Hello everyone,
I have started working on Vegas Pro since months and thought of doing some Tutorials about it as I got to know some things about the Program.
Have fun! :)
PS:-It's very detailed and good for beginners.
Using: Sony Vegas Pro 14.0
(Download it on it's original page!)
Step 1: Open Video on Sony VegasSo, first of all. Open Sony Vegas Pro and open any Video of your choice.

The next you have to do is, check the red marked buttons (on picture above). You have to understand these and have the once clicked which you think you need.
That's why I am going to explain you what these signs means.
When you have this one clicked

means:
Whenever you crop & delete a part of your video & sound, the next part will shift to the left to the deleted part's place.
This one

means:
Drag an event so that it overlaps another event on the same track. A crossfade is automatically added to transition smoothly between the two events.
This one

means:
Select this button and choose a mode from the drop-down list to automatically ripple the contents of the timeline following an edit after adjusting an event's length, cutting, copying, pasting or deleting events.
There are many more buttons, and you can get to know more about them and about the program here:
Vegas Pro User ManualsStep2: Adding ColoringWhen you have added your Video. On right side, you can see 2 Buttons. Only 1 is important for us now.
The one which is marked red on picture below.

Click to Evet-FX.
This window will pop up.

So.. here are all the colorings which you can use for your video. BUT!!!
This will be added only for that video! You want to use the same coloring, and you don't want to do the coloring all over again for every video? Then use this step:

On the left side you have one more Event-FX button. The left button is for "all" the events and the right one is only for "that" event!
I mostly use the left one. So, click to that one.
The same Window will open again. You can click on any of the colorings and then click to "OK".

And now you can edit your Video Coloring however you like to.
I have seen some Videos and downloaded 1 coloring pack from a Youtube Video.
Here is the video
YoutubeI have downloaded that one on the Video and it was nice... Try your own coloring or download them. Following their instructions..
And this is all from me for now.
I will be back with more Tutorials on Sony Vegas Pro. Just let me know if you have some problems regarding this, I will be glad if I could help. :)
Next Tutorial will be about "How to do smoothly transition on Sony Vegas Pro".
Take care.
