Today's episode was just unbearable. The only time I got happy was when Jagan gave Amba the money, even though he was doing it just to find out her secret.
This Sakshi already disgusts me. She and Raj are made for each other. They both think that it's perfectly acceptable to take 'revenge' by pretending to love a girl and then ditching her after marrying her.
Daddy Ji? Seriously? And buying him a present too? Overkill. They're a perfect bahu sasur jodi.
She claims that she loves Raj blah blah blah but she's already standing behind windows and eavesdropping. Don't know about love but there's definitely no trust there.
Jhoota shaadi? Please. What's false about it? Was the priest false? Were the mantras false? Didn't they do the pheras? The sindoor? The mangalsutra? Wow, sounds like a real marriage to me. It's probably legally, morally and religiously binding as well. Does Raj think that just because he burnt the mangalsutra it means he's gained an automatic annulment or something?
Raj. What to say about him. Why does he blame Preet for her zabardasti or whatever when he's the one who tricked her into marrying him? He's the one who arranged the priest, the temple and everything. If he wanted to marry Sakshi so badly, he should have arranged a fake priest or something so that it would actually be a false marriage.
Yes, he looks very happy at the prospect of marrying Sakshi but why? He just kept postponing marriage and then ditched her to get to Gaguwal. After that, he forgot about her. He was asking Mohini where he'd find a girl to convict Preet that she (the girl) is his one true love. If he even remembered Sakshi, he would have immediately thought of her. Instead he was totally shocked when walked into his house. It was as if he'd seen a ghost or something. Mad.
I don't know what's going on in his head. He's already so confusing and without any monologues or even a scene where he was by himself (so he can have flashbacks) there's no way of telling what his intentions are. I don't think he loves Sakshi; he's not even capable of loving someone. If he even cared for Sakshi, he would let her go. Instead, he's using her to remove Preet from his life. I know that Sakshi agreed to help him but he's deceiving her by not confessing his true feelings i.e. that he doesn't love her and probably never did. If she agreed to help him after knowing the full truth then, and only then, would he not be using her.
Preet. Poor Preet. She's got just one person who supports her but even Amrit can't tell her what Raj's intentions are. Being an FL, Preet will not leave when she ought to so she's got tough times coming up ahead. I can't see her in prolonged pain though. I just love her too much as a character.
Mohini. She was quick to protest the idea of Raj and Sakshi marrying so soon. My guess is that she wants the both of them to be kicked out of the house before they marry. She wants them and Amrit to go off back to Delhi and for Preet to just get lost so that Nihaal becomes heir once more She's playing all of them and in today's episode, Raj was looking to her for guidance like a son does to his mother. Raj is an idiot and Mohini knows it.
I guess the days of kitchen politics are here. The usual kitchen politics is between saas bahu or jethani devrani but here it's between two sautans. God give me strength.
Precap - Over at the Pawania's, it's all about Jagan finding out Amba's secret. Looks like Amba really needs a new mobile because she keeps using the landline. That's risky.
Over at the Bajwa's, it's revealed that Raj is indeed the one to tie Preet to the chair to show her how weak she is. Yeah, mate, go ahead and make that mistake. Don't you know your wife by now? She'll get out of it and show you up like she always does.
I noticed that Raj was dressed up in the precap. Are his wedding preparations coming up already? They've already done the sagai so what's next? He needs to slow down. He just got married like three weeks ago.
Note: Since Ramadan starts tomorrow, I won't be able to watch TV until after I break my fast which is around nine o clock. It airs here in the UK at half six so I'm going to be watching three to four hours after I usually do. I'll still have the discussion thread going but I'll only be able to upload my thoughts on each episode after ten o clock.
