The crux of today's episode lay in the conversation between the twins. They discussed everything from each other's disposition to their family issues. Vatsalya is silently dealing with the weight of the family's business reins that have been handed over to him while Anami has an explosive verbal confrontation with her foster-mother about why her birthday weighs her down every year.
The twins escape to the Varanasi ghats in the middle of the night to deal with the inner turmoil that has arisen from their birthday in solitude...
...only to find an unexpected sense of belonging in each other. Their feelings of incompleteness and sense of search dissipated, if only momentarily, as they shared their joys and sorrows with each other.
But as they walked back into their own lives they were left confronting their problems once again:
Anami doesn't know whom she belongs to and, though she won't admit it, she yearns to find out... Vatsalya knows exactly where he belongs but he can't help but wish he could escape it, if only for a bit...
