Chapter 17: (Written by me)
It was still the day of the engagement. Soniya wanted to talk to Siddarth about something.
Siddarth was walking when he heard Soniya calling for him.
"Watsup Salisahiba?".
Soniya pulled him and brought him in a room.
"Listen Siddarth I need to talk to you about something", she said stressing.
"Chill Salisahiba bolo kya baat hain", Siddarth joked.
"Will you stop your jokes", she hit him.
"Okay fine".
"Siddarth I have known you since childhood. You have always teased Roshni but now whenever I see you I see that change. But I can't trust you. I saw how you were romancing with Roshni earlier but then backed away seeing how uncomfortable she was.", Soniya tried to continue.
"Soniya you don't have to", Siddarth saw her cry.
"No Sid I have to. I love my sister more than my life. I have always been there for her through ups and down. I have seen her in sad times and happy times. I would protect her from anything even from you", her tears came down her face.
"Soniya I know I have troubled your sister a lot but this time you have to give me one chance. I promise you I will take good care of her and turn all her sorrows into happiness. Thats a promise from a brother in law to his sister in law", Siddarth tried to convince her.
Soniya wiped her tears.
"Siddarth come here we have to go", Simran shouted out.
Siddarth looked at Soniya and then walked away.
"Suno", Soniya called out.
"Yeah", Siddarth replied.
"My eyes are on you remember that", Soniya said in a stern voice.
Siddarth then walked away saying bye to her.

It was the next day. Sangeet day.
Siddarth was excited to the core especially to dance with Roshni.
Suddenly his phone started ringing.
He looked at the caller id and automatically started smiling.
"Hello Mrs. Khurana", he answered the phone.
"Aargh would you stop calling me that? I called you because mom wanted to know which is your favourite colour green or beige?", she really didn't want to call Siddarth but she had to.
"I think you know. Oh talking about colours mom wanted to know yours too", he said.
"Oh really? You are asking me that the Siddarth Khurana who tore my favourite colour dress is asking me that", Roshni's voice broke down.
"Roshni", he sighed remembering that incident.
Flashback:
Roshni was rehearsing for the school play. She was playing the role of the princess's sister.
On the other hand, Siddarth was playing the role of Roshni's husband.
He was sitting down. "There's no way am playing the role of that fatty's husband".
He thought of a plan. He went to Roshni's dressing room.
Roshni was admiring her red gown she was going to wear. She chose this colour because it was her favourite.
Siddarth came in and snatched the dress from her.
"What are you doing with that? Please give it back to me?", Roshni begged him crying.
"In your dreams rolly polly", Siddarth ripped the dress.
After this Roshni got in trouble with the teacher for ruining her dress and couldn't play the role. She was really looking forward to playing the role. Her mom was going to come to see her but now everything was ruined just because of Siddarth.
Flashback ended.
"Roshni listen to me...", he tried to say but Roshni interupted him and cut the phone.
"Ufff when will she understand I am not like that idiot 13 year old Siddarth Khurana", Siddarth hit his head against the wall.
Rahul came in.
"Siddarth are you not ready yet?", he panicked.
"I take 5 minutes chill", he said back.
Rahul seemed to be in stressing mode. He was walking back and forth.
"Rahul what's wrong with you?", Siddarth noticed him.
No reply. Siddarth went over and shook him.
"Dude why do you seem so nervous? Shaadi meri hain and you seem to be nervous", Siddarth stared at him.
"Nothing nothing", he replied.
"Okay well I need to get ready now you too go get ready", Siddarth told him.

Soniya was practicing dance for the sangeet. Roshni was passing by and she was smiling seeing how Soniya was trying her best to dance.
Roshni came over and said "Sonu relax I'll teach you dance steps".
Soniya gave her a cute smile and replied with "Waah how great my sister is so talented she even knows how to dance".
"Mazak chodo", they both laughed.
"Acha yeh batao why do you want to dance? I mean I know today's my sangeet and you really want to dance but there's something else am sure", Roshni asked her.
"Well I kinda sorta wanna defeat Rahul ", Soniya said quietly knowing her sisters reaction.
Roshni put her hands on her hips and said "Sometimes I feel you hate him not love him".
"Oh come on Roshni, I love him more than my life, its not my fault our relationship is like this", they both laughed.
"Poor brother", Roshni joked.
They kept on practicing dance steps for the sangeet.

"Rahul would you just concentrate on the stupid steps", Siddarth lost his temper but Rahul was too lost to hear his words.
"Rahul ", Siddarth shouted.
Siddarth took a flower branch nearby and started waddling it in his ear.
Rahul came out in a trance.
"Huh what?", he was bewildered of his surroundings.
"Rahul I have been trying to show you dance steps for the past hour but you are just lost in your own world".
"Sorry yaar actually I have been thinking of something", Rahul replied.
Siddarth asked him what it was and Rahul told him something.
"What really?", Siddarth was shocked after Rahul told him something.
"Yeah", Rahul replied.
"Am proud am proud", Siddarth smiled.

Roshni was getting ready and she was again wearing a lehenga this time with a beautiful border line and it was a load of different colours mashed up to make a beautiful artistic design.
As always, she was looking attractive and her figure brought out her beauty more.
She wore her jewellery.
"Wow my sister is looking amazing", Soniya came in.
She too was looking gorgeous with her suit. Her complexion her face was flawless.
"Thanks babes you are looking sexy as well", Roshni hugged her.
Downstairs Siddarth had arrived with his whole family. He was wearing a pink suit.
His eyes were only searching for his Roshni.
"Kahan hain yeh ladki?", he was so impatient to see her.
Then he turned around and straight away his eyes fell on her. His eyes were meeting Roshni's eyes. The sound of her anklets and her heels would make anyone go crazy.
Siddarth couldn't stop gazing at her.
Rahul got a phone call and went somewhere else.
"I am right here and his concentration is somewhere else", Soniya fumed seeing Rahul leave.
"Everybody sit down, the function is about to start", Nani said out loud.
Roshni again sat down beside Siddarth. Siddarth circled his arms around her. She felt uncomfortable and tried to take his hand off.
Seeing this Siddarth felt hurt and he took his hands off her and lowered his eyebrows. "I can't wait for the moment when you actually will hug me yourself Roshni", he thought.
"First of all we will start off with our lovely couple Siddarth and Roshni", Nani cheered.
Everyone clapped on. "Lovely couple my foot", Roshni muttered.
Siddarth got up and went on his knees.
He reached out for Roshni's hand. "May I have this dance with this beautiful girl".
Mila hoon ab jo tum se
Roshni blushed. Her cheeks went red as everyone shouted out "Aww".
Sukoon mila, sukoon mila..
Roshni held his hands and they went to the dance floor.
Hai dil ko mere kasam se
Siddarth continued holding her hands as he grew distant from her.
Sukoon mila, sukoon mila..
Then he twisted her around and spun her around the whole dance floor making them the centre of attention.
Har pal haseen sa huaa hai
She was about to slip when Siddarth suddenly grabbed her hips.
Saanson ko tune chhuaa hai
"I'll never let you fall baby".
Badhi tujhse nazdeekiyaan
This sent shivers down Roshni's body making it hard for her to resist.
Sukoon mila, sukoon mila
Their gazes met and locked, sweeping her out of reality on a tidal wave of emotion, like always.
Jab Se Juda Tujhse Jiya
He was lost and he felt as if there was no one else around him. Only him and her.
Chain Aur Qaraar Dil Ko Mila
They were in their own world where nothing existed except the language of love. They were in each other's arms and stayed intact as if they needed each other to live.
Jab Bhi Rahoon Sang Tere
Their hearts connected and a message was sent from their bodies.
Bhoolun Har Gham Shiqwa Gila
As she pulled him apart, he wouldn't let go. He couldn't. His life was depending on her.
Tere Ishq Ka Hi Nasha Hai
If he let go now, his breath wouldn't work.
Meri Rooh Tak Mein Basaa Hai
His breath fell on her shoulders, which eventually reached down Roshni's spine.
Tune Aankhon Se Jo Chhuaa
She shook for a while feeling his love. She felt as if his eyes were speaking the truth to her.
Sukoon Mila, Sukoon Mila
He leaned it and slid his arms around her upper body while Roshni stared at him, at his eyes.
Mila Hoon Ab Jo Tum Se
They were so close, they could feel each other's fragrance. Her beauty was affecting him more.
Hai Dil Ko Mere Kasam Se
He was full of love desires. Siddarth caressed her back lightly and Roshni's face was on his shoulders. He left a trail of wet kisses on her shoulder and Roshni closed her eyes.
Sukoon Mila, Sukoon Mila..
They were too much lost to let go of each other.
Hai dil ko mere kasam se
The space got thinner between them and their bodies stuck together.
Tujhe hai paaya Rab se,
Roshni's hands slid towards Siddarth's upper back. She felt dizzy. His arms made her feel safe, deep and warm.
Siddarth walked back and he spread his arms.
Roshni ran up and jumped in his arms.
Siddarth lifted Roshni up and spun her around with his face buried in her neck.
Everyone started clapping causing Roshni and Siddarth to get out of their world.
Siddarth slowly put Roshni not wanting to let go.
Roshni let go of him and walked away when Siddarth grabbed her hand and everyone kept on staring at them.
He kneeled again and said "Tujhe dekha toh yeh jaana sanam, pyaar hota hain deewana sanam, ab yahan se kahan jaye hum, teri baahon mein marr jaya hum".
Roshni felt a sudden urge to hug him and smile but some stubbornness kept control of her and made her clench her fist and walk away.
Didn't she know she could never get rid of him? How could she get rid of him who had become her breath, her half?
Siddarth followed her and stood beside her continue looking at her. "Aaye haaye".
Roshni just growled but Siddarth continued adoring her.
"Next up we have a lover, aisi aashiqui that wants to propose to his princess tonight", nani said.
The lights went out and Rahul came to the spotlight.
He was looking so hot that Soniya's eyes was on him only.
Then music started playing.
Rahul started dancing.
The song "Mujhse shaadi karoge" started playing.
Soniya sighed and she couldn't stop smiling knowing what this was about when she heard the song.
"Oh, my god, is this actually happening?", Soniya clutched her suit.
Rahul danced around her and then pulled her to him and they danced together elegantly.
They loved each other around and wanted each other so badly.
Rahul pulled her closer and kissing her cheek.
Then he bent down and said "Soniya my jellybean I have known you since childhood. I have fallen in love with you since then. I don't know what our life will turn out to be but all I know is that I want to spend every part of it with you. I want to hold you in my arms forever. People say they can get stars moons for their girlfriends their life partner but I can destroy the whole universe just to get you", he said romantically.
Soniya put her hand on his lips. She got emotional and made him stand up properly. She hugged him tightly and said "I love you Rahul".
Rahul smiled and kissed her forehead.
He took out the thing that he had gone out for during the function.
It was a golden ring with a diamond in the middle.
Soniya was awestruck.
"Will you marry me Soniya? Mujhse shaadi karoge? Will you become my Mrs. Soniya Rahul...", he got to thinking.
"Khurana", Simran added.
"Yes I will be your wife Mr. Rahul Khurana".
He picked her up in his arms and they leaned their foreheads against each others.
Everyone was looking lovingly at them.
