Part 4:-

Riya(in mind):-address se toh yahi dikh raha he ghar..iss waqt muze dekh ke gussa toh nahi honge..?kahi ye na kahe ke mein unki life me tak Zak kar rahi hu...?jau ya na jau..?stop it Riya..ab yaha tak aa gayi he toh mil hi le unse..

Thinking this Riya press door bell ..

Within a minute Arjun open the door..only to find Riya outside with nervousness n tension written on her face..

Arjun:-Riya..?tum yaha..?woh bhi iss waqt..??

Riya's gaze fixed on his palm which is badly bleeding..

Riya(worrily):-aapke hath ko kya hua..?

Arjun:-woh..umm..kuch khas nahi..

Riya:-aise kaise..

Without waiting for his invitation she come inside home..n she found the glass table in the middle of hall is broken..n some stuffs are scattered here n there..

Riya don't said anything as she know Arjun has take out his anger on these things n on himself by hurting himself..

Riya:-first aid kit kaha he..?

Arjun:-Riya usaki zarurat nahi he..tum..

Riya(cutting him in mid):-first aid kit kaha he sir..?thik he mein khud hi dund leti hu..

Saying this she turn to one room..

Arjun:-waha nahi he..(she stop on her track..)kitchen ke cupboard me he first shelf..

Riya turn to kitchen..find first aid kit box..n back ..

Riya(signal him to sofa):-aap baithi ye yaha par..(she sit on her knees in front him..n started bandage his wound..)

He keep staring her lovingly without blinking eyes..

When she is done with his bandage she look to Arjun n found him staring her..

Riya:-sir..?

Arjun come out of his trance..n his gaze turn to his bandaged hand.

Riya:-kya hua Sir..?jyada dard ho raha he..?oh god..mein doctor ko phone karti hu..ho sakhta he koi glass ka tukda skin ke andar tak chala gaya ho..

Arjun don't said anything.. Hug her immigiately..

Riya shocked n have goosebumps feeling the man hugging him whom she loves.. But next seconds she feels pain as she hears arjun's sob..

She just hug back him..she too not in condition to say anything..she is also teary eyed.

After sometimes Arjun broke off..n sit straight..Riya get up n sit near him on sofa..

Riya:-aapne kuch khana khaya..?

Arjun nods..

Riya:-mein kuch bana du..?

Arjun:-tumhe takleef lene ki zarurat nahi he..

Riya:-aap muzpe gussa he kya..?I know muze yaha aise nahi aana chahiye tha..but believe me sir..aapki life me interfare karne ka mera koi irada nahi tha..I just wanted to see whether u r OK or not..that's why I come here..I..

Arjun(cutting her in mid):-dost hone ka itna haq toh hota he Riya..ke apne dost ke ghar bin bulaye kabhi bhi ja sakho..

This brings smile on her face..

Riya:-ek baat bolu ..?

Arjun:-bolo..

Riya:-I know rathod sir was very rude today..aaj se pehale meine unhe itna gusse me nahi dekha..I know almost every time har case me aapka conclusion sahi hota he..par ye bhi toh ho sakhta he ke jaise rathod sir keh rahe he waise sach me Sikandar na ho..I mean..

Arjun(cutting her in mid,looking in her eyes):-tumhe bhi yahi lagta he ke Sikandar nahi he..?

Riya:-muze aappe pura yakin he sir..par kahi bhi aisa saboot nahi Jo ye sabit karta ho ke Sikandar he..

Arjun:-usine Mara he..ussine Mara he meri roshni ko..

Riya:-par rathod sir..

Arjun(cutting her in mid):-ha woh bhi sahi he..roshni ki maut ka zimmedar mein hu..mein hi hu..kyo ki mein usse bacha nahi paya..mein usse safe nahi rakh paya..

Riya:-muze pura yakin he ke aapne har mumkin koshish ko hogi par for rathod sir aise.

Arjun(cutting her in mid ):-kyo ki jaise meine apna pyar khoya..usane bhi apne dost ko kho diya..

Riya:-woh sir ki dost thi..?

Arjun(lost in memory lane):-hmm..college friend.. Aur usike through toh meri aur roshni ki pehali mulakath hui thi..

Riya:-matlab aap aur rathod sir ek dusare ko kafi pehale se jante the..?

Arjun:-jante the..?we were best friends Riya..best friends..

Riya:-u were..?matlab..?

Arjun lost in memory lane n told her that he n Sam was best friends..used to share every thing with each other..n how one day Sam told him his friend roshni is coming to Mumbai..n he is busy so he give her arjun's address..

He told her how he met roshni first time n get lost in her..

Riya giggle.. Arjun raised eyebrow.. She compose..

Arjun:-has kyo rahi ho..?

Riya:-sorry..woh believe hi nahi ho raha ke aap kisi ladki ko dekh ke aise fida ho sakhte he..

Arjun smiles lightly..

Riya:-I guess woh sach me bahot khubsurat hogi..

Arjun took out a photo frame from nearby drawer n give it to her..

Its roshni's photo..

Riya(seeing the photo):-wow..so beautiful..

Arjun(lightly):-usaka dil usse bhi jyada khubsurat tha..

Riya smiles..

Riya:-par fir rathod sir aisa kyo kehte he ke aap hi in sabki wajah he..

Arjun:-uss din baad me rathod roshni ko manane aaya..par roshni bahot naraz thi ke woh usse receive karne bhi nahi aaya..fir roshni mere ghar pe hi ruk gayi..usake 2-3 din baad hi rathod ek undercover mission ke liye chala gaya..idhar mein aur roshni bahot acche dost ban gaye..aur ek dusare se pyar bhi karne lage..hamne shadi bhi kar li..iss bich Sam se kuch bhi contact nahi ho paya..usse ham dono ke bare me koi khabar nahi thi..

He pause..

Arjun:-uss din..hamari first marriage anniversary thi..

Flashback:-

(Consider Arjun is remembering this n telling to Riya)

Arjun enter in home at night..n found home n dining table is well decorated..

He goes to get fresh n back within some minute..roshni serves him dinner.. N keep looking to him lovingly..

Roshni ask him how is dinner..he said its good..roshni pout n said sometimes he has to compliment her..Arjun ask her what is special today..why all this decoration n all his favorite food..

Roshni get upset thinking he don't remember their first anniversary.. Arjun hug her from back n said if he don't remember then how he had bring this for her..saying this he give her bouquet of red n white roses..she get happy n smiles..

Arjun said my wife get happy seeing flowers only..but I had something more..he up his sleeves n show her tattoo of her name..she get teary n ask him why he did this..she sees her name in his eyes every time..

Both hug each other emotionally..

Suddenly light goes..n all went black..only some candles which are arranged by roshni for decoration are giving some light..

Roshni(move away from Arjun):-oh ho..light chali gayi..

Arjun:-are Jane do na..tum yaha aao..tum hi kehti ho na mein bilcul unromantic hu..ab tu he dikhata hu ke candle light romance kaisa hota he..aur mein kitna romantic hu..

Roshni:-stop it arjun..tumhe pata he na muze andhere se kitna dar lagta he..

Arjun:-don't worry ..mein dekhta hu..mera phone table pe shayad..

Saying this he turn to dining table..n started looking for his mobile in dark..

Same time someone hit him from behind on his head..

Arjun:-ahh..

He fall on floor..

Roshni (get feared hearing his voice):-Arjun..Arjun..kya hua..?

Here someone inject Arjun something.. N another man hit him with hockey stick..

Someone hold roshni..n drag him in center..

Arjun(seeing roshni):-roshni..

Roshni (saw Arjun hurt):-Arjun..Arjun..

She cried out .

Here someone who has mask on his face..come near Arjun..

Cut the tattoo brutally..

Man:-ye naam tunhare hath se hi nahi zindagi se bhi mita dunga..

Arjun:-tum..tum..

Man:-Sikandar..

N next second he stab roshni..roshni fall on floor..

Arjun(with tears):-roshni..

Roshni keep staring him with tears..n then her eyes become lifeless..

Arjun get unconscious..

Flashback end..

Arjun have tears in his eyes..Riya too..

She don't said anything.. Just keep staring him sadly..

Arjun:-jab josh aaya toh khud ko hospital me paya..

Flashback:-

(Consider Arjun is remembering this n telling to Riya)

Arjun open his eyes..n found himself in hospital lying on bed..

Next second he remember roshni..

Arjun:-roshni..

N he hurrily tried to get up..but doctor n ward boy hold him n stop him..police inspector entered there..n ask Arjun..Arjun readily ask him about roshni..but he don't said anything.. Arjun yell. Then inspector have to told him that when they reach they found him unconscious n roshni died..

Arjun become numb..it took him lot time to come out..he slowly told inspector what had happened.. Inspector left .n Sam enter in room..

Sam:-Arjun ye dab kya he..?tu..roshni..

Arjun somehow get up n hug Sam..Sam too hug back him..

Arjun dont know how much he keep crying ..

Sam:-Arjun..Arjun sambhal apne aapko..ye kisane kiya..?bol.?ye sab..aur roshni..woh..

Arjun:-tu ..tu undercover chala gaya..mein aur roshni ek dusare se pyar karne lage..hamne shadi ki..shadi ke din woh bahot miss kar rahi thi tuze..kehti thi..aane do sameer ko mein iss baar usse baat hi nahi karugi..

Saying this Arjun started crying more..

Sam(with tears):-ab toh sach me kabhi baat nahi karegi woh..

Arjun suddenly wipe his tears..

Arjun(angrily):-ye sab uss Sikandar ne kiya he..?mein usse choduga nahi..nahi choduga mein usse..usse isaka hisab chukana hoga..

Sam:-kyon Sikandar.?

Arjun:-pata nahi..

Sam:-kaise dikhta he woh..?

Arjun:-usse nahi dekha..

Sam:-kya..?

Arjun:-ussine meri roshni ko Mara he..mein usse nahi choduga..

Arjun is trying to get up in anger..

Sam(stop him):-nahi..nahi..Arjun..shant ho ja..(he cup arjun's face):-muzpe bharosa rakh mere dost..bharosa kar..uss Sikandar ko tere samne khada kar dunga mein..muze thoda sa waqt de..(with tears)tuze aaram ki zarurat he..roshni ko kho chuka..ab tuze nahi kho sakhta mein..

Saying this Sam made Arjun lye on bed..n he left..

Sam jun then does last rituals of roshni after a day..

Then Sam try to find about Sikandar on his own way..but didn't even get a single person who know about Sikandar..

After some days..

Arjun is in his home sitting numbly..

Sam come to him..

Sam:-Arjun meine bahot pata karne ki koshish ki..koi bhi Sikandar ke bare me kuch nahi janta..kisine usse dekha nahi..aur toh aur muze koi aisa insaan bhi nahi mila jisane Sikandar ye naam suna ho..ho sakhta he tuze koi galatfaimi hui ho..

Arjun:-usane khud bola tha woh Sikandar he..

Sam:-ho sakhta he Sikandar naam leke woh hame gumrah karne ki koshish kar raha ho..

Arjun:-nahi Sam..Sikandar sach me he..1 mahine pehale meine ek drugs peddler ko pakada tha..mushtaq naam tha usaka..was a small drugs supplier..ussine bataya tha ke woh sirf ek chota aadmi he..usaka gang bahot bada he..aur Sikandar he unka leader..

Sam:-kaha he ye mushtaq..?

Arjun:-woh mar gaya..usane tabhi cinide kha liya..

Sam:-tune usaka statement record kiya na..?

Arjun:-sirf mein hi tha waha pe..usane official statement nahi diya tha..

Sam:-dam it..

Arjun:-uss din ke baad se hi mein Sikandar ke khilaf link dund raha tha..aur muze rokne ke liye hi usane ye sab kiya .

Sam:-dekh Arjun..mushtaq ka bayan tum kaise consider kar sakhte ho..?ho sakhta he usane hame gumrah karne ke liye bola ho..aur tuzpe hamla karte waqt bhi tuze gumrah karne ke liye bola ho..

Arjun:-nahi Sam ..Sikandar he..

Sam:-Arjun har baar tera andaza sahi ho aisa nahi ho sakhta..muze toh lagta he ye tere kisi aur dushman ka kaam he aur usane jaan buzke tuze divert karne ke liye Sikandar ka naam liya..

Arjun:-nahi..Sam..

Sam:-aisa hi he Arjun..waise bhi tere gusse ke wajah se bahot sare dushman he tere..

Arjun:-Sam..

Sam:-warna koi toh hota Jo hame Sikandar ke bare me kuch toh information deta..

Arjun:-Sikandar he Sam..aur mein usse samne la ke rahuga..

Sam(get angry):-dam it Arjun..samaz kyo nahi rahe tum..muze toh lagta he ye Sikandar tumhara vehem he..pagal mat bano arjun..Sikandar kisi parchayi ki tarah he..usse pakad nahi sakhte jab woh he hi nahi toh..

Arjun(angry):-tuze muzpe vishwas nahi he Sam..

Sam(yell):-nahi he tuzpe vishwas nahi he..kya bola tha meine roshni ko iss sheher ki sanse safest place pe bhej raha hu usse..?safest place..?bharosa kiya tha tuzpe..tere sath sabse safe rahegi woh..par tune kya kiya..?tu usse bacha nahi paya..

Arjun(with tears):-Sam..

Sam:-nahi..yaha koi Sam nahi..koi nahi..tuze last baar bol raha hu Arjun..ye Sikandar naam ka pagalpan band kar..pura department ,media has raha he tuzpe..

Arjun:-unn sabse muze koi Lena dena nahi..par tuzse he..tu toh he na mere sath..

Sam:-ye pagalpan chodega toh mein tere sath hu..warna..

Arjun stared him..

Arjun:-ek na ek din Sikandar ko duniya ke samne aana hi hoga..

Sam don't said anything.. N left from there..

Flashback end..

Riya looking to Arjun with tears..

Arjun:-uss din ke baad sab badal gaya..woh "Sam" se "rathod" ban gaya..aur mein "Arjun " se "rawte"..aur meine khud se kasam kha li..jab tak Sikandar ko dund nahi lunga chain se nahi rahuga..

Riya wipe her tears n stared him..

Arjun(looking to her):-kya tumhe abhi bhi lagta he ke Sikandar nahi he..?

Riya:-jo bhi ho..Sikandar ho ya nahi ho..mein bas chahugi ke aapke dil ko chain mile..

Both stared each other for some seconds..

Riya:-mein aapke liye kuch khana bana deti hu..taki aap painkiller le sakhe..

Arjun:-huh..Riya..tum nahi manogi na..?(Riya smiles)lekin mein yaha usually nahi rehta..toh ghar me kuch nahi hoga..

Riya:-I will check..

She goes to kitchen n find some dal n rice..she make khichadi for him..

N make him eat too..arranged the stuff in hall which he scattered in anger..

She give him painkiller ..

Riya:-ab aap rest kijiye..mein chalati hu..

Arjun:-umm..raat kafi ho gayi he..mein tumhe drop kar deta hu..

Riya:-Arjun sir..aap bhul rahe he ..I m etf officer..I will go myself..waise bhi aurat ki kabiliyat pe shaq nahi karna chahiye he na..?

Arjun:-hmm..baki ka toh pata nahi..par tumhari kabiliyat pe shaq karne ka kaam me firse nahi karne wala ..

Riya smile..

Riya:-good night..

Arjun nods..

Riya turn to left..

Arjun:-Riya..?

She turn to him..n give him questioning gaze..

Arjun :-thanks..

Riya(smile):-kisi ne muzse kaha he ke dosti me thanks nahi bolte..

This brings smiles on his face..

Riya(in mind):-I wish u always smiles like this..

Riya:-bye .

Arjun nod .

Riya left..

After sometime..

Riya is standing in balcony looking to moon..

Riya(in mind):-mein nahi janti ke Sikandar he ya nahi..par god plz at least Arjun sir aur rathod sir ko mila do..zindagi me dost ho toh har mushkil aasan ho jati he..

Here Arjun too standing in balcony looking to moon..

Arjun(in mind):-sach hi kehte ho tum rathod..roshni ki maut ka zimmedar mein hu..mein usse bacha nahi paya..usse toh kho chuka..par Riya ko nahi kho sakhta.. Issiliye bas uss din ka intzaar kar raha hu ke kab mein apna badla lunga Sikandar se ..aur fir usake baad Riya se bol du ke woh mere liye kya he..

Here Sam too standing in balcony looking to moon..

He is remembering how he n Arjun fight today..

Sam(in mind):-kyo nahi manta Arjun..kyo nahi manta tu..iss Sikandar ka bhoot apne dimag se nikal de..toh sab thik ho jayega..par samaz nahi aata kaise samzau tuze..?
