I want to meet you right now! Arnav remembered Khushi's words over the phone call a couple of minutes ago. What had happened to her? Why did she seem so tensed? Arnav couldn't understand. She didn't say anything specific. But her trembling voice and her stuttering words disturbed him. Why does she want to meet me so urgently? I must talk to her again! Arnav dialled Khushi's number from the call logs.

"Are you alright?

"Yes, I am fine. I just... just felt like meeting you...

"Anything serious? You can tell me, Khushi...

"It can't be told over the phone. As you said earlier, we will anyways be meeting at the jewellery shop for buying our engagement rings

"Are you sure you don't want to tell anything right now?

"You will be there, right?

"So desperate to meet me, are you? Arnav teased Khushi. But she remained silent. Arnav sighed. "Don't worry Khushi, we will be meeting there in only a couple of hours, okay?

"Hmm... See you!

Khushi's eyes searched desperately for Arnav as she entered the jewellery shop along with her parents. Arnav had messaged Khushi on reaching the shop. Where are you Arnav? Khushi's restlessness was clearly visible on her face. "Hi she heard a familiar voice from behind... a voice that soothed her. She turned to see the person she was waiting to meet... Arnav! Her eyes sparkled in the wetness they were bearing of the relief of finally having Arnav with her.

The parents greeted each other. "Come! Let's have a look at the rings said Arnav's mom as she led the others to the counter.

Everyone was busy looking at and admiring the beautiful rings the sales person was displaying. Arnav and Khushi stood side-by-side trying out different rings. Arnav could see that something was disturbing Khushi. He knew that Khushi wanted to talk to him but was not able to due to the presence of their parents. She needed some moments in private with Arnav to speak up.

"Umm... Why don't you check out the rings here... Khushi and I will just check the rings over there be back he said pointing at the other corner of the showroom. "Come Khushi! he said holding her hand and taking her away from their parents as their parents smiled seeing the lovely couple.

Ensuring that they were out of their parents' sight, Arnav finally asked, "What's the matter, Khushi?

Khushi told him about a friend of hers who had been married since just more than six months and was now seeking a divorce.

Arnav laughed. "You are tensed because of this?

"It's not funny!

Arnav was surprised by Khushi's seriousness. "So you think that this can happen with us, do you?

Khushi didn't want to say it. She just looked at Arnav as her innocence made its way to her eyes in the form of tiny tears.

"You are too cute! said Arnav smiling at his Khushi. "Do you think our bond is so weak to be broken by some silly quarrels?

Khushi nodded in "no.

"Do you think we will be able to stay away from each other ever, whatever may happen?

Khushi gulped hearing the question as her eyes brimmed with tears.

Arnav stepped closer. "Nothing can separate us Khushi, we are perfect for each other he said waiting for Khushi to look up into his eyes. "Just perfect! he whispered sealing his words with an assuring smile.

Khushi moved ahead to hug Arnav but suddenly stopped looking at the people around. She realised they both were not alone. She quickly wiped off her tears before they could escape her eyes. Sniffing, she said, "Let's go...

Arnav knew she was feeling a lot better now. Both walked back to where their parents were busy choosing rings for them.

"Here they come! said Khushi's father happily.

Everyone showed them the rings which were liked by all. Arnav and Khushi had to make a choice now to finalize the rings. Everyone was pleasantly surprised to see that Arnav and Khushi had liked the same pair of rings. Both of them slid the respective rings into their own fingers to check out how they looked. Keeping their hands beside each other, both looked at the rings with excitement.

"How do they look, my future wife? Arnav asked secretly.

"Just perfect! replied Khushi blushing as she looked at Arnav.

And Khushi's father did not miss to capture this perfect moment onto his cell phone.
