Next morning, raman got up feeling hot in his air conditioned room only to see him sleeping with in between piles of blankets hiding in it.
He got up and throw the blankets off the bed and sat on the bed.
He held his head and said-what a bad day it was, I met a ghost no not ghost but spirit, or whatever she was. But god it was terrible, the way that truck drove over her and she was still standing there. It was unbelievable. My god I was just stunned. Woh bhootni thi, I was checking out a bhootni since two days. Saying so he remembered how he met or say saw her two days ago.
FLASHBACK
Raman was going to a meeting with mihir when he saw her for the first time. She was standing in the corner of the road, she was wearing a pink formal shirt with black formals . Her hair was tied in a pony while she was looking here and there like she was searching for someone.
Raman got lost in her and said-wow, what a beauty. He said looking at her.
Mihir saw at the direction and said-kaun bhai, Kahan.
Raman looked at him and said-r u blind mihir. See that side, that girl in pink shirt with formals. How beautiful she is, I think she is searching someone, stop the car and let's ask her what's the matter.
Mihir -at first I can't see any girl here and secondly I am not going to stop the car as we r getting late for the meeting. Client has already called many times. He said sternly while Raman made a dirty face and said-andha kahin ka, Itni sundar ladki nahi dikh rahi and on top of that he is not ready to stop the car. Paap chadega tujhe mihir, paap. He said dramatically making mihir smiled.
Mihir-kitna bhi drama kar lo bhai, I am not going to stop the car. Saying so he passed ishita while Raman turn back to look at her.
The meeting got over and raman -mihir was coming back on the same way few hours back and raman saw her still standing there in same position, just her kajal was smudged and she was looking tired. He so wanted to stop the car for her but mihir didn't stopped the car that time also.soon raman reached home and went to his room. He settled down on the bed try to take some rest when her innocent face flashed infront of his eyes. He got up at once and thought-what was wrong with her, why she was standing there since so long. For whom she was waiting for why she was so sad and disturbed and why in earth I am so disturbed for her. Hogi koi, mujhe kya. Saying so he again closed his eyes to rest but couldn't rest. His mind was full of her only.
Even after many hours, he couldn't forget about her, so finally he went to find her. He drive to the road he saw her but couldn't find her there. He searched for her for long but couldn't get her, so finally came back to home and slept.
Next day, he saw her again on some random road, she was looking more worn-out and worried then the previous day. He so want to stop the car but couldn't do it either as he was going with his clients. He went seeing her much worried and almost in tears. He completed his work asap to go to her expecting to find her on the same place but again he didn't find her in the evening.he thought to go back to his house leaving thinking about her but god knows what made him worried for her. Like some unknown force was pushing him to her. He went to his car and start driving searching her. Don't know why he was having a strong feeling that she is in some kind of danger.
Raman -I am not getting why I am so concerned for her, kya koi mujhe bata sakta hai ek aisi ladki jisse main jaanta tak nahi uske liye kyun itna pareshan hoon main.why matarani why. He was talking to himself and was searching for her. After finding her for hours, he finally got her sitting alone in the jungle and then came to know that she is not a girl but a spirit.
FLASHBACK END
Raman ruffled his hair and said-i never knew that the girl whom I am searching like mad is actually not a girl but ghost. Kabhi socha nahi tha ki zindagi mein kabhi bhoot dekhunga aur woh bhi itni sundar bhootni. Hey matarani yeh Kahan phansa diya tune mujhe. Kahan se yeh bhootni mathe madh di mere. He was blabbering when his mother entered the room and said-lagta hai kal ki utri nahi aa tak. Lagta hai jhootiyan kha kar hi tere kaleje mein thandak lagegi. She said scolding him while Raman made a dirty face and make way to washroom.
After an hour, he got ready to go to office. He went to have his breakfast but couldn't eat as all he could see was her innocent face.
He closed his eyes in sheer irritation and said-kya ho raha hai mere saath, why I am not able to forget about her. I just wanna throw her out of my mind, god help me. He prayed to god for nth time and went out taking his laptop bag.
He settled in his car and take driver with him as today he is not in state of mind to think straight. Driver was driving while Raman was lost in his thoughts. That's when the car stopped at the signal and he saw her again standing on the road.
Raman hide behind the window seeing ishita standing on the traffic signal looking here and there may be searching for him only.
Raman said to driver -hey drive fast, jaldi se niklo yahan se.
Driver-how can I drive sir, red signal hai.
Raman closed his eyes and prayed to matarani-hey matarani please mujhe iss bhootni se bacha lijiye,i promised naa to keep fast. Please save me. He was saying when the signal turned green.
Raman thanked matarani and car started. He hide more behind the window and was passing beside her when he heard her saying-raman, where r u. Please don't hide from me. I need ur help, please raman come to me. She was saying and crying looking inside each car to find raman. When his car crossed beside her.
Raman felt bad for her, he turned to see her standing on the signal all lost crying while cars were driving over her.
Raman turned his head and said driver to drive as fast as he can. He nodded and fasten the speed. Raman was trying hard to overlook the pain in her eyes but couldn't. At last he opened his eyes and said-stop the car.
Driver-ji.
Raman -yes, I said stop the car.
He nodded and stopped the car.raman came out of the back seat and said settling on the wheels after driver moved-u go home ,I will go by myself.
Driver-but sir u wanted, raman cut him in between and said-told u naa,u go home. He said giving him a five hundred ruppes note.
Driver nodded and went taking a cab while Raman turned the car and drive towards her praying her to be there only.
