'Discuss it with your family and get back to me, the papers will be ready...'' Said Ishita turning from Raina and walking out

'Ishu... Ishu... Hold on...'' Said Bebe pulling her aside once they got outside

'Are you alright...'' She added

'Yeah... Please do not ask me to talk about it I won't be able to...'' Said Ishita

'Now, I have a recital to go to...''

CHAPTER FORTY NINE

The kids were excited and as usual Shagun couldn't help but show her disgust given the fact that Ishita was coming. Ruhi had been throwing a fit since they got there and she had refused to change into her costume unless Ishita got there, something that Shagun found irritating.

'This is ridiculous and we are wasting time...'' Said Shagun

'Relax... No need to hurry... She promised she will be here so she will...'' Said Romi trying to calm Ruhi's fears

'What makes you so sure...She has no reason to be here...'' Said Shagun

'Because Nanny never breaks promises... She will come... I know she will...'' Said Ruhi as she anxiously waited

Ruhi's love for her nanny was innocent with no ulterior motive. Ishita was the first person who genuinely got close to her than anyone else, even her aunt Simmi who practically raised her didn't get through her like that. She and her nanny shared a bond like no other something Simmi didn't understand. She had tried to destroy that relationship when she planned for Shagun to show up but something had gone a miss that is why the kids were now asking for Ishita, the question was what?

'Ruhi...'' Shagun called her kneeling down to where she was seated

'Why is it so important to you that Nanny comes? I can do anything she can, I mean I am your mother after all...'' She added

'Stop...'' Said Raman irritated

'I know Mama, it is just that... she was there...'' Said Ruhi

'Meaning...'' Said Shagun

'Kids used to make fun of me because...'' Said Ruhi teary

'Because Ishita was there when you weren't... Why do you think she calls her Ishima...'' Said Aditya before he stood up saying

'I think she is here...''

Shagun frowned a bit, not believing what she was hearing. In all honesty she felt a little guilty for using them this way, she was a mother and seeing them like this thinking she was about to disappear broke her heart. She was probably going to damage them for life but she needed the money by any means necessary, she needed to save him.

'Ishima...'' Said Ruhi excited as Ishita and Mark walked into the room

'Hey beautiful...'' Said Ishita lifting Ruhi in her arms as she hugged her

'I missed you...'' Said Ruhi hugging her back

'I missed you too honey, can you believe that? Me missing the mischievous you ...'' Said Ishita and Ruhi giggled

'I got the lead... Can you believe it...'' Said Ruhi

'No way... Really ...'' Said Ishita smiling as she put Ruhi down

'Yes... I swear... ' Said Ruhi

'Well, I am so proud of you...'' Said Ishita

'You took too long to show up, I thought you were not coming...'' Said Ruhi

'And miss this, no way...'' Said Ishita and Ruhi turned excited as she said

'Go on take your seats... I will go change back stage...'' And with that she grabbed her back and ran back stage

Ishita stood up forced to acknowledge everyone else in the room and as much as she didn't want to be in the same room with that crazy woman, she needed to be here to keep her promise, and in all honesty gauge how far Shagun was willing to go.

'Hello everyone...'' She said

'Hey... Glad you could make it...'' Said Romi smiling

'Mimi is in the parking lot... She said to tell you that your thing is a go... Whatever that meant ...'' Said Ishita

'Oh Yeah... Right ...'' Said Romi turning and walking out

'Hey Adi...'' Said Ishita

'Hey Nanny...'' Said Aditya with a faint smile on his face

'Ishita I just...'' Raman began but Ishita cut him off

'Can I talk to your wife in private please...'' she said

'What...'' Said Raman

'Why...'' Said Shagun

'I want to talk to you about something. Are you scared I might do harm you...'' Said Ishita

'Uhh... Yeah ...'' Said Shagun

'Oh come on... This is a kids' recital... I can't do anything traumatic here, no matter how much I want to...'' Said Ishita turning to Raman

'Do you mind?'' She added cold as it got

'Uhh no... Sure... Aditya come let us go find our seats...'' Said Raman disheartened as he took his son's hand and off they went

'If you ...'' Shagun began but before she could get her words out

Ishita walked ahead and in a few strides she was in front of Shagun grabbing her hand as she pushed her against the wall turning her hand behind he4r back.

'Stop... You are hurting me...'' Shouted Shagun

'Shhsss... No one can hear you here... I made sure of it... So Shhsshh and listen'' Said Ishita

'Please...'' Shagun pleaded as she become teary

'You and I are born from different clothes; you and I can never be on the same level let alone the same social standing. What made you think putting your filthy hands on me was okay...'' Said Ishita

'You were seducing my...'' She began and Ishita pulled her hand back again

'Ahhh please stop...'' She cried

'Respect... I swear it is something so small but people like you have never thought the need to learn it let alone understand that once you lack it, there are consequences...'' Said Ishita as she put her hand in her purse pulling Shagun's phone out

'Sit down...'' Said Ishita pulling a chair for her before she turned looking at the phone

'Oh... I see... I commend you, you came prepared. However I am good at this ...'' Said Ishita turning to her

'Where is the other phone...'' She added

'I do not know what...'' Said Shagun stammering

'You know Mark... He is a seal... Also doesn't know that there are different tolerant levels to pain. He can't process emotion therefore it will be difficult for him to tell if your actually at you peak and can't take anymore or you still need a little more beating...'' Said Ishita calmly

'Wha...'' Said Shagun scared

'Oh you don't understand... No what I mean is, he is an expert torturer... For lack of a better word, no offence Mark'' Said Ishita

'Oh none taken what so ever mam...'' Said Mark and Ishita smiled looking at Shagun

'He is also very loyal with unbelievable disappearing skills. He can wipe you from the face of the earth with anyone ever knowing or even noticing you're actually gone... I swear he is a legend...'' Said Ishita pulling Shagun's chair in front

'Do you want me to ask him to exercise his skills. He likes it a lot which is a bit disturbing. Shows the guy is a screwed up f**k'' She added

'No... Here... It is here...'' Said Shagun as she reached into her bra taking out another phone

'Ewweee gross...'' Said Ishita taking it

'Why are you doing this? Raman is my husband, you would have...'' Shagun began but Ishita cut him off

'Oh this has nothing to do with that disloyal asshole, I however have a problem with the other Bhalla, Simmi, and she is f**king up my business... No body messes with my money, hell I denied my father bone marrow because of it...'' Said Ishita as she began combing through the phone

'Wait... I know this is Simmi's number but whose is this...You called that over twenty times in the last two days... Why am curious... What are you hiding'' Said Ishita turning to Shagun and she could tell Shagun was tense

'Ohhh I stumbled on something didn't I?'' Said Ishita smiling

'Please...'' Shagun pleaded but Ishita ignored and began dialing

'Ring... Ring...'' and as soon as the line went through Shagun began to panic and tried to grab the phone from Ishita but Mark pulled her back down

'Amika...'' A male voice came through

'Amika where are you? Is everything okay? You were not supposed to be calling me today...'' Said the male voice

'Amika...'' he added keeping quite before he hang up again and when Ishita called the phone was switched off

'Ohhh this just got juicier... Who is Amika...'' Said Ishita but Shagun just kept quiet

'Uhh Boss we gotta go if we do not want any suspicion'' Sad Mark

'Alright... Leave her... However, if I as much as hear even a whiff of what happened here coming from anywhere, I swear I am going to make it my life's mission to make your life miserable... ' Said Ishita standing in front of her and looking straight in her eyes scaring the shit out of Shagun and also Mark to be fair

Shagun a bit traumatized walked out of there and made it to the hall scared to her wits that she almost wet herself. She didn't sign up for this and no one told her this Ishita Iyer person was psychotic. Ishita had literally instilled so much fear in her that this was the first time she was second guessing what she had done. Maybe she should have left a long time ago because if Ishita found Aman, that was the end of everything.

'Mam are you okay...'' Asked Mark as he walked behind Ishita who was also making her way to the hall

'Of course...'' Said Ishita calmly causing Mark to frown a bit as he looked at her

'You scared me today. The look in your eyes, it seemed like you weren't bluffing and you really wanted to hurt her...'' Said Mark

'Who said anything about me bluffing...'' Said Ishita walking like nothing happened

CHAPTER FIFTY

The show began and everyone was seated as they all waited for Ruhi to make her entrance. Raman who kept on stealing glances at Ishita had a faint smile on his face, glad that as much as she was angry with him, she still cared about his children and that meant there was a window of hope.

She honestly did not need to come to this, he was sure she had more important things to do but she had chosen to make Ruhi one of the priorities in her life and as much as it was a long shot, it meant there was a chance for him as well, or so he hoped because thinking any other way would mean giving up on her and he wasn't willing to do that.

Romi and Mihika who could see him smiling like an idiot chuckled to themselves not understanding who the great RKB would become such a juvenile when it came to Ishita. They both hoped all this misunderstanding would disappear and everything would get back to how it was supposed to be, before that imposter showed up.

Ishita had shaken Shagun, and she knew it, most of the time Shagun was on her toes, acting high and mighty like she had a card Ishita didn't because she always had Raman's backing but back there it was different. Whoever Amika was and given how terrified Shagun was, Ishita knew there was a story there but wasn't sure whether or not to pursue it.

Shagun was the mother of those two children and she loved them so much to see them get hurt because of something there mother had done in the past. She was hiding something from them there was no doubting that but Ishita didn't want to tear a family apart. In her head it felt like she would become Raina Raghav, the woman she hated so much and for her that was not an option.

Ruhi came on and everyone cheered for her and was excited as she smilingly waved to her father who seemed to be beaming with pride. Shagun was jittery and uncomfortable and it was starting to show even to her son. She kept on looking around the hall like she was expecting someone to be there, like she was looking for someone.

Because of that person who had called her and because she didn't answer, she knew there was a chance that that person would show up to check in on her and because of that she was nervous. If Raman or any of these people let alone Ishita found out who she really was, she was done for. Everything she had worked for so much comes to an end like that and the life she gave up would have been all for nothing

'Mama, are you alright...'' Aditya whispered taking his mother's hand

'Yeah... Yeah am fine...'' Said Shagun nervously

'What is up with her...'' Asked Mihika to which Romi shrugged saying

'I do not know...''

The anxiety of her waiting and waiting become too much that she excused herself and stood up walking out of the hall. Aditya being him, he was worried for his mother because he could tell she wasn't alright and was worried about something. So a few minutes after the mother walked up, he did the same

'Whoa, where are you going'' Asked Raman

'Shot call, Papa... Don't worry, I know where they are and I am coming back...'' He whispered as he stood up walking out

Shagun had made her way to the other end of the building and was standing on one of the balconies as she looked across the parking lot hoping that that person didn't show but she was wrong

'Amika...'' He called her startling her as she turned

'What the hell are you doing here?'' Said Shagun

'Am sorry when you called and did not pick up I thought you were giving the signal...'' He said

'Are you stupid? Did I tell you that I was in danger, why are you so useless...'' She said angrily taking his hand as she led him out

'You need to leave right now...'' She said

As she grabbed the man's hand, she walked right passed Aditya who was coming from the lavatories and unlike her, he recognized her.

'Mama...'' He said almost in a soft whisper and curious as to what was happening, he followed them to the parking lot

'Hey why are you so angry right now'' He asked as if surprised

'Because you show up at times I do not need you and mess everything up'' She said

'Excuse me, you called and didn't say a word and the signal is very clear. We always said once that happens it meant you wanted out and so I showed up. Why are you getting mad at me?'' He said angrily

'Everyone is in there... That crazy ass nanny and my husband's family are in there...'' She said causing the man to take a step back almost baffled as he said

'My husband's family...''

'Well you know what I mean...'' She said nervously

'I do not think I do... Have you started developing feeling of that man...'' He said

'Do not be stupid... That is ridiculous...'' She said

'Then...'' He said

'I have to stay in character or my mannerisms change and we lose everything. He is always looking out for when I mess up because he wants to get rid of me...'' Said Shagun leaning in as she hugged him

'I am sorry... I am just so worried because we are so close and yet every time it seems like we are making progress something happens...'' she added and he hugged her back

'I hate that you are doing this... I feel so incompetent and useless...'' He said letting go as he added

'What kind of husband would allow his wife to go and play house with another man? Every time your there, I feel like I want to die inside...''

'I know but I promise you what you are worried about is not going to happen. All I am thinking about is Aman and how we need to make sure he gets better... That is all...'' Said Shagun

'Don't you feel sorry for this kids you all are lying to...'' he said

'I do... More than you know and as a mother I feel like I want to drown every time they look at them with those innocent eyes and call me Mama but what can I do. Because of my Aman I have to be cold hearted...'' She said teary

'I feel like crap for doing this but once we get that money I will make sure I turn in their wicked sister. My god that girl is a demon...'' She added

Her husband leaned in kissing her before he put his hands around her waist pulling her in as he said

'Just hang in there a little while longer alright...''

To which Shagun nodded hugging him as well. They stayed in each other's embrace for a while before he let go understanding that she needed to get back inside. They said their goodbyes, him showing her a few photos on his phone before he pecked her and walked out of there. She looked around making sure no one saw her before she put herself together and walked back inside completely unmindful to the eyes of Aditya who was just standing there in shock not knowing what to do.

His little brain couldn't quite fathom what he had heard and he could not quite understand how to react to this so he just stayed standing in one place not saying anything almost as if he was too shocked to move. He just stayed there staring where his mother was standing and began to tear up making a realization that maybe the woman whom he thought was his mother was a liar.

Mark, Ishita's bodyguard had left the place and had taken the phone for analysis on Ishita's insistence and he just gotten back. He parked his car getting out as he saw Aditya just standing there like someone else had taken over his body

'Hey kid... Are you alright...'' He asked but Aditya didn't barge

He stepped forward putting his hand on Aditya's shoulder slightly frightening him.

'It's Mark... Ms. Iyer's... Uhh Ishita's friend... Are you okay...'' He asked but Aditya just looked up at him tears filled in his eyes

'Let us go inside...'' Said Mark and he took Aditya's hand but once got to the entrance he refused to go in

'Aditya come on...'' Said Mark but he refused

'I can't just leave you outside... It is not safe... Why are you even here alone...'' Asked Mark baffled but he just cried

'Okay just... Stay here for a second and do not move I will go get your dad...'' He said but Aditya pulled him back

'No... No...'' He cried pulling Mark's hand

'Okay... Okay... Can I get your mom then...'' Mark asked

'No...'' He cried

'Ishita... Can I get Ishita then...'' He asked and Aditya kept quiet

'Surely I cannot leave you here alone...'' Mark insisted and Aditya agreed

Mark hesitantly walked back inside in all fairness worried about the boy because he looked seriously disturbed and the fact that he did not want to see any of his parents meant there were red flags going on everywhere. He walked inside and whispered in Ishita's ear startling her as she turned to him

'Are you sure?'' She asked and Mark nodded in affirmation causing Ishita to stand up

Raman who saw her expression change almost out of instinct grabbed her hand causing her to turn and look at him

'Is everything okay...'' He asked concerned but Ishita instead looked at him coldly and said

'Let go...''
