Happy Birthday to Movie icon Abhishek Bachchan

Today one of Bollywood's top actors celebrate his birthday. Bachchan is an Indian actor, producer and playback singer best known for his work in Hindi films. He is also the son of veteran actors Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. He made his film debut in the war drama Refugee (2000). He has starred in a series of unsuccessful films that failed before he became a leading actor of Hindi cinema with the blockbuster action thriller Dhoom (2004). He has since then starred in several successful films, including Bunty Aur Babli (2005), Dus (2005), Bluffmaster (2005), Dhoom 2 (2006), Guru (2007), Sarkar Raj (2008), Dostana (2008), Bol Bachchan (2012) and Housefull 3 (2016). He reprised his role in Dhoom 3 (2013) which along with Happy New Year (2014), rank among the highest-grossing Indian films of all time. Bachchan has garnered the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi for producing the family dramedy Paa (2009). He also has three consecutive Filmfare Awards for Best Supporting Actor for his critically acclaimed performances in Yuva (2004), Sarkar (2005), and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006). He became one of the highest-paid Bollywood actors in 2010. Bachchan has been married to former Miss World 1994 and actress Aishwarya Rai since 2007. They both have a daughter. He appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show with his wife in 2009.
