Chapter 42A: (Written by Cheju, theres two parts to his)

It was the day of colours for the groom and the bride.

Haldi day where they would apply colours to make them look more beautiful. Could this day prove to be more beneficial for SidNi?

There was 3 hours left for Haldi.

Roshni was freaking out. She was looking for her green salwar. It was a green sparkly salwar, the same one she wore years ago. That was always of great memory to her.

You know why? Because that's the one she wore, when someone saved her from falling.

She always cherished that memory and kept it close to her heart and decided that if one day she finds the guy who saved her, she would thank him for the rest of her life.

(For readers who don't remember..Whoever remembers can skip the blue part)

How would she know that, that guy was right in front of her? Will she ever come to know? Would that be the thing that pushes her right off her edge and finally have full love and no hatred?

She emptied her cupboard fully but still hadn't found it.

Simran told her to clean her cupboard and give her any clothes, she doesn't use to give to charity as this was a good thing to do at a wedding.

But when she cleaned it, she couldn't found her salwar.

She nearly cried. Siddarth entered the room.

Roshni had her mouth shaped like a pout.

"Awh what's wrong with my pyaari biwi today?", he cupped her face.

"I lost it", she looked down and a tear slipped down her cheek.

"Lost what?", Siddarth was confused.

Roshni then suddenly saw their servant.

"Roopa listen", she called out.

She turned around. "Yes ma'am".

Siddarth pulled Roshni closer.

"Why did you call her? Let us romance in peace yaar", he smiled and wiped his nose against her nose.

"Siddarth stop it. She's looking", she struggled to get out of his hold and looked up to Roopa who was laughing making her feel embarrassed.

"Roopa you can go", Siddarth ordered her.

"No Roopa stay", Roshni continued but Siddarth put his hand on her mouth.

Roopa went away.

Siddarth picked up Roshni in his arms and placed her on the bed.

Aahatein kaisi yeh aahatein
Sunta hoon aaj kal aye dil bata

"Roshni my kiss is still due", he whispered nearly with a seducing tone.

Dastakein dete hain dastakein
Kyun ajnabi se pal aye dil bata

He pinned her down when she tried to move.

Kuch toh hai jo neend aaye kam
Kuch toh hai jo aankhe hai nam

"S..Siddarth", her voice slowly trailed away with him being so close to her.

Kuch toh hai jo tu keh de toh
Haste haste marr jaaye hum

Their fingers intertwined and were joint together as he came closer and closer and closer kissing her the side of her neck.

Mujhse zyada mere jaisa
Koi hai toh hai tu

He left wet kisses on her neck. His hands left her hands but she continued laying there with no reaction emerging herself into the moment.

Phir na jaane dil mera kyun
Tujhko na de sakun..

They were so silent, they could hear each others breathing and each heartbeat was going faster than the other.

Kuch toh hai jo dil ghabraaye
Kuch toh hai jo saans na aaye

He kept one of his hands on her back and the other on her face.

Kuch toh hai jo hum honthon se
Kehte kehte keh naa paaye

He slowly explored her face making her tilt her face sideways deeps into the pillow.

Jo humaare darmiyaan hai
Isko hum kya kahein

She was blushing and breathing hard at the same time.

Ishq kya hai ik lehar hai
Aao iss mein bahein

Roshni was then suddenly reminded of what she was looking for.

Kuch toh hai jo hum hain khoye
Kuch toh hai jo tum na soye

Siddarth was too focused on their romance that he didn't realise Roshni was trying to get out of his hold.

Kuch toh hai jo hum dono yun
Haste haste itna roye

Roshni finally gave him a hard push and he felt on the ground.

Roshni bursted into laughter.

Siddarth laughed along with her.

Siddarth pushed her towards him making her fall right on his lap.

Roshni got up and ran away.

"Aaye Haaye, yeh mere jaan hi le legi yaar", He leaned against their night-table.

Rahul was talking with Soniya on the phone.

"I know I miss you too Soniya".

"What do you mean Soniya.?, she said angrily.

"Well that's your name isn't it".

"No its not", she hanged up the phone.

Rahul was sitting down totally confused.

"Aargh why are girls so confusing", he fumed.

"Tell me about it", Siddarth said from behind.

"Tujhe kya hua".

Siddarth came and sat beside Rahul.

"This Roshni yaar. Sometimes when I go close to her I see love in her eyes but sometimes I see that twitch like she loves me but also hates me. Its so confusing!!", he moaned.

"Give her some time. There's gonna be a time when you'll see only love for you in her eyes and nothing else", he patted Siddarth.

"Yeah I guess. And you why are you troubling my saali sahiba?".

"Seriously? All I need was say I miss you Soniya' and then started her explosion".

"Stupid. Don't you see calling her Soniya was your big mistake", he laughed.

"Matlab?", Rahul couldn't understand what he was talking about.

"Matlab don't you usually call her Jellybean or something like that?".

"Wait she's angry at me because of that? How stupid", Rahul sighed.

Siddarth laughed at him.

Roshni then entered the room with two cups of coffee.

She gave them coffee and had another cup for herself.

She sat down and they were talking.

Soniya was trying out different bridal dresses for her wedding.

Mona was helping her.

"Mom none of these are good", she complained.

Mona sighed. "Tera kuch nahi ho sakta".

DD came along and stared down at all the dresses.

"Of course she won't like all these dresses. After all, she only wants expensive things".

Soniya started becoming angry with her. This was one of the reasons why she hated DD since she was a child.

DD always misunderstood her and said she only came into this family for money not realising she came when she was only a child.

"DurgadeviJI", She added at the end making it sound more firm.

"I don't care what you think, now if you'll excuse me, I have some work to attend", DD interrupted her and said sternly.

DD went upstairs.

"Why does she have to be here? I hate her so much. She's such a bitch. Such an...".

She was about to finish her sentence when she felt a tight slap on her cheek.

Her mom had slapped her.

"Seriously mom? You slapped me because of her?".

"Shut up", Mona bua shouted.

Roshni and the two boys were talking, joking and laughing.

Then Roshni saw Roopa again.

She stopped her.

"Roopa did you see my green sparkly salwar suit by any chance?".

Siddarth stood right up from the bed.

His eyebrows tensed and he started swallowing heavily.

"Green sparkly suit", he repeated to himself.

He too was reminded of that incident.

When he saved that girl, that memory was no less special to him than to Roshni.

Rahul knew how it affected him.

Siddarth left the room.

"Isko kya hua", Roshni wondered.

"Ma'am I think I saw it in the wash. I'll check", Saying this Roopa left the room.

Roshni looked at Rahul who was clearly tensed. You could tell this by his expression and he looked down.

"Rahul whats wrong", Roshni asked him patting his shoulder.

"Nothing", he couldn't lie properly.

"Clearly you're hiding something from me bro.".

Then she started emotional blackmailing him.

"So you won't tell your sister. Looks like you never loved your sister after all", she pretended to cry.

Roshni always knew how to get things her way. It was one of her many talents.

Rahul was nervous to tell her but then started to tell her.

Here we go:

"When Siddarth was 18, he went to Dubai for his holidays. He went to the Khalifa".

This struck Roshni.

"Go on..", she said hesitantly fiddling with her hands.

"Well during this trip, he had saved a girl from falling".

"From the terrace", Roshni continued.

"But neither of them could see each others faces", she said once again.

Rahul was shocked but started smiling.

"Omg that was you", he sounded excited.

Roshni was torn by this revelation. She didn't know how to react.

On one side, she was happy she found the person but on the other hand she felt something hard in her heart nearly taking over her whole heart.

"Roshni you know how he talked about you after that?".

"He literally couldn't stop talking about you after that. He used you to call you the soft haired girl. He said your hair was so soft he wanted to dig his head in your hair".

"Wait a second? Is that why he was stammering the other day when we were playing truth or dare and he was asked did you like another girl before", Roshni realised something deep.

"Yess", Rahul was so relieved.

Roshni walked silently out of the room.

She walked in the hallways sadly.

"Why is it that everything always leads to him? Why is it that everything points to him? Why? Why? Why can't I get him out of my mind", she nearly screamed the last bit.

She always felt a void in her heart ever since she married Siddarth but was that finally filled.

How was she to know love just happens without any warning?

Everything was like filling and filling adding more love.

All these things got rid of Roshni's hatred.

She finally decided to break. She couldn't keep her feelings on her insides anymore.

She fell to the ground and cried.

"Do I love him", she asked herself desperately.

She didn't know what she felt herself.

She thought of every single memory from when she was a child up to now.

Why didn't she get that same feeling as before when she used to think of him bullying her?

"Why is this happening to me? Why are things so complicated".

She got up to get a hold of herself and wiped her tears.

Roopa came up to her and said "Ma'am I found your salwar".

She snatched it off her hand and signalled Roopa to go.

She kept the salwar close to her and savoured the moment.

Then an idea popped into her mind.

She took the salwar and walked to her room.

She peaked in to check if Siddarth wasn't there.

He wasn't in the room but he was in their bathroom.

She quickly went over and placed the salwar on the bed and ran away quietly staying behind the door to observe Siddarth's reaction when he saw the salwar.

Siddarth came out of the bathroom and he was in a green suit ready for Haldi.

He wiped his hair with the towel and threw it on the bed when he suddenly saw the salwar.

It obviously looked familiar to him and he picked it up.

"This salwar".

He breathed heavily and kept it near to his heart.

He still remembers that feeling. It was one of the first time, he felt connected to someone. The first time he felt such care towards a stranger.

Roshni watched him and how he was holding that salwar so close and so tight like he would never let it go.

She smiled and cried at the same time looking at him being so happy.

"But..But how did this salwar come here", Siddarth asked.

"Its mine", Roshni came into the room.

Roshni took it from his hands.

"Oh", he wiped his tears.

He felt stupid. "I am not a weirdo I swear! I just thought it was another salwar that I ... Leave it never mind".

How was he to know that she was the one?

Roshni smiled at his innocence.

"Why are you smiling", Siddarth asked her.

"Nothing", she replied.

"Tell me", Siddarth came near her.

The next you know Roshni was running around the room with Siddarth chasing her around. Siddarth tickled her making her laugh.

"Stop it. Stop it Siddarth", she begged him.

They continued joking and laughing together.

Finally you could sense the change in Roshni's behaviour.

2 hours later:

Everyone was getting ready for haldi.

Roshni got ready wearing a red dark salwar. She looked fabulous in it.

Siddarth had gotten ready ages before because he also had some work to do so he wouldn't have time after to get ready.

Everyone was so excited. The last day before marriage. The last ceremony before wedding.

Two souls were going to be joint forever the next day or would it be two pair of souls?

Rahul got ready being excited wearing a black suit.

Soniya send him a message of herself wearing a yellow lehenga.

Rahul send her back "You look gorgeous jellybean and sorry for earlier".

Love emojis was sent back.

Everyone gathered up downstairs.

The pandit started doing Pooja and then requested the groom's sister to go to Soniya's house to get haldi.

"I'll do it.", Roshni called out.

She always thought of herself as being his sister so she might aswell just do this.

She took their haldi to give to Soniya and meanwhile whispered "Don't worry bro I'll take pictures and send you".

"You don't have to. I already saw her".

Roshni twisted his ears. "Damn".

And so she went.

She arrived at Soniya's house.

They hugged each other.

"One more day and we'll be together in the same house", Soniya squealed.

"I know right", Roshni said back excitedly.

"By the way, you are looking hot haan", Soniya complimented her.

"Thanks babes".

Roshni then stayed there and talked for a long time applying haldi to her.
