It was more then an hour since ishita was inside, Raman was waiting impatiently for the doctor, to come and give him some good news but all he was getting was long wait.
Mihir was sitting beside raman while he was sitting silently on the chair waiting for the doctor. Romi simmi called raman finding ishra not in home only to get to know that ishita fell off the stairs.
They came to the hospital asap and came running to raman.they hugged raman tight and cried saying-bhabhi maa ki kya hua bhai achanak.
Simmi-she will be OK naa, bhai. Both were crying and saying while Raman was all silent. He was feeling guilty for being the reason of this mishap. His words acted like venom for her and now ready to consume her now. He cried hugging his siblings tightly not able to take the pain.
Two hours passed like this, all was waiting anxiously for the doctor to come out and say that ishita is out of danger but all they were getting was a long wait.
After sometime, which seems like ages for them, finally the doctor came out.
All ran to him and raman asked-how is my wife now, doc.
Doc-she is not good, infact she is very critical. Did she ever had any head injury before.
Romi -nahi toh, she was all OK since she is with us.
Doc-remember anytime her head banged with some thing hard.
Raman remembered how her head got banged on stairs when she was saving him from fire.
Raman -yes, I remember she got hurt once. Her head got banged with the stairs.why ,what happened.
Doc-i think she got hurt in the same place again and that's why the wound is too deep. I afraid we will be able to save her or not.
All got stunned hearing this,raman couldn't hold himself and crushed on floor crying and said folding his hands sitting on his knees-please save her, please save my ishita. Usse kuch ho gaya toh Main mar jaaunga. Please save my wife doctor. he said sitting on his knees folding his hand, almost begging for Ishita's life.
All eyes turned moist seeing Raman's condition while romi simmi too start crying hearing about ishita. They too hugged raman and cried bitterly.
The siblings cried for long for ishita and finally settle down side by side waiting for some good news.
After sometime, mihir sent romi and simmi to have coffee and snacks as they have not eaten anything for long.
After they went mihir sat next to Raman and put his hand on Raman's shoulder. He looked at mihir and said-its all because of me mihir, agar main woh sab nahi kehta toh ishita kuch nahi sunti and she would be fine. It all happened just because of u.
Mihir-yes bhai, it all happened because of u. Actually not u but because of ur misconception. He said making raman look at him all confused.

I know u may have some insecurities as bhabhi always has an upper hand in this relationship, actually she is the base of this relationship. But yeh jaruri nahi ki joh pehle pyaar kare ussi ka pyaar mahaan ho, ur love can be equally great as her.and seeing ur desperation I can say that ur love for her is not less then hers for u, if not more. Bhai pyaar ko naapne ka koi barometer nahi hota, so I can't measure ur love for bhabhi, but one thing is sure, u love her very much. Aur rahi baat physical hone ki toh only u can pin point the reason behind this. No one can make u understand it's reason nor u should discuss this with anyone else then her. It should be between u two only. I hope u r getting what I mean to say. Aap samajh rahen ho naa bhai.
Raman nodded and said-yes I am getting what u want to say. Shayad yeh meri hi galti thi ki main apne pyaar ko hi nahi samajh paaya.always thought and believed that I married her just to keep her happy. But sach toh yeh hai ki uska mere saath hona jitna uske liye jaruri hai utna hi, yaa shayad usse jyada mere liye. I want her near me to keep me happy and contented. I want her in my life mihir. I need her to be alive. Mujhe uski zarurat hai. Meri ishita mujhe wapas de do mihir, main mar jaaunga uske bina. He said and hugged mihir tight, while he consoled raman saying, everything will be fine bhai.
Few hours more passed like this, all were waiting to get some news regarding ishita .mihir brought coffee for them, he offer coffee to Raman also but he was sitting like stone. He was just looking at the red bulb and waiting for it to switch off.so that someone can tell him about his Ishita's well-being.
He was looking at the door continuously and was remembering the time she entered into his life spreading her beautiful smile. He remembered how she use to take care of him, how he use to wait for her, how she shaved his beard for the first time and complemented him to blush. How she saved h from that fire and how she confessed her love for his and their first kiss, how he felt at peace whenever she hide him in her arms and how good he felt when appa gave her hand to him.
Raman -i know ishita, I hurt u so much. But I am really sorry, please wapas aa jao mere paas, I need u. I need u badly with me. Main nahi jee sakta tumhare bina. He was thinking and tears were flowing endlessly from his eyes.

It was more then five hours since ishita was in OT and now Raman was loosing his cool. At last he couldn't wait anymore, hewent to OT and knocked the door. A junior doctor came out and asked-what happened, what's the problem.
Raman -u tell me what's the problem. We r waiting here since ages and u guys r not even telling me hows my wife. If u r unable to treat her, then tell me clearly, I will take care of her, will call specialist for her but I will not let anything happen to her. Just tell me what's going on. How's my wife. He said looking his temper.
Dr-relax Mr bhalla, I am understanding ur condition, but u r not understanding ur wife's condition. She got hurt on the same place twice and last time it wasn't treated also. May be she ignored it, that's why it became fatal this time. We have to treat her very keenly or a single mistake will cost her life. A single press on any wrong nerve can make a big damage,so please be a little patient. We r trying hard and very soon ur wife will be fine.
Raman understand the problem and said-ok I am waiting, but please make her fine. Please don't let anything happen to her. He said folding his hands.
Dr held his hand and said-we r trying our level best. U please wait. Saying so he went inside while Raman sat again to wait.
After an hour,the operation was finally over. Doctor came out and said-we have did our job. Now we have to wait for her to gain consciousness.what is her real condition will be known then only.
Raman -how much time it will take to gain her consciousness.
Doc-lets see. I think it will take atleast 24 hours. Saying so he went to his cabin.
Soon ishita was shifted in cabin. Everyone was sitting there waiting for her to gain consciousness. Mihir brought food for everyone but no-one had it.
At night, everyone was sleeping while Raman was sitting beside ishita looking at her waiting for her to gain consciousness when her fingers moved.
Raman looked at her and saw her eyes were opening. He got up and ran to call doctor.
He came running and checked ishita.
Doc-she is improving. very soon she will be good. He said making raman smile.
Doctor went out while Raman went to ishita. He caressed her face softly and hugged her tight crying bitterly.
Raman -thank god u r safe ishita, tum nahi jaanti main kitna darr gayi tha. I was half dead seeing u like this. Tum nahi jaanti how much I love u jaan. He was crying and saying when she said-stop ur acting raman. Mujhe bas chot lagi hai, meri yaaddasht nahi gayi hai. I remember u told mihir that u don't love me. She said and tears escape her eyes while she was looking at him blankly.
