The path ahead was empty, she glanced at huge farm house which she lived until now. Few minutes back she thought her worries were no longer, Can cherish beautiful life with him along there little princess. She is wrong fate again dragged her out of her beautiful reality with tight slap.
She didn't cried, her promise to him all ways made her get stronger in every path no matter how tough it might be. Geet pattered mansee head lovingly tightening her hold, her little princess is the only one whom she can relate as hers now.
She is not angry on anyone, Perhaps all had right to know the truths when they loved her like anything. She is late in sharing her past?? The question bothered her but fact is she never get chance to open up.. or say she couldn't gather guts .. A fear of losing all stopped her, now the damage was done.
The setting sun indicating in no time the darkness fill up her path, she had no energy to walk at least. Gathering her drained out energy she took few steps. Geet jumped in fear when a Merced stopped in front of her suddenly. She signed in relief when she saw Raj opening car door for her.
"Mam please hop in I will drop you were ever you want" Geet saw him looking down while saying those words. She is soo touched for his actions... She didn't budged from her place. After what ever happened just few min back.. Did she had any right to accept whats coming on her plate??.
Raj understood her dilemma, "Mam it's my responsibility to keep an eye on you under maan sir's absence, At least for him please allow me to do my duty" Raj requested with low tone, He wished it will work. She smiled sadly understanding his calculated words, Raj helped to set mansee in car first geet settled in keeping mansee's head in her lap.
The drive was silent, She is unsure where she should go now?.. She is in no mood to move in that witch hell again. Raj haven't asked anything more over it will take few hours to get away from farm house premises , He preferred giving her time to think. She fell in to sleep due to tiredness un known to her.
The sleep was not peaceful like previous night, She kept on murmuring maan's name thought out the journey..
The heavy light of sun makes her open lazy eyes with jerk. She is comfy bed tucked neatly with bright sheet. The surroundings were not at all looking familiar. Geet got frightened.. Did she again fell in that Vidyut's hands??. Sweat cover her face within no time she started shivering like dead leaf.
Hugging herself tightly she tried to calm down her thundering heartbeat, Nothing helping her either.
She is too lost to observe things in the room and photos that were hung on the wall. She closed her eyes tight when she heard door clicking sound, in fear of facing worst.
"Careful its too hot jal jayegi" Geet heard some lady voice much to her surprise and it was soo familiar. "Arey baba chodna yaar I will do it" She again heard the lady voice.
Now it was crystal clear she signed in relief and next voice just made her open eyes hurriedly. "Maa maa peeni peeni" Geet saw her little mansee carrying a big tray in her tiny hands was coming in her way. "Mansee sun meri maa you cant do it" Sia begged her with cry face.
Mansee glared at sia copying maan with her tiny angelic eyes. Sia laughed out loud that's when geet noticed sia other than mansee. Geet cursed her stupidity consciously checked her surroundings.
The room was filled with all types of teddies of all sizes, different types of cartoon toys, and all set of makeup accessories. Geet smiled as she couldn't see this few mins back, The room looking like 5 years old girl pinkish room but not like 23 years old sia's room.
Geet glanced at mansee when she pocked her to gain her attention, Mansee placed the tray in front of geet sitting comfortably in her lap. Geet fell speechless, Mansee kissed her on lips grinning ear to ear. Another part of her sounded shocked and dumb folded, Sia laughed looking at geet's facial expression.
"Don't be too much shocked she is your daughter after all" Geet heard Ritz voice who entered with glass of milk and coffee for sia. Geet expectantly stared at door hoping to see aniee.
Sia understood her and replied "She is not here" Geet's face fell down, It hurt her badly now. She didn't show that on her face..
Ritz can see the pain on her face, she tried to distract geet's mind. "One thing changed completely yesterday "Ritz comment made geet to stare at her immediately. Ritz smiled naughtily "Ab aap meri bhabhi hogaye hai Babhiii jiii" Ritz stressed each word with mean look teasing geet.
Shock and surprise was written all over geet's face.. Umm yes her tiny brain recalled faint memories of last night which she failed to notice when her chutki told her about marriage stuff. Its awkward situation for geet totally, nor she is happy or sad something stirred in her.
Red hue covered her face she never dreamed about being married or having beautiful life ahead until now. The marriage is such divine wish for every girl. Look what happened when it comes to her. It mocked her fate like as usual. Sia glared at ritz for rising that topic, Ritz looked away feeling sad.
"Acha geet leave all these but you know after yesterday's night the thing changed completely was mansee care and love towards you" Geet smiled weakly. "She accepted you completely its looks like" Ritz sat beside geet muffling her hair lovingly. Sia explained how they instructed Raj to drom them at her place and when mansee woke up she just sat beside geet kissing and hugging without any break.
"Seems like princess getting what is reality now a days" Ritz said and continued "Your hug mad wonders must say" Ritz eyes got teary recalling how Ranjith throw geet with mansee, How geet projected mansee with tight hug tucking her close.
"Freshen up geet and use the clothes in the closet I wish they will fit for you" Sia left the room making sure geet had her breakfast after lots of efforts.
"How is she? Is she crying?? Kuch kaya ya nahi?" Aniee pounced on sia and ritz when they came to the room she is waiting along with Amy.
"If you love her this much why can't you go ask directly" Sia mocked her. "Sia.." Amy firm voice made her shut. Amy side hugged her knowing her condition.
"Arey yaar she never said she believed all these totally but be practical being humans we only believe what we saw and heard same happened with aniee." Amy said with serious tone.
"Still I am not gonna be with you aniee you care about her soo much why can't you talk to her directly?" Amy questioned aniee.
"Come aniee let's talk to her right now and finish this off" Sia took aniee hands in hers, "Sia you know how much pain I am in right now?" Aniee eyes beamed with tears. "It's been years we are together. I asked her numerous times she never shared anything. I all ways fought with my own family just be with her. I cared for her I loved her like my own. She never cared to open up" Aniee low and deep voice made all shut off.
They both needed time to clear off the mist, All concluded. "Don't think I believed those stuffs blindly I am hurt because she never shared anything. You know why I am here just to make sure she is fine" Aniee grabbed her car keys to leave from there.
"I will definitely come back and this time she will answer" Aniee last sentence made all smile.
2 days passed by, Maan never called her due to change in the timings thinking she might be sleeping, but he made sure to leave messages in between. He laughed when Adi informed him about marriage ficaso. He didn't thought it's a big issue to deal with when he is not even having proper time for sleep and breathe peacefully.
She is in safe hands of his family friends he is least bothered about that stupid fake news. He wondered who dared to publish this openly. He decided to deal with it ones he is back from London if it is serious ficaso to any.
A Week passed by nothing changed so the tension and thickness of situation increased.
Geet as per sia request stayed in her place, but she never talked with any and none bothered her thinking she might need time, In no way they wants to hurt her either. None knew the silence and insecurities probing in her heart again with maan absence. He never talked with her but yes those few messages not helping either.
Not like she never tried to make call, She did but he never picked up if he took her call also it would hung up after his brief words how much he is missing her. Geet was revealed and happy only a bit, The news channels and magazines only filling there pages with their own cooked up story regarding their marriage. Geet felt bad his name being de famed like that, the soul reason is herself only.
On other hand her assignments and ongoing projects were eating her brain completely, Maan even messaged her "don't bother about marriage thing I will take care. Finish of your assignments Raj will shadow you"
Geet called aniee countless times every time her mobile will be in switch off mode or Ranjith will lift the call much to her annoyance. For god sake she is not running away she is ready to open up but people were not listening to her. She is getting frustrated totally with things going out of hands.
No matter how much strong she wants to stay, still her nights were going sleep less so the night mares if she get sleep luckily. Mansee was looking pale now a days, Geet freaked out when she fainted suddenly while playing itself.
Amy and ritz checked her they made geet believe mansee is fine, her inner instincts said something is not good.
It's been 2 weeks now, Geet did her recent photo shoot with lots of pressure from producers. Not like she cannot back off but she wants break from all the happenings.
It's again another fresh day geet smiled happily after ages seeing his message he would be flying back tonight.
Geet decided strongly will met up with him in airport itself and share her un finished past with him. The end of her sorrow's and pain , Her chutki ummm she know its not easy task but she can monify her. Geet was soo sure about it as sia aready hinted Aniiee is no more angry, but Ranjith and Dev completely blocking her to meet geet specially.
Geet is not surprised at all , She knew his family loves him allot. The thing bothered her soo much is Ranjith's demeanour towards her. The hatred and the pain in his eyes. She was clue less about everything, she just hoped everything will go well ones she met him.
Geet in her usual GK style made her entry and all fell silent pretending to be busy with their works. Ones she passed the path she can hear the murmurs, She wondered if these people had any other work or not. It's been weeks still people were back of their marriage issue it irked her too much.
Well she is least bothered about everything as he is with her now. Geet finished her work she is truly surprised to see aniee waiting for her in the parking lot.
Aniee tapping something on her phone leaning on geet's car, she lost balance suddenly when someone hugged her out of blue scaring hell out of her. She breathed in relief when she heard "I missed you chutki" lines from geet.
"Well im not less bhabhi jee but yaar are you planning to break my bones?" Aniee said with silly tone, Gee smiled weakly broke the hug looking everywhere than at aniee. Aniee can see the tension and un easiness between them, She is not at all liking it.
Aniee made geet sit in the car drove away without any word, the drive was silent none spoke anything.
Aniee stopped when they reached humming hearts which is their favourite spot, Park was was looking quite busy today with lots of people and kids enjoying running here and there. Both preferred lonely place sat looking to oblivion.
"I know I am not worthy of sorry even but my sincere request please forgive me" Aniee said with tears in her eyes. Geet hugged her soothing on her back, "Shhh by saying sorry your are making me as outsider, We are family " Geet's words made her feel more guilty.
Sad part she is still not sure if geet is guilty or not, after she left sia's flat on that day she thought with cool mind and clear brain.
She is such fool to even think about her pari in that way. For even doubting about geet . "Pari I was hurt deeply as you never shared anything with me. Those proofs and everything and you never even shared about manse also" Aniee asked with low tone looking straight in to geet eyes.
"I had some bitter past which you can't hear" Geet's reply terrified aniee. "Jo bhi ho batado muje I will try to help you please pari" Aniee pleaded she don't want any more secrets in between them now.
"I am ready to share per tum sunneki tayar nahi" Geet recalled how aniee avoided her. "Do you think I will do it its dev bro and papa they house arrested me. Thanks to maa and daadi I came out today with lots of efforts" Aniee said with sad tone. Geet hugged aniee tight crying her heart out "Thanks for coming back" Geet said with happy tears.
Geet leaned on aniee shoulders holding her hand in hers tightly, Aniee can see how much weak and pale geet was looking, the heavy makeup of GK look couldn't hide the geet from her eyes.
Both sat silently none realized when the time passed the surroundings went dark.
"Pari take your own time and I will be there all ways for you remember it" Aniee said as she don't want to hurry up things. "I am already late chutki let me tell you my story" Geet took deep breathe to set her mind strong.
She opened her mouth to say something but stopped when aniee mobile rang flashing Amy's name. Aniee answered the call wondering why he is calling as their gang already know she would be with geet now.
Geet stared at aniee with questioning guage when her expressions changing drastically while talking on call. Aniee moved few feets away came running back putting her mobile on back pocket taking out car keys.
"Pari please don't ask anything just come with me please" Aniee finally spoke after lots of questions from geet.
Geet stared at aniee blankly when they reached Khurana hospitals and therir gang waiting for them along with dev even. Amy took all to ICU she was terrified to see mansee on bed again with soo many machines surrounding her.
"Geet please don't come to conclusions now we are trying our best to save her" Amy said with heavy tone which left geet in tears. She haven't spoken to any stood by the door looking at mansee.
No thought coming in her brain except her little princess her baby. How foolish she could even think of her worries will be erased today. She saw mansee fighting for her life while doctors trying their best to save her.
Whom she can blame? Who will listen to her questions and answer them? God? A mocking smile came to her lips with that word.
Hours passed there mansee it still un conscious, She saw amy and dean running in the whole hospital instructing and keep check on mansee. Sia and meer tried to feed geet something but un successful. Its past mid night but none had heart to go leaving geet like that.
Few more hours passed sia checked time when she got disturbed in sleep its early morning hours, She checked geet who stood in same position from all most 10hours.
She saw dean and amy approaching geet she too joined with them.
"Care to explain Mr. Malik and Mr. Dean" Geet demanded for answer rudely. Day back amy assured her everything is ok the how come mansee is again on same boat?.
"Geet " Amy shouted unable to tolerate her voice but stopped seeing unshed tears in her eyes.
"GK please listen to me we thought we can save but mansee condition is getting out of control now" Dean looked away unable to meet accusing eyes of geet. Amy feeling too much guilty for lying to geet , He don't want to made her go through more pain as she is already sailing on needles path.
"What do you mean getting out of control" Aniee shouted unable to digest the fact, Sia camled her down before she do any stupid act.
"I beg you all please save her you are all doctors only right, Please save my princess" Geet broke down fell on ground with thump.
"Geet we tried you saw it right" Ritz tried to explain. Geet snapped her hand away "I want my baby please do something, She is my reason to be alive still I need my baby" Geet's loud cries echoed in the floor.
None saw a person watching them and listening everything with shocking and painful expressions. "Bhai?" Dev's voice made all glance in the direction he is looking with terrifying expression.
Maan stood there motionless, anyone can see a mother pain for her baby looking at geet state. Geet saw him standing there, She ran to him hugged him tightly crying her heart out. Her vision got blurred due to constant crying and sleep less hours.
She is too lost to notice, He is not even reacting or reciprocating to her touch and hug which is impossible.
"Aap bolo na inko muje meri baby chahiye please ask them to save her" he heard her barbering hugging him tightly. He recalled the day he told his wish to adopt mansee.
Maan guessed may be she already started accepting mansee as there baby. He is lost in her calculations , Geet broke the hug and her next set of words proved him wrong.
"How a mother can stay without her baby please ask them to save my baby, You know how I felt when I carried her first time in my arms , She looked like cotton ball pinkish very tiny . She is the reason for me to live till I met you. Aap ki waje se mai geet bangaya ab muje kuch nahi chahiye sirf aap aur meri baby" She leaned on his heart wetting his shirt completely.
Maan couldn't listen her any words after that, She kept on saying things un known to the damage.
He broke the hug harshly, the look on his face she couldn't relate to anything. He left from there leaving her shocked without glancing at her back for ones.
The realization hitched she stood there dumb folded "He left?" She thought it pinched her heart.
