Chapter 23
Both of them stunned to see Maithili at door step. "Jeeja" Paro said. Maithili turns to see Samrat who is talking to someone on phone. "Come in jeeja" she said. Rudra is still in shock, he didn't say anything to her but his thought that why bhabisa come here? That to all alone. His thoughts are interrupted when he sees Samrat come to her side. "Samrat, you?" surprised Rudra asked him. Without thinks Samrat blankly says "We are decided to adopt a child". Maithili itself shocked to hear it from him and holds his hand tighter, he nods at her, and she smiled. Geethanjali and Aman came, Samrat wished them. Samrat says Madam, we are from. Paro says "Chandangarh, he is Rudra's brother, she is Mai...". "Rudra is this family visit" Geethanjali joking said. He says no Madam. "Suraj sir is the one who gave me this address for child adoption" Samrat said. She sits on her chair and signaled them to sit. She called the worker to guide them to the children room. "Maasa, I will" Parvati said. Geethanjali nods. They left. Rudra is still in shock, he didn't believe his eye. "Rudra, are you filling the form still now" Geethanjali asked. He nods.
After few minutes, Maithili and Samrat came back to office room where Parvati is standing with Rathna. Maithili said sorry maasa, I want a child who is not even know about herself/himself. Shocked Parvati took out a feeding bottle from Rathna's mouth who is started crying. "I need Rathna" said Maithili. All are shocked but Geethanjali smiled at her and said so you want a little baby doll like my granddaughter. Maithili cried and nods, Samrat holds her hand. "Don't worry bedi, your wish will granted soon, be happy"Geethanjali says. Samrat says "Thank you mam, please inform us". Geethanjali nods and asked Parvati to give Rathna to Maithili for some time. Rathna happily jumped from Paro to Maithili. Samrat thanked her. Maithili happily hugs her. Rudra and Aman witnessed everything, Rudra asked Paro to sign the paper. She prayed a little and signed it. Maithili asked "Maasa, tomorrow night holi pooja at our home, can you and my little sister are join with us". Geethanjali pats her check and says Paro will come, we won't celebrate it. Maithili asks "We are going to market to purchase thing for pooja and holi, shall I took Rathna with us". Samrat says "Maithili, it's not good". She says it's ok but my granddaughter is not at all leave her Mausi, so... Maithili says "Parvati, please come with us". She nods and smiled at her mother. All of them are left the office room.
At Service center gate, Aman started the jeep and waits for Rudra. Rudra and Parvati came to gate. She asked him to join with them. He refused it and said I had more work to do. Aman says Parvati, he is lying, and no more work today. She says ok bhaisa, then why are you waiting for him, go ahead and inform his leave. Rudra angrily said no Aman. She holds his hand. Maithili and Samrat witnessed everything through the car window. Aman left them. Rudra asked "Paro, what is this?" She says come on Rudra. He says I'm in uniform Paro, this is not right. Maithili says "Devarjisa, we are going for shopping, there you can buy new cloths". Rudra nods and smiled at Paro who is happily holds his hand and leading him to back door of the car.
At Happy Party office, Sabtabdi waits for Sumer to pick her up. Sumer is went meet V.K.Singh at his office, after meeting, he promised to took her to Bazzar for Holi shopping, but he didn't return till now, it's too late. Sumer stopped the car in front of her; Mala is come out of it. Shatabdi is shocked to see her, asked are you discharged your Taaisa. He nods and says I need your help, she need some place to stay for few days because my house which was very small one. She says ok Sumer, but what I can do in this? He says with you, with your home, please Shabu. She smiled at him. He says Thanks. She says one condition; I need to celebrate holi at your home. He agreed. Mala thanked her. She says no maasa.
At Bazzar, Samrat says I will join with you after parking it. Maithili nods. Rudra searched for Textile shop. Paro holds his hand; her fingers are entwined with his. "I need to change" he said. She leads him to the textile shop where her family took dress for festivals. Maithili with Rathna waits for Samrat and then they started their shopping with baby. The entire sellers from shops are happy to see Maithili with a baby. Samrat is also felt the same. All are blessed both of them. Paro saw all kurta's from the shop which was now on the table where she is confused to select only one for Rudra. Rudra came to her from behind and put his hand on her shoulder, she is shocked to see him in Black Kurta with Pajama. He holds her wrist and leads her out of the shop. They came out of the shop and started walking at the market road. "Rudra, are you thought that my taste of selecting dress for you is not good" she asked. He stops and says "It's not like that Paro; I don't want to waste my precious time". She smiled and her eyes spotted the gola, she points her hand at gola ganda shop. He smiled and nods. Paro ordered for him and is confused to order for herself. They have gola together. She smiled at him and says you're really a kid Rudra, eating like a kid, all over your face and wipes gola drops from his corner of lips, he tenderly kissed her fingers, she talk off her hand back from his face. He says first look at your face Paro and then told me my dear lovely kid. She says I'm not a ki... He wipes her lips with his thumbs. She thanked him. He smiled at her cuteness. She says this thanks is not for wiping gola drops, he says oh, then for what? She says you took leave for me. He says "I know that Paro". They have gola together. After that, they started walking and Rudra asked her where our daughter is? She says our daughter is with Maithili jeeja. He holds her hand and makes her see his eyes and says "Paro, if she is really our daughter, did you leave her like this". She put her one hand on his cheek and says "I'll not leave you Rudra". He saw her eye which is always speaking truth, which was confirms her love for him and hugged her without considering their surroundings. She resists him and said it's not our home, Rudra. He says Shhh... Paro and breaks hugs then blissfully holds her hand.
At Shatabdi home, Sabtabdi's Bhabisa Divya opened the door and welcomed them. Shatabdi took Mala to her room and asked her Bhabi to arrange some food for her. Divay says Shatabdi, you didn't tell me who is she? Shatabdi says she is my mom now. Divya smiled at her and says ok Shatabdi, you decided it, I won't interfere in this and I promised you, I will took good care of my new mother in law. Shatabdi hugged and thanked her. Sumer witnessed everything. He thanked both of them, Shatabdi says you promised me. He says lets go.
Rudra got a call from BSD, her hands detangled his and went to bangle shop. He didn't notice where she went, he cuts the call and turns to see her but she is missing. He is frantically searching for her and is running here and there at market, he shouts her name. He finds her at the bangle shops and scolding her for leaving his hand. She scanned the crowd who are all watching them. She says sorry Rudra, I don't want to leave your hand, and she entangled her hand with his and smiled at him. He smiled back at her. She says I need that blue bangles Rudra, I know it your favorite color. He smiled and brought it for her and handed to her. She asks him to make me wear it. He smiled at her childish behavior and makes her wear it gently. They have an eye lock (BG.RangRasiya song plays). Samrat called Rudra and asked where are you both gone? Rathna is crying? Maithili tried her level best to pacify her but she cries continuously. Rudra says we will be there with in a minute.
Maithili gave Rathna to Parvati. "Ok, ok, your Mausi came for you, don't cry my dear" Paro said lovingly and caress her soft hand and took a feeding bottle from her small handmade bag, one of her hand patting her hand caringly. Rudra gets happy to see Paro's motherly love for Rathna, once he desired this love and affection from his mother but he was refused by her but now he felt happy about Rathna who got an adoring mother like Paro. Maithili says sorry Parvati. She says no jeeja, I forgot to give it to you. Rathna fell asleep after had some milk. Parvati says I will take care of her, jeeja you carry on. Maithili cried a little and says you too felt that I'm not capable to be a mother. Parvati says not like that jeeja, here our daughter, you can take care. Maithili happily accepts her and thanked Parvati who says don't thank you sister.
Sumer and Shatabdi reached market where they started their purchasing at textile shop , they spots Maithili with Rathna. Shatabdi asked where is Rathna's mausi? She says Parvati is with Devarjisa. She smiled and says oh ho outing ah? Samrat is stunned to see his brother with a girl. Maithili introduced him to her. Samrat asks Sumer, you? Maithili interrupt and says I will tell you whole story, now we need to finish our purchase soon, otherwise Maajisa will scold us. All four of them are purchased together in between Maithili told everything to Samrat who is really felt happy about Sumer.
Paro took out a mobile from her bag and handed it to Rudra who said its looks good, Paro. She says I know that but I want to talk to you. He points his hand at giant wheel. She says no Rudra, I'll not, it's really big one and I'm afraid of height so no Rudra. He says don't be afraid, I'm with you. He led her to it. He leaves her and gone to talk to the man who is operating it. They are stepped into it and sit on it. When it started, Paro holds his arm tightly and buried her face into his shoulder. He says Paro, look at me, it's nothing. "Please Rudra, please stop this" she said. Rudra says here you're mobile; I won't give my number if you didn't open your eyes. She slowly opened her eyes without seeing anywhere she is focused on him and says I need your num... she couldn't complete her sentence the giant wheel stopped, they are in the top most place of the wheel. She felt afraid and says Rudra, it's stopped. He smiled and says yes Paro, it's stopped, and he says 9876556789. She holds his arm tighter and asks why are you counting, will they start it after counting. He says no, it's my phone number Paro, I saved it as Rudra. She says Rudra nahi, Major Saab. He asks why? Is there any problem? She says after marriage I will call you like this. He smiled and asks why Paro? Rudra' it's really sounds good, then why? She says don't asks cross questions. He says ok, done and he makes her stand and says look at me Paro when she did, he kneel down in front of her and says "I Love You Paro". She felt blissful to hear it from him and she is waits for this moment so long. He took a single red rose from his pant pocket and asks will you marry me Paro? Words are not formed so she nodded at his loving gestures and extents her hand to get a rose from him but he hold it back. She babyishly says Rudra. He stood up and says I need your reply my dear. She says "Love you too Rudra" and hugs him. He says Parooo, and breaks hug. She smiled at him. He says see here no one is there to spot us. She felt happy to see the surrounding and hugs him tighter and says what you want Major saab? Rudra smiled and kissed her forehead. She knows well what he wants so she breaks hug and smiled at him. He cups her face affectionately and placed his hard lips on her soft lips. Her fingers are entwined in his hair. His soft kisses are turned hard now but he fully aware that now they are not in their room, he stops and placed his head on hers and smiled at her who is slowly opened her eyes. Both of them are breathe profoundly. The operator switched on the giant wheel. They came to the bottom of it and come out of it. He thanked the operator. They hold their hands and started walking. A strange person is closely surveillance them.
