Raman Kumar Bhalla, Assistant Commissioner of Police Mumbai, a sincere police office, can go to any extent to safe guard the law and people. He worships his job. He is very rough and tough from outside, but very kind hearted from inside.
Early morning 3'o clock, Raman enters his house with the spare key and comes to his room silently. He was surprised to see light on his room and peeped inside only to see the most cute scene he had ever seen. A smile lingered in his lips, this sight made him forget all the tiredness of his stressful day. His wife was sitting in the bed in a half lying position with closed eyes while his baby jaan was sitting in her mother's tummy and playing with her mumma's long hair and mangalsutra.
Raman opened the door and it made Ishita to jerk out of her sleep.
Raman: Sorry jaan.. I woke you up
Ishu: It's okay Raman, aap freshen up hoke aavo mein khaana lagathi hu
Raman: Nahi jaan, you sleep mujhe bhook nahi hai
Ishu: Aise kaise bhook nahi hongi.. mein khaana lagti hum
Raman: Sacchi mujhe bhook nahi hai
Ishu: Raman par mujhe bhook lagi hai..
Raman: Jaan tumse kitne baar kaha mere liye wait math karo, aapna khaana correct time mein kalo, par nahi madam kahan meri sunti
Ishu*pouts*: Raman mujhe bohot zoor se bhook lagi hai aur uper se aap mujhe lecture derahe ho
Raman*smiling at his wife's antics*: Mein freshen up okke aati hum, tum neeche jaavo
Raman went to freshen up while Ishita went down with Ruhi. She made Ruhi set on the kitchen slab and kept the food to reheat in the oven. Raman came down after freshening up and saw Ruhi in her mumma's arms. Raman walked towards IshRu and tried to take Ruhi from Ishu, but Ruhi clung more into Ishu and hid her face in her mumma's neck.
Raman: Aaj papa ki princess ko kya huwa??
Ruhi: Rooh guccha hai.. Papa late late aaye.. papa rooh se plomise kiya ki papa aaj plincess aul mumma ko dinnel keliye bahaal le jayenge..
Raman*held his ears*: Papa is sorry baccha.. papa ko ek important kaam aagaya isiliye nahi aapaya.. par tomorrow papa jarror princess aur mumma ko sirf dinner nahi pehle shopping phir movie phir dinner ke lejayenge.. promise
Ruhi slowly took her head out of her mumma's neck and looked towards Raman and seeing Raman looking at her she immediately hid her face again. IshRa smiled seeing their daughter's cute antics.
Raman: Rooh bacha papa se abhi bhi naraz hai.. lektha hai kal mujhe sravu ko shopping par lejana chahiye..
Ruhi: Slavu ko nahi papa.. mein shopping shopping kalungi
Raman: Par rooh toh papa se naraz haina fir kaise
Ruhi: Par ruhi abh naraz nahi hai
Raman: Accha..
and tickled Ruhi and Ruhi burst into laughter.
Raman took Ruhi into his arms and the trio sat in the dinning table for their dinner with Ruhi in Raman's lap and Ishu was sitting in their left. She served their dinner in a plate and began feeding Raman with her own hands and she herself had it.
This was their routine, daily night Ishita would wait for Raman and feed him with her own hands.
After completing the dinner Ruhi slept in Raman's arms while Ishita cleaned the table. Raman made Ruhi sleep comfortably in the sofa and helped her wash the dishes. After finishing all the chores, Raman picked Ruhi in his hands and both walked towards their room.
He placed Ruhi on the bed comfortable and lied on her left side, while Ishu lied on the right side.
Raman: Bohot royi hai kya?
Ishu: Haan.. rone ke baad zidd pakad kar baiti dhi.. bohot manane ki baad hi kuch kaya. Do you know Raman Ruhi ne mummyji ko call kiya aapke bare mein complaint karne keliye.
Raman: My poor baccha.. bohot royana..
and kissed Ruhi's forehead
Raman: Mummyji ne kya kaha.. wahan sab log kaise hai?
Ishu: Sab log teek hai.. Romi ne ek nayi company mein join kiya hai.. aur Rinki keliye ek naye rishta aaya hai..
Raman: Hmm
Ishita: Aap mummyji se ek baar baath karo na..
Raman: Tumme sab pata haina..
Ishu: Phir bhi ek baar
Raman: Mummyji ko bhi baath kar saktha haina.. Papa ne kaha mujhse baat math karo isiliye maa baath nahi karage.. Mein nahi karungi mein kuch galth nahi kiya
Ishu: Mummyji bhi kya kare.. woh aapne pati aur bete ke beech phaas gayi hai..
Raman: Good night.. mujhe bohot needh aaraha hai tum bhi so jaavo
Mr Bhalla hates Raman's profession so he asked Raman to get out of his house. He restricted Toshiji Romi and Rinki to contact Raman. He didn't attend IshRa marriage nor allowed others to go. But Ishita and Toshiji talk to each other almost everyday. Bhallas are settled in Delhi.
Next day morning, Ishita woke up and saw both Raman and Ruhi sleeping. Ruhi's hands and legs were thrown over Raman while Raman was sleeping with his face burried in the pillow. She smiled seeing them and went to freshen up. After taking bath, Ishu went to kitchen made coffee for herself and tea for Raman and went to wake him up.
She walked towards Raman and kept the tea on the side table and sat besides Raman and slowly patted his back
Ishu: Raman Raman uto na baba.. 7 baaj gayi
Raman: 5 minutes more jaan please
Ishu: No 5 minute.. uto abh
Raman: Haan haan udd gaya
and again slept
Ishu: Raman abhi udogi ya nahi.. mujhe aur bhi kaam hai
After a struggle of 10 minutes Raman got up
Raman: Abh khush.. mera needh ka dushman
Ishu: jaavo jaake brush karo
Raman went to brush and came back. Ishu handed over his tea and both sat in their balcony sipping their coffee and tea and talking about something or the other. This is their only lone time.
After finishing their tea, Raman went to freshen up while Ishu went to wake Ruhi and then made her brush her teeth and gave her a bath. By the time Raman came out ready for his day. Handing over Ruhi to Raman Ishu went to make the breakfast while Raman dressed up Ruhi for her play school.
After getting ready both baap beti came down. Ishu served the breakfast and trio had their breakfast with Raman and Ishu feeding Ruhi. After that Ishu went to get ready and came down.
Ruhi: Papa aapna plomise maath boolna..
Raman: Ok princess.. papa aapko aur mumma ko school se directly pick karlunga
Ruhi jumped in joy shouting Yaayaay!!!
IshRa were happy seeing their princess happy
The trio left the house for the day. Department vehicle was waiting outside for Raman while the school bus arrived for IshRu.
(Ishita is a school teacher for +1, +2.. and Ruhi is in playschool of the same school)
