adorable couple in real life.

The video replayed, and to be honest, the way he was looking at her gave her goose bumps. This thrilling feeling, she was yet to understand. No, she didn't liked him like that neither does he, for that matter. They are just good co-actors and friends, that's all.

"I don't believe this Meghna's remark shook her out of her reverie.

"Hun? What? Naina asked, stupefied.

"That you both don't like each other like that, I don't believe this at all Meghna winked.

Meghna and Naina played sisters onscreen but the bond they shared off-screen was very much the same

"What is she saying? Did I think out loud? Naina wondered to herself.

"Kya Meghu di? What are you talking about? I don't get a word of what you are saying, mujhe samajh me nhi aarha! She shaked her head and hoped to get out of this situation unscathed.

"Stop pretending to be dumb, Cheeku, You and I both know what we are talking about Meghna smacked her forehead. She couldn't believe how her little over smart sister, Naina could be so delusional regarding her own matters of heart.

"Dii! I don't understand what you are talking about because there is nothing like what you are thinking. There is no chance Karan likes me genuinely and if you are going to tell me about how he sometimes flirts with me on camera, I would like to say that he does it just for the camera, he likes to joke around, you know right? He is not serious and moreover he uses our character's name, it's not like he is saying about his own feelings or anything! Do you get it? Naina says, exasperated.

Meghna watches her for a second or two, grinning like a Cheshire cat.

"Whaat?

"I would have got it, my dear Naina, if you hadn't taken so much pain with the explanations Meghna smiled brightly. "You wish that flirting to be true, don't you?

"What? NO! Naina replies, quickly and fumbles with her phone.

"Look at me and say that Meghna snatches away her phone

"Diii? Are we really doing this? Even Kunal jokes with you like that sometimes but you take it for what it is, a joke only! Right?

"Right! He also looks at me like this, no? Sarcasm dripped from her voice as she flashed her phone to her with the same video she had been watching earlier. Naina ducks her face, sheepish. She knew, Kunal doesn't do these things.

"Errrmm

"Kunal also compliments my smile everytime, like it is the best for him in this world, right? Again, her taunting voice was obvious.

Mujhe iski smile bohot pasand hai, obviously pretty bohot hai but jab smile karti hai toh aur bhi jyaada pretty lagti hai'

She has a very pretty smile and I am flattened'

She has got a very cute smile, or yeh baat isko bhi pata hai'

"Do you Know? Kunal even says that a beautiful smile attracts him in a girl

The first thing I notice in a girl is smile. A pretty smile attracts me'

"Moreover, sometimes Kunal mentions me so many times in his individual interviews that it feels like I am also present in the interview

"Naina! Kahan kho gayi? Meghna smiled. "Chal ab, leave all this, Shot is ready chal jaldi Meghna could see that is she would say anything more Naina would lose her mind so decided to leave it for later. Naina took her phone back, locked it and zipped it in her handbag ready for her next shot.

"Kaise? Karan greeted Naina as she stepped where the sequence had to be shot. She only smiled in reply, failing to come up with some substantial reply. Karan came and stood next to her, ready for the take.

"..AAND ACTION!

"Kya huaa? Joh dhundhrhe the who milgya? Naina asked him, fully switched to her character.

"Mil toh bohot pele hi gaya thaa Karan said as he started taking steps towards her. He started leaning in and Naina felt her breath hitching, It's all part of the act Naina, calm down' she chided herself.

He leaned in closer and closer till she could feel his hot breath fanning her face. "Bohot..His voice was husky

..khuubsurat hai she could feel shivers rising in her body. She looked up to get locked in an intense stare.

He couldn't help but stare at her, absorbing her beauty, she was looking exquisite today.

"CUT! Broke their trance.

"Very good Naina, Karan. That was a perfect shot, it really seemed love was blooming between you two The director remarked, obviously about their characters but failed to notice the coloring that crept up Naina's cheeks.

"You should really try these Karan suggesting referring to the pair of shades she had received as a gift from a fan. Naina, Karan and Meghna didn't had scenes right now, so they were sprawled on the couch to kill their time.

"But they don't suit me Naina made a face.

"Areey acche lagte hai tumpe, you should really try them Karan was adamant.

"Okayy baba! I will, happy?

"Very He smirked

"But not today, some other day She replied.

"Fine by me. Accha what were you telling about Nisha, the other day?

"Nisha? Oh that Nisha, she has an affair with Raghav. You remember you have even met him?" She shrieked bubbling with excitement . This was her favorite part of the day, she loves gossiping and chitchatting. Karan was the perfect partner as he too loved Gossips and had more patience than anybody on the set to listen to her.

"Poor Him! Karan threw his head back and laughed for they both knew and had bitched about how Nisha was. Naina joined him.

"Wait a sec, I wanted to show you VM I came across yesterday He took his phone out. Karan rummaged his bag trying to find his phone. Bars of chocolate came out along with a look of realization on his face.

"Oh shit!

"Kyaa hua?

"Why did I forget! He slapped his forehead. "Mai Delhi gaya than a 2 din ke liye and I told you my sister bakes? She had prepared these chocolates at home and I brought some for you but damn I forgot about them

Karan bought his sister's handmade chocolates? for me?

"They must have melted nowHis face was adorably sad, she didn't like it.

"Areey koi baat nahi Karan! Vsse bhi mujhe melted chocolate jyaada pasand hai She smiled at him. He seemed dazed at first but then replied with a smile of his own. She gently took the bar from him and unwrapped it. It was indeed melted but Naina was ecstatic nevertheless.

Naina scooped up some chocolate with her finger and tasted it. "It is heavenly Karan, Next time you meet her thank her from my side and tell her to make an extra box of these amazing chocolates for me

"She would love too He said so low that it almost went unheard. "Mujhe nhi khilayegi?

"Haan le na

She scooped up some more and offered him but realized later about her stupidity. How he was supposed to eat from her finger? Before she could think of taking her hand back, Karan gently caught hold of wrist and took it near his mouth. He did not break his eye contact once; Naina was like a deer caught in headlights.

"Move your hand away! Her mind screamed but she couldn't bring herself to move a muscle.

He opened his mouth and closed it around her finger, gently licking the chocolate off it. Naina closed her eyes in pleasure as his warm moist mouth gave her goosebumps. He was still holding her wrist.

"Hey guys! Meghna interrupted the ordeal and Naina was thankful as her mind was going haywire.

"Did I interrupt something? Meghna asked with a naughty smirk.

"YES Karan retorted before Naina could open her mouth. She looked at him puzzled

"Ohh I am so sorry, I was asked to call you two for your shot Meghna said but more than sorry she sounded wicked and Naina knew this look of hers too well. She was scared for the questions. Hence, she avoided eye contact with her.

"I think he likes you Karan snickered.

"Who? Naina looked up bewildered. It was after a long time she responded after the incident. Sure she gave her shot well but seemed lost somewhere.

"Spot Dada! He openly guffawed now.

"Karan! Naina slapped his shoulder, and gave a small smile knowing that he is pulling her leg so that she goes back to her normal self. As they have gotten to know each other, with time he seems to know of all the right things to say at the right time whenever she is sad, upset, annoyed. He seems to know. The way she turns up with chocolate pastries for him when she feels he might not be in a good mood he also comes up with stupid stuff to make her laugh at moments like these.

"Sorry sorry, I was only joking,vsse bhi there is no chance he could like you, hota toh dikh jaata

"Accha shakal pe likha hota hai kya kisi ki if they like someone?

"Shakl pet toh nahi but haan if you look at someone's eyes you will be able to tell Karan replied, suddenly in a somber voice.

Naina, suddenly nervous with the shift in the atmosphere tried to lighten it. "Accha Karan Sir, apko bohot knowledge hai. Aap meri aankho me dekh ke bata sakte hai kya dikhta hai?

"Nahi

"Kyu nahi? She stomped her foot, but suddenly lost her balance.

She saw the ground approaching her with a lightning speed. Naina closed her eyes for the impact but was cushioned by two strong arms wrapping around her waist. Karan pulled her up to his chest.

Her breath quickened. She liked his grip around her. Maybe Di was partially right. Maybe she likes him, not only like maybe more than that but does he? No! He has so many female friends who are far better than me and have more pretty smiles why would he even like me!'

Karan leaned in closer putting a full stop to her internal ramblings.

"Kyuki agar tumhari aankho me jyaada der dekha toh.. His breath caressed her lips.

".. toh tumse pyaar hojayega, Naina! His eyes held the utmost sincerity leaving Naina gob smacked.

Her mouth opened in wonder. She felt his breath fasten. His moved a little more closer and she closed her eyes in anticipation. This was better than any film she has ever watched but Karan stopped in his tracks. She opened her eyes to see a flicker of hesitation in his eyes. Naina looked at him for a second, then with a firm determination grabs the label of his shirt and pulls him down crashing his lips with her.
