Part 32
After few hours ,Ishita was still unconscious while both the family members were still waiting for her to get back in senses .It was almost midnight ,Raman told their parents to go and rest while he is with her.Their parents denied but amma and toshiji's were looking too worn out and tired because of continues cries ,showing their state Raman insisted their fathers to take them home .Though they were not ready but they have to take care of ishita so non can afford to be sick , thinking so elders went to home while Raman sat beside ishita and was looking to her with teary eyes .He still was not able to believe that the person laying in front of him ,wrapped in bandage is his Ishita who has just been saved from death .
Raman caressed her forehead which was filly bandaged and spoke " jaan look what you have done to yourself , what was the hurry I was coming to you only , see how much you have hurt yourself ."
Saying so he kissed back of her palm and he too closed his eyes ,sitting in the stool ,resting his head on the bed . Soon sleep took over him as he was also too exhausted. He has directly come from airport to hospital and has not changed his cloths also.
Around the dawn ishita stirred a bit , then opened her eyes ,she felt that her eyes are not opening properly as if they were swollen due to much sleeping but next moment she realized that its not her room .She tried to open her eyes widely and recognize the place .The moment she recognized the place her one hand went to her tummy and another to her face .She felt that her whole face was covered with bandage but she couldn't feel anything about the baby as till now she had not grown baby bump .
As her eyes were not fully open she can only see a little ,she scanned the room but didn't found anyone ,she became sad and got up immediately .Raman who was sleeping in sitting position holding her hand ,got up with the movement and asked " jaan how are you feeling ".
Listening to his voice she looked at him and asked with teary eyes " Raman you are there ."
R- what type of question is this ,mujhe to yaheen rahna tha.
I- Raman our baby?
Though he knew that the first question from her will be this only but then also he got got disturbed listening to it ,he got up from his place ,side hugged her by sitting beside her and spoke caressing her back " jaan you are well you should rest ,jyaada bast mat karo aise bhi its 4.00 am in morning ,saare so rahein you too sleep ,come I will make you sleep ."
He told this resting her face on his chest ,she took out her face from his embrace pushed him a bit and spoke " Raman don't try to divert my mind , answer my question ,is our baby there or ...
Raman couldn't let her complete and spoke pulling her in his embrace" doctor couldn't save him."
She broke into tears listening to it ,while he spoke wiping her tears " don't cry so much jaan ,its not good for you , you are very weak as well as your bandage will get wet because of tears ."
She cried for sometimes hugging him then spoke folding her hands in front of him" I m sorry Raman ,i couldn't save our baby rather we lost him because of my stubbornness. amma was...
Raman interrupted her in mid and spoke wiping her unshed tears- are you mad. Aisa kuch nahi hai. Its just god thought that may be we are not ready for the baby that's why it happened , suna hai na " kabhi kisi ko samay se pahle aur kismat se jyada nahi milta ." may be its not the appropriate time .may be...
Ishita stopped him in mid and spoke " don't try to cover my mistake Raman , rather it was not my mistake but sin ,I killed my baby raman I killed my baby .
Saying so she broke into tears ,Raman too was in same position ,he too was broken inside but he suppressed his emotions and hugged ishita tight . He wiped her tears and then his ,but they were uncontrollable ,they were coming again and again .They cried for sometimes and then Ishita asked touching her bandage ,"Raman why my whole face is covered with bandage ".
Raman just imagined the whole accident which the police inspector narrated and shivered ,he pulled Ishita closer to him and cried imagining the worst while she asked again " Raman please bolo na ".
Raman any how composed himself and answered " jaan it was a severe accident the front glass of your car was broken and its pieces were pierced in your face ,for the time being your face is injured that's why it is covered with bandage ,as soon as it will be cured they will remove it ."
Ishita hided her face in her palm and sobbed ,Raman removed her palm and spoke " jaan please don't ,everything will be alright ."
I- Raman I m not kid ,I know the consequences of this ,my whole face is ruined ,it will be full of cuts and wounds, ab main bahut badsurat ho gayi hoon .
R(shushing her)- shush jaan ,you talk so much ,now you rest .
I(still crying )- how can I sleep ,when my whole life is ruined ,I killed my baby ,I damaged my face .it was my mistake , yes Raman you were right ,you always told me not to be adamant but I didn't listened you ever and god punished me like this .
R- ishita please ,if you love me then stop , you are my jkr I can't see you so broken ,please stop crying and rest .
I- agar Maine amma se zid nahi ki hoti then this wouldn't had happened .
R- ishita leave it ,Jo ho gaya so ho gaya, we can't change it ,then why are you ruining your health by crying like this .
He was trying to stop him but couldn't as she was crying again and again cursing herself.Raman to sooth her pulled her in tight hug ,so tight that she couldn't even move and patted her to sleep ,she too slept immediately as she was fully exhausted with the crying and also was under medication .
Next morning their parents arrived and saw ishita sleeping hiding herself in him while he was sleeping in sitting position holding her protectively .They kept the necessary things they brought while listening to the sounds he woke . They asked about ishitas condition and also that if she wake or not .
Raman carefully ,took his hands off from her body and lays her in bed . He climbed down the bed and told them about Ishita ,how is was cursing herself and crying .They all cried listening about her , ishita too woke after a while and she again started crying ,amma and toshiji went to her and consoled her .She saw them and spoke " Mummyji amma why you people are consoling me ,loving me .get angry on me ,scold me ,I don't deserve this love and concern ,I m bad so bad ,I never listened to you all ,I killed my baby , because of me you all are here .Main kitna pareshaan karti hoon aap logo ko why you people love me so much ."
T( hugging her )- kyoki tu hai hi itni pyaari .
I- no Mummyji ..
T- chup kuch mat bol ,now go abd freshen up ,I had brought tea and snacks for you people .
A- I too have brought idlis for you .
Ishita saw everybody with teary eyes while Raman walked to her to help her in freshening up .She saw him witg teary eyes while he signalled her to come to washroom with him.
