Chapter 8

When Geet hugged Maan his hands automatically come around her, don't know why he feel he needs to protect her from everyone, he close his eyes holding her in his arms.

"I'm all fine" she tell.

"Why everyone turned out bad when I think they are good" he ask.

"In this world no one is good or bad, we all have an angel & a devil inside us but some people choose to be angel like you and some people choose to be devil like Yash" Maan look her face so close to him he put some curl behind her ear.

"What you choose" he ask. Geet look down at his chest still not feeling like pulled away from his protective arm.

"Both" she speak.

"But I don't think you can be bad" he said. Geet smile at him knowing him that he can't find anyone bad.

Yash look Maan Geet both from behind a tree he is angry seeing both this close.

"Now I have to tell you about Maan and khushi, if you are not mine then you can't be anyone" He smile evilly thinking now her happiness is in his hands.

After seeing pari Maan drop Geet to her home and then he turn his bike to coffee shop then reach home after dinner Maan remember about piyush. He went kitchen.

"Maa actually I forget to tell you that I meet a uncle" Gayatry stop cleaning plates when she heard him.

"Kya naam tha unka" She ask, Maan think for sometime then he tell smiling.

"Piyush, Piyush Bajaj haan yeh hi naam tha" Gayatry look him she can't believe that finally piyush find them.

"I have his number also look" He saw piyush number in his mobile. Gayatry angrily pulled mobile from his hand only to delete piyush number.

"Maa why you delete his number" Ask Maan confused by Gayatry behavior.

"I'm telling you stay away from him." Gayatry feel so frustrated to see piyush again trying to be close to Maan.

"But why maa he is a nice man then why you are saying this" Maan ask can't understand his maa.

"Not a word more, go to your room now" She almost shouted on Maan for the first time. Maan look her feeling hurt with her behavior. Gayatry saw Maan going to his room sadly, she too feel bad that she shout on him.

"I'm sorry Maan but this is good for you that you stay away from piyush" she thought.

After two weeks.

Maan saw Vicky when he and Armaan entered college, he walked toward him.

"Hi Vicky" Vicky look him and try to smile.

"Hey" Maan smile at him then sat on a bike in front of vicky.

"You didn't meet pari from two weeks, right" Maan ask knowing he can't go to pari house because her mom still don't know about them. Vicky look him then nod sadly.

"Milna chahate ho usse" He ask only to find Vicky looking him surprisedly happy.

"But how." Ask Vicky know Maan has some idea.

"We are going to meet her and you are my friend" He said with a wink.

"You're the best" Vicky smile before he hug Maan happily.

Pari house.

Pari mother Shushila open door only to see Maan, she smile at him.

"Oh Maan come" He enter smiling and turn back.

"Maa he is my friend Vicky sharma" Maan introduces Vicky to her. vicky her take her blessing, she smile blessing him, then shushila left to kitchen for making something for both.

"You are too fast yaar abhi se hi apni hone wali wife ki maa ko impress karna shuru" Maan said. Vicky smile at his teasing. shushila come with coffee for both and tell maan that she is going to market, he have to be there with pari till she come back.

She think moving out of house she know Maan from his school time, pari and Maan study in same school they become friends. Maan treat her like his maa & pari like his sister. she trust Maan more then anyone. she smile knowing pari is in safe hands, she don't have to worry about her.

When shushila leave for market Maan hold Vicky hand and take him to pari room they find her seating in front of window.

"Pari" Maan call her name. She turn to face him and smile seeing Vicky with Maan. Vicky look her now she don't has bandage on her head.

"Vicky tum yahaan kaise, what you tell maa so she let you come into my room" She ask then look Maan who is smile at them both.

"Maa ko kaha ke friend hai Vicky mera" Maan tell. Vicky smile, pari too smile.

"Thank you Maan" she said.

"If you are saying thanks then I'm taking my friend back" Maan teased her.

"Don't tease my pari okay" Vicky tell hugging pari.

"So you both are on one side then I'm going mujhe kabab mein haddy nahi banna" Maan frown cutely.

"Maan maa kahaan hain?" she ask.

"Maa market gayi hain, I'm waiting for you both out side" telling Maan walked out of room Vicky face pari.

"How are you" Vicky ask.

"All fine you can see" Pari says, she look into his eyes when his hand wrap around her waist, he pulled her to himself, their forehead touched.

"I missed you so much in these two weeks" he tell.

"I also wanted to meet you and talk to you but here is always someone with me they not leave me for even a minute" She said almost lost into his eyes then she find his hand on her side of neck moving into her hair, she hold his black shirt tightly feeling totally different today, they were never this close before.

"I love you" he says over so passionately.

"I love you too" she replied. Vicky stare her smiling feeling very happy that she finally confess, in happiness he kisses her, she close eyes kissing him back feel so good. They finally shared their first kiss.

In Delhi... Bajaj mansion...

Piyush try Maan call but he is not picking his call, in these two weeks he is trying everyday but Maan is not taking his calls.

"Why Maan not taking my call kahin yeh number toh galat nahi" he thought.

Next day in college canteen...

Maan notice khushi, she look lost somewhere. He sat beside her Meera look both and then Armaan, eyes him to look them.

"Is everything fine?" He ask. khushi nods, she stand and walk out of canteen sadly Maan look her, he know there is some problem.

"Go ask her what happens" Meera says, Maan look her then he went behind khushi only to find her in garden.

"Mujhe nahi bataogi kya hua hai" he ask. Khushi turn to him with her teary eyes.

"My mother fixed my engagement" she said. Maan feel like earth slip from under his feet, he can't believe what she just tell him. Khushi look him, she know he never says anything but he too feel something for her.

"You heard it right my engagement is in next week" she tell.

"I thought you like me" Maan ask, he don't even care about his tear which just fell from his eyes. the tear in his eyes hurt her but now both know they can't do anything khushi take two step forward.

"I just want an answer can you give me" Maan know he is fighting a lost battle.

"Do you still feel same about me" he ask, Khushi take two more step toward Maan. they both are just a step away to hold each other but they both know they lost the right to do that too.

"Nothing going to change with my answer" she said, this is not like she don't want to tell him that how much she love him but she just don't want to make everything more complicated by confess her love. Maan turned to leave from with his broken heart when khushi hold his hand.

"Maan" Khushi cry taking his name, she knew this is last time they are together, she come in front of him.

"I'm sorry" She cry throwing her arm around Maan neck hug him first and last time Maan too crushed her closer hiding his face in her neck with wet eyes.

"I hate you for leaving me like this" his fist tighten around her waist.

In evening... Geet home...

Geet look her teddy bear blankly.

"You know angel today I break Maan and khushi" a tear roll down her cheek.

"Why I did this whyyy?" She yelled kicking glass table in front of her in anger which break into pieces like her heart, just like Maan and khushi hearts. she know she did wrong but she can't let go of her only happiness. she remember how she get to know about Maan khushi the same day when Yash misbehave with her.

Flashback...

Geet was in her room all happy after meeting Maan when her servant inform her that Yash is here to meet her and she angrily come out of her room thinks to finish this all today.

"What the hell are you doing here" She shout at him angrily and find him smile.

"Have you gone mad or what" She said annoy by him.

"Did you checked your mobile ? I have a surprise for you" he ask. Geet look him confused then check her mobile in her messages.

"What you are trying to prove by these pics" She don't want to saw him that she is actually surprised to see Maan and khushi pics in some pics they are laughing and some holding hand. Yash saw her face he knew he is successful in his plan.

"Oh don't tell me you don't know that Maan and khushi in a relationship" He ask innocently. Geet know him how cheap can be this guy.

"I mean you they love each other" he told in clear words. Geet thow her mobile on wall yelling feeling cheated.

"GET OUT NOW" She yell in rage. Yash evilly smile walking out. As Yash left Geet can't control her anger she break everything which thing come into her eyes, she feel like fool that she never seen anything other than Maan, why she never notice Maan and khushi yes she did but she think they are just friends.

Flashback out...

Geet look the glass pieces in all around her room.

"Kya Maan mujhe kabhi maaf karega yeh janne ke baad ke meine khushi ko usse alag kiya hai" She knew very well he will never forgive her for what she did.

Next day...

Geet searched Maan in college she also ask Meera who Meera tell her that Maan is not picking his call she already called him. Geet look worriedly at Meera.

"Don't worry" Meera know what happens yesterday, she seen Maan khushi crying. She talk with khushi also who tell her about her engagement and khushi also tell her about her family, they never ask from girl about their choice they just married them when they find a nice family. Meera never thought something like this can happen to her best friends. Maan not even talked with anyone after talking with khushi now Meera don't want to tell Geet anything about her friends personal life.

Moving away from Meera, Geet again try Maan call and found it switch off, she is not understanding what should she do now. she leaves from college not feeling good when her car take turn from coffee shop she can't stop herself but to ask about Maan. Suraj said Maan didn't come today. she start to get worried more. In evening Geet feel so restless so she leave for beach thinking about Maan only when she find a guy in a little away from her, she went close to him.

"Maan" she speak. He turned to face her, she find his red eyes, know he not even sleep last night.
