Part 12
Ishita sat in the couch look like a obedient kid and watched Raman doing everything while Raman lighted all the candles and then went to kitchen to bring their food ,he kept the food in dining table and went to call ishita .He went to her and find her deeply lost in her thoughts ,he sat beside her and asked softly " ishita what are thinking ."
I(still thinking )- that night was also like this na which turns everything upside down .
R- yeah that was also a stormy night like this ,that day also it was raining heavily ,I was taking you to vandu's house but it started raining ,and we got drenched in it ,it was getting difficult for me to ride the bike and your hostel's gatekeeper has already denied to take you in .I didn't thought of any place either than my appt ,I thought you will be safe there but I myself ruined everything .
He saw ishita with guilty eyes and spoke " I swear ishita it was a mistake ,I didn't intended to do that ,Maine kabhi nahi socha tha but it happened ,you know na I m not that type of...
He couldn't complete his sentence as ishita stopped him keeping her palm on his mouth and spoke " I do believe you raman ,it was our fate .you yourself told na that we will not think about past anymore but will try to make our future bright along with our baby ."
Raman smiled looking to her as now he can sense that ishita is adjusting with the situation .He forwarded his hands towards her and spoke " come let's eat ,you must be hungry as you had not eaten anything since long ".
I(giving her hand in him )- humm .
Both went to dining table ,Raman opened the lid of vessel and saw it was a paneer dish ,then another it was dal makhani ,then jeera rice and chapati .Ishita made a dirty face looking to the food and spoke " I can't eat these heavy food ,I will throw up all ."
R- then what do you want .
I(excitedly)- kuch chatpata sa ,ekdum teekha sa .
R- ishita tell something which we can manage to make ,as you are not in a condition to cook and I m not a master chef and adding to our difficulty power is also not there .
I-(thinking deeply )- humm .what should eat ,ok we can make aaloo ki tikki or aaloo paranthe with tikhi chatnee .
Raman made a frightened face and spoke " Ishita you actually want to eat this ".
I(with dreamy smile )- humm ,it will be yummy .
R- but I don't know how to make it .
I- arey main hoon na .
R- yaar Ishita ,this is not our house ,will it look nice we making food in their kitchen .
I- if you don't want to make anything for me then why you are asking time to time and again waise bhi bala Anna has left alone in this house means we can use its things na ,leave it I will not eat anything .
Saying so got up from her place and was going when Raman held her wrist ,she turned to him with a glanced him with a angry pout, he smiled looking to her cute pout and spoke " achcha chalo we will make together, ishita nodded happily.
After reaching kitchen Raman asked " tell now what I have to do ".
I- atfirst ,peel off the potatoes and keep them into cooker for boiling .
R- OK ,but let me first bring a chair for you.
Saying so he pulled a chair from outside and make her sit ,then he peeled off the potatoes and kept them in burner, after that Ishita chopped the onion and many chillies .Till they were done with chopping ,the cooker whistle stating that the potatoes are ready .Raman was trying to took out the boiled potatoes from cooker but he was not so experienced so he got burned with cookers steam .He winced in pain ,listening to his moan ishita ran to him ,she took his hand under tap and scolded ," I told you that I will do but you didn't listened, dekha jal gaye na ."
She was go on scolding him while he was admiring her getting happy to see her care towards him ,she was rubbing his affected area under water abd was go on saying when he removed her single strand of hair which was disturbing him to have a clear look of her beautiful face ,she glanced at him feeling his touch ,both shared a beautiful eyelock ,which remain for sometimes then ishita withdrew her sight and spoke " you be here itself I will search for some medicine ."
R- its not needed ,you he here I will search for it .
Saying so he left from there to search any medicine whike Ishita starred making her aaloo tikki .it was dark so it was being difficult for her to make anything but she was firm in her decision as she don't wanted to eat those heavy foods .Soon she anyhow managed to prepare her aloo tikki with a tart tomato chutney. Both seated together to have their dinner ,ishita was eating it making a very satisfied face, Raman smiled looking to her while she was busy in relishing her aloo tikki ,he asked " you love it na ".
I- humm ,not only this I love panipuris , pao bhaji, idli ,dosa, vada ,bhajiya and ...
R- no need to add more ,now I came to know how foodie you are .
I- I m not that foodie but I was saying that I like these things .
R- all are junk food madam .
I- but I m not that fatty ,see .
She stood in her place abd make him look at her ,showing she is not that fat ,so she can have these junk foods ,Raman laughed at her . They finished their food and went to the room ,Raman was bit relieved ,seeing ishita a bit relaxed as till now she was very gloomy .The power has not yet come and candles were also going to end ,Raman told Ishita to complete all her works and come to bed before the candles end and it become dark .She told that she has to go to washroom before sleeping ,Raman placed a candle in washroom and went out .It was about ten minutes and ishita has not yet come ,Raman was waiting for her wondering what she is doing in washroom when he heard her voice ,she was calling him .
I- Raman,ramannn .
R- yes Ishita ,do you want anything
I- yes ,no actually this candle had ended and now its dark here .
R- should I come.
I- humm .
Raman took another candle and went inside ,there he saw her standing all sweaty, he look at her and asked " is everything OK ishita ,".
She shook her head negatively .
R- what happened.
I(making a puppy face)- I m trying to open my knot of salwaar but its not happening as its not fully visible .
Raman saw her and asked " should I help you ."
She nodded ,Raman sat on his feet and tried to unknot her salwar's Dori whike she was showing him flashlight ,he tried a lot but she has tied it tightly in process of opening it ,atlast he started trying to unknot it with his teeth's his hot breath brushed her stomach ,she closed her eyes feeling his proximity .Though they had shared much more intimate moment than this but at that time non of them were in senses ,so they don't remember how they felt at that time but this time both were feeling goosebumps inside them .Both were trying hard not to get affected but were having a different type of feeling .Soon he got succeeded in unknotting her Dori ,he got up in jiffy and went out without giving a glance to her ,she too got relived when he left .After a while she came out completing her work .
Both of them were laying in bed but very much far from each other ,Slowly the place became dark as all the candles melted and now it was totally dark , ishita slide closer to him ,sending her coming closer to him ,he wounded his arms around her ,she cocooned herself in his embrace ,he smiled on her fear and then covered themselves with duvet as it was bit chilly because of storm and rain .
