The way with which he talked to her, the pain in his voice and how hopeless he was ,she can easily feel in his voice.

She look at ashok and he asked-what was that.
Shagun-chalo batati hoon. She said and very soon they were in car going back to bhalla mansion.

On the other hand, Toshiji was crying sitting in the jail.

He was sitting in a corner like a statue since he came back from court.he was feeling guilty for bringing Shagun in their life.he never knew that the girl who acted so innocent infront of them all can cheat them like that. He still can't believe the girl he married betrayed him like this, she put him and his family behind the bars.
On the other hand, ishita was lost in studying the case. She was trying to concentrate on the case study but her mind was going on Raman's words and on the pain in his voice every now and then.
At last she closed her laptop and went to sleep.
