Ishra were hugging each other tight when ishita hold her tummy and said -ahh.

Raman broke the hug and said -kya hua, jaan.

Ishita -its paining, stitches dare kar rahe hai.

Raman picked her in his arms and make her lay down on the bed removing the heap of clothes. He adjusted pillow beside her and removed the clothes to see whether it start bleeding. But to his relief, her stitches was all fine. He softly caressed her bandaged stomach and said -mere liye kya kya kar gayi tu. Pagal hai Ek dum,ek baar nahi socha ki agar tujhe kuch ho jaata toh mera kya hota.

Ishita placed his head on her front and said caressing his hair -aapke baare mein soch kar hi kiya tha .u can't even think how I felt when I saw the bullet approaching u, kuch samajh hi nahi aata, all I want was to stop that. Aur uske liye joh mujhe munasib lagaa wahin kiya Maine. I stood in front of u.

Raman -sirf apni sochi naa, kabhi socha what I have felt seeing u in that pool of blood. Tere saath pal pal mara hoon main, tu toh ander thi, behosh thi but I was all conscious and was dying every second. He said while tears start flowing wetting her clothes.

Ishita make him look at her and cupped his face.

Ishita -stop crying Raman. U know naa I can't see u in tears.

Raman -toh kyun takleef deti hai mujhe. Kyun iss tarah chod kar jaa rahi thi mujhe.

Ishita -I am sorry ,mujhe lagaa ki main ab aapke kaabil nahi rahi.

Raman -bahut samajhdaar ho gayi hai naa. Apna dimaag lagane lagi hai, bewakoof kahin ki. Khabardaar joh aaj ke baad apna dimaag lagaya toh. Tu jaisi hai mere liye sabse pyaari hai, meri jaan hai tu. Aur tujhe paa kar bahut khush hoon main. He said and softly kisses her temple. She closed her eyes feeling his touch. He start dropping soft kisses all over her face while she just closed her eyes feeling his touch. She was feeling overwhelmed by his love. She wrapped her arms around him and signalled him to go ahead but he broke the hug and said -sochna bhi mat, ur stitches r fresh.

Ishita made a baby face and said -jab dena nahi hai toh kya tempt kar rahen hai.

Raman smiled at her cuteness and said -bachchi hai tu ekdum. Bhookh lagi hai.

Ishita nodded in yes.

Raman -wait, I bring something for u.

Ishita -main chalun.

Raman -no, u r new bride, tujhe maa le jayengi.

Ishita -maa maan jayengi naa.

Raman nodded and went out of the room. He thought to go to his mother but then thought otherwise and went to kitchen. He looked around and then checked the fridge. He saw bread and thought to give her bread -butter. He took out the bread and start applying the butter. He thought to make tea for her and start preparing for it but ended up making the utensil fall.

Toshiji came running hearing the sound and saw raman standing with content of tea all over himself.

Toshiji smiled a little and then said making a face -what r u doing here.

Raman look down and said -woh maa ishita ko dawa leni thi, toh usse kuch khilana tha. So,

Toshiji -so what, did u forget that I am the woman of the house. U should have told me in place of doing it myself. Aud khila raha hai usse tu, yeh bread -butter. Don't u know butter is not good for her stitches. Tu jaa, apna huliya sudhar, I will make something for her.

Raman -aap banaoge ,maa.

Toshiji -agar aaj tak khana Maine banaya hai toh aage bhi main hi banaungi. U go from here.

Raman nodded and went out of the kitchen while Toshiji start preparing porridge for ishita while her husband's words were ringing in her ears.

Toshiji was sitting in her room angrily when Mr bhalla came to her and said -kya hua.

Toshiji glared at him and said -u really don't know ki kya hua.

Mr bhalla -yes I don't know. He said calmly.

Toshiji -why u did so, bhalla ji .aapne kyun ishita ko accept kiya.

Mr bhalla -toh kya karta, usse raman se dur kar deta. Aapka beta bhi usse utna hi pyaar karta hai toshiji jitna woh ladki karti hai.

Toshiji -par bhalla ji, woh kabhi maa nahi ban sakti. Toh Raman kaise pyaar kar sakta hai usse.

Mr bhalla -yeh Aap keh rahi hai toshiji, bhool gayi Ek samay tha, jab doctor ne kaha tha ki aap kabhi maa nahi ban payengi.kya Maine aapka saath chod diya tha.

Toshiji looked at Mr bhalla hearing this when Mr bhalla said-sab chahte the ki main aapki chod kar dusri shaadi kar loon but Maine ki kya, sabse ladh gaya par aapka saath nahi choda, just because I love u. Toh jab Maine aapka saath nahi choda toh woh bhi mera hi beta hai ,woh bhi apne pyaar ko kabhi akela nahi chodega.

Toshiji -but maij banjh nahi thi, I gave birth to raman. Par ishita kabhi maa nahi ban sakti, kabhi bhi nahi. Mere Raman ka kabhi koi bachcha nahi hoga bhalla ji. Hamara parivar hum par hi khatam ho jayega.

Mr bhalla -toh kya ho jayega toshiji. Hum kaun si tiger ki Aakhiri generation hai ki hamare ghar bachcha nahi hua toh duniya tiger nahi dekh payegi. Aur waise bhi toshiji, marne ke baad hamara naam lene wala koi hai yaa nahi, iss baat se jyada maayne iss baat ke hai ki hum jeete kaise hai. Apne eklauta bete ko dukhi dekh kar jee payengi aap. Raman bahut pyaar karta hai ishita se, dekha nahi tha kaise mar raha tha woh uske bina.aaj jab ishita uske paas aa gayi hai toh usme nayi jaan nazar naa rahi hai. Kyun usse uski jaan chinna chahti hai. Kal ko agar raman ko kuch ho gaya toh seh payengi aap.

Toshiji nodded in no .

Mr bhalla -toh achcha yahin hai ki apne bete ke liye khud rahiye, aur unhe aashirwad dijiye. Kyunki agar raman khush rahega toh hi hum khush rahenge.

Toshiji look at Mr bhalla and he closed his eyes to confirm.

Toshiji -par woh itni ameer hai, how she will adjust.

Mr bhalla -jahan pyaar hota hai naa, saare adjustments ho jaaye hai. I know she will adjust with us. Waise bhi jab Aap usse bahut pyaar karengi toh woh toh khush rahegi hi.aakhir aapke Mann mein sabke liye itna pyaar joh hai. He said smiling making her smile too.

Toshiji was thinking what to do when she heard the sound from kitchen and went to see Raman in kitchen.

Toshiji -i think bhalla ji is right. Aise ghar mein klesh Karna sahi nahi. Waise bhi meri khushi toh mere puttar ki khush mein hi hai, agar woh bina bachche ke hi khush hai toh mujhe bhi unke dukh ka kaaran nahi banna chahiye. Bahut duaon se mila hai mujhe mera puttar. I can't loose him at any cost. She was thinking when the cooker whistles. She switched it off and waited for the cooker to open. Then she poured the content into the plate and went to Raman's room.she was feeling awkward to go inside so she knocked the door.

Raman was in washroom so ishita get out of the bed and walked to the door slowly keeping her hand on the waist. She opened the door and saw toshiji.

Ishita -maa Aap, she said while Toshiji looked at her face which was red due to pain.toshiji put the plate on the side table and held ishita.

Toshiji -kya hua puttar.

Ishita look at her and got happy hearing puttar from her. She leaned on toshiji and said -bahut dard ho raha hai maa.

Toshiji hold her tight and shouted for help .mr bhalla come running while Raman too came out of the washroom in a jiffy.

Raman -kya hua maa.

Toshiji -arey Isse itna dard ho raha hai aur tu khote de puttar ki tarah naha raha hai. Chal utha kar rakh Isse bed par, bhalla ji doctor ko bulaiye ,kya ho gaya,abhi toh thik thi. She said getting worried while Raman and Mr bhalla smiled seeing toshiji's concern for ishita.

Seeing raman not helping her, toshiji said -daant kya dikha raha hai, help kar.

Raman -ji maa, he said and took ishita to the bed while Mr bhalla called the nearest doctor.

Soon doctor was there to check ishita. Mr and Mrs iyer too have come to check on ishita.

Doc -its nothing much, I think she is empty stomach aur medicine bhi nahi li.ussi wajah se aisa hua. Main kuch dawa de de rahi hoon. Aap log inhe de dijiyega aur agar dare badhe toh hot water bag se senk dijiyega. She will be fine and don't let her exert herself. Koi heavy cheez bhi naa uthaye .ok.

All nodded and soon the doctor went. Iyers too went leaving ishita with bhallas.

Mr bhalla -raman make her eat and give her medicine. Tune suna naa she needs rest. He said slowly only audible to raman telling him not to do anything with her tonight.

Raman nodded and said -ji papa.

Soon Mr and Mrs bhalla went out of the room .Raman sat next to her and start feeding her. She too was eating as she was very hungry. He was feeding her when toshiji came with lukewarm water and said -tell her to drink this only, hot water bag bhi yahin rakh diya hai, use it if needed. She said and was going when Raman said -maa.

Toshiji -I am here only, kisi cheez ki zarurat hai toh batana mujhe.

Ishita -aur aapko zarurat hui toh. She said meekly.

Toshiji turn to ishra and said -toh main bhi yahan hoon puttar. She said caressing ishita's hair.

Ishita's eyes got moist hearing this from Toshiji and said -aapne mujhe maaf kar diya.

Toshiji -karna hi pada, aakhir tu mere puttar ki jaan joh hai. Aur mera puttar meri. She said making Ishra smile. Raman got up and hugged toshiji tight while ishita tried to get up.

Toshiji -abhi maaf kiya hai abhi gussa ho jaungi, why u r getting up, u r not fine. Raman tu isse khila kar sula de, I am making dinner. Bol kya khayega.

Raman got happy and said -kheer bana do maa. It's long since I eat that.

Toshiji -ok, I am making kheer for u, aur palak paneer bana deti hoon. She said and went out of the room while Ishra hugged each other tight happily.

Ishita -sab maan gaye Raman, sab maan gaye hamari shaadi ko.

Raman pecked her temple and said -i told u naa, maa jarur maan jayegi, she loves me alot. He said happily and start feeding her again.

Mr bhalla put his hand on toshiji's shoulder and said -see, how happy our son is. Hume aur kya chahiye.

Toshiji looked at Mr bhalla and nodded. They shared a side hug and both went giving Ishra their privacy.
