PART 7
It was nine at night,four hours since ishita went .Raman was trying hard to concentrate in his work and don't think about her but every now and then he mind went on the fact that she is still not back.
Finally he close his laptop not able to concentrate and went down.he asked the help again -did ishita came back ,only to get the same answer.not yet sir.
He got frustrated and was going to his room when one of the help asked-sahab khana lagaa doon.
Raman-not now .
Help-its getting late sir.i have to go home Mera bachcha chota hai.
Raman-aap sab kuch wrap up karke chale jaiye.i will eat when I will feel like.saying so he went upstairs and start walking to and fro in tension.
Raman-why she is not back yet.kahin kisi problem mein toh nahi.woh thik hogi naa.he thought and gulped a glass of water in tension.
Raman-ofcourse thik hogi,agar problem mein hoti toh mujhe jarur call karti.yes call,i can call her and ask about her well-being.he thought and pick his phone but then realised he don't have her number.
Raman-what a stupid I am ,number tak nahi liya.but why I am so bothered,usse toh koi farak bhi nahi padta.tabhi toh she didn't bother to inform me.i too don't bother about her.he said trying to make himself believe his words.
He kept the phone and switched on the television to kill his time.and the first thing he got to see was an accident of a twenty five years old girl wearing white dress on the same road where he dropped ishita.his hand start shivering seeing the news.an unknown fear of something happened to her scared him to death.
He start getting hyper,he stated feeling suffocated seeing the body of girl.he was trying to get a glimpse of the girl to see whether she is ishita or not but couldn't see as her face was smashed.
He closed his eyes not able to see the body anymore and just turn to go out when he saw her getting inside the room.
Ishita went to raman and said-sorry sir,act...,she couldn't complete as he took her in a bone crushing hug and cried saying-thank god u r fine.main bahut darr gaya tha.
Ishita was completely stunned by his action and was thinking why he hugged her,when he realised what he is doing.he immediately broke the hug and said-dimaag kharab hai tumhara.kahan thi itni der.ek call tak nahi kiya.u know how worried I was for u,u know when I saw that news of death of a young girl in white,pata hai kitne bure bure khayal aaye.he was saying with wobbly voice when she hugged him tight and caressed his back.
Raman couldn't say anything just hugged her back.both were in same position for some time.ishita was consoling him while he was just hugging her tight like his life depends on her.
After few minutes,he realised how close he is to her.he broke the hug in a jiffy and said trying to be composed-actually I don't have anyone,toh mujhe kisi ke dur jaane ke ehsaas se bhi darr lagta hai.i am sorry if I get overboard.but I was just worried for u.he said looking down when ishita said-do don't need to explain sir.i know how much u think about others.abhi Nikita mili thi,she told me that u told her to go as her child is small.aapne khana bhi nahi khaya.can I ask why.she said keeping her hand on her waist.
Raman-no,u can't ask.he said making a cute face.
Ishita smiled and said-aur kyun nahi puch sakti.
Raman-tum mujhe chod kar kyun gayi.
Ishita look at him all confused.
Raman-aise ghoor kya rahi ho.tum caretaker ho naa meri,phir mujhe akela chod kar kyun gayi.itni der lagayi,mujhe kuch ho jaata toh.pehle toh kal se maalik maalik bol kar mujhe pareshan karti rahi aur aaj aise chod kar jaa kar pareshan kiya,koi aisa karta hai kya apne maalik ke saath.he said cutely making ishita smile.
Raman look at her and said-ab hans kyun rahi ho.am I looking like a clown.
Ishita came closer abd said-not clown but someone jisse main jaanti hi nahi.kahan chupa rakha tha yeh raman.jo bachchon ki tarah bachkani baatein karta hai.kyun chupa rakha tha.
Raman looked away listening to this abd asked making a serious face-itni der kaise hui.
Ishita-woh accident ke kaaran der ho gayi.aap tak pahunchne ke saare raaste bandh the,phir bhi maine raasta dhoodh hi liya.ab kahin nahi jaaungi aap ko chod kar.
Raman smiled a little and said-i am hungry.
Ishita-main abhi khana laati hoon.saying so she went to the kitchen while raman settled himself on the couch.
He was thinking how effortlessly she always changed his gloomy mood .how easily she make him smile and behave childishly with her.he was thinking when she appeared with the food.
Ishita-ab aap ekdum achche bachche ki tarah baithe aur khana khaye.now no talking only eating OK.
Raman nodded saying OK,and soon she served him food.he was about to have a bite when he asked-did u had anything.
Ishita-aap khao,i will eat afterwards.
Raman-kyun baad mein khaogi.abhi khao.he said insisting.
Ishita smiled and settled down to have her food.they have their meal together and then ishita went taking their plates and other utensils.
After ten minutes,she came with a glass of milk but he was already slept on the couch .he was hugging himself ,ishita smiled seeing him.she went to him and took out his spects and said shaking him a little-sir,bed par so jaiye.
Raman opened his droppy eyes abd ishita took him to bed.she covered him fully and caressed his hair lovingly.she got up to go but turned again,pecked his forehead softly and went to her room switching off the light.
Soon ishita was in her bed thinking about their first hug.
Ishita-the way he was hugging me,it was something more then just concern.is he growing some feelings for me.i really wish sachme main unhe achchi lagne lagun aur woh mujhe hamesha ke liye apna bana lein.thinking about him for long ,she finally slept.
Next morning,raman opened his eyes hearing her sweet voice.he saw she was opening the curtains saying good morning.
He saw she was wearing a white Chikan suit with chudidaar while her long hairs were open falling till her waist.a smiled spread on his face seeing her like this but he was bit sad seeing her in all white.
Getting no response she said again-maine kaha good morning sir.
Raman-good morning ishita.tumne white kapde kyun pehne,u know u look more good in colours specially blue.
Ishita-aapko blue pasand hai.
Raman-thats my favourite colour.
Ishita-toh pehente kyun nahi.u will look good.
Raman-i think we have discussed it earlier.
Ishita-then I think we have also discussed about my wearing white.go and get ready.main breakfast mein aalu ke paranthe banwa rahi hoon.saying so she went glaring at him.
Raman shaked his head and went to washroom.after half an hour he came into his room and opened his cupboard to wear his clothes and was stunned to see an empty cupboard.it didn't took him a minute to guess that who can do it.he screamed on top of his voice-ishita,come to my room now .
Ishita heard it and smiled.she composed herself and went to his room abd said making a innocent face-yes sir.
Raman-mere kapde kahan hai.
Ishita-mujhe kya pata,main aapki caretaker hoon aapke kapdon ki nahi.she said making the most innocent face she can.
Raman-dont try to lie,i know u have done something to my clothes.
Ishita-woh ,woh white clothes.woh toh maine laundry mein de diye.
Raman-but why.
Ishita-woh gande the .she said fluttering her eyelashes.
Raman-saare,ek saath.
Ishita nodded in yes.
Raman-now what will I wear.meri meeting hai important.
Ishita-why to fear when ishita is here.main deti hoon aapko kapde.saying so she went and bring two shopping bags.
Ishita-isme aapke liye bahut kapde hai.
Raman look at the shopping bags and said-so tum yeh lene gayi thi kal.
Ishita nodded in yes.
Raman-but bill kaise diya.
Ishita-maine kaha aapke ghar bhej de,woh bill clear kar denge.
Raman-and they agreed.
Ishita-yes ,coz they thought we r husband wife.with the way I was pestering u and u were denying.sirf pati hi aisa karte hai.
Raman-tumhe nahi lagta tum meri achchai ka kuch jyada hi fayda utha rahi ho.
Ishita -aisa kar rahi hoon kya main.she said innocently making him smile.
Raman-u know ,main iske kaaran tumhari salary bhi kaat saakta hoon.
Ishita-kaat lijiye,i don't want anything else then being near to u and taking care of u.she said looking deep into his eyes.
Raman looked at her back with same passion and said-aisa kyun.
Ishita looked down and said-i think u r smart enough to know the reason.saying so she was going but turned and said-btw green is my favourite colour.saying so she went smiling while he too smiled for reason unknown to him.
After a while raman came down wearing a green shirt with black formals while saw her arranging table for him wearing a blue anarkali.
