Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra reunite for Dibakar Banerjee's next.

Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra managed
to impress both the critics and the audience
with their stellar act in Habib Faisal's
Ishaqzaade, five years back. The movie
marked Arjun's debut in Bollywood whereas
Parineeti won a special mention at the
National Film Awards.
Now, according to a report in a popular
tabloid, both Arjun and Parineeti are all set
to reunite on the big screen for Dibakar
Banerjee's next.
Touted to be an action-romance, the film
has been in the pipeline for almost six
months now. Dibakar caught up with Arjun
for the first narration in November last year.
A source close to the film informed the
tabloid, "Arjun had loved the script and
given his nod but had not signed on the
dotted line. Dibakar was still working on the
final draft and wanted Parineeti as the
leading lady. By January, both the actors
were onboard."
Reportedly, Arjun plays a Haryanvi police
inspector in the movie.
The dark gritty thriller was earlier expected
to kick off in mid-2017 with the prep for the
movie beginning next month. The film is set
in North India and both Arjun and Parineeti
are excited to work together again.
Meanwhile, currently, Arjun is celebrating
the success of his last release Half Girlfriend
which hit the screens last week. He also has
Mubarakan in his kitty which will release on
July 28.
Parineeti Chopra, on the other hand, has
Golmaal Again up for a release next. She is
the new entrant in the fourth installment of
the Golmaal series that stars Ajay Devgn,
Arshad Warsi, Tabu, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal
Kemmu and others in the lead. The movie is
being helmed by Rohit Shetty and releases
on Diwali 2017.
