Chapter 65
Kalpi entered the hotel and turned back to wave a bye but was disappointed to find that Raghav was not at the car window waving at her with his naughty eyes and his standard lip bite😉. Ouch! Though Kalpi, never did I think it would hurt so much if Raghav would be upset with me. What is wrong with me? I always end up disappointing people I love and who love me! Aai is also disappointed in me and now I have managed to wake up Raghav Sir's Khadoosiyat! Great job Kalpi! Tujhe toh medal milna chahiye swimming mein nahi saare rishton ko doobane ke liye! hmmph... Tears brimming in her eyes she looked around to see of anyone noticed her rambling and marched towards her room.
As she opened the room it was dark which reminded her she had to insert the card to bring electricity and she did so remembering to secure the door lock as she was still apprehensive about her safety in an unknown place. As she turned around, she was mesmerised with the decor in the room. The room was full of yellow and white orchids! And on the bed she found a gift box, her heart missed a beat when she saw all of this.
Oh Raghav! She went around the room liesurely touching the flowers with a smile on her face and remembering her sweet moments with Raghav. She then opened the packet and found a beautiful evening gown which was perfect according to her taste, not too flamboyant and not too plain. It even had a box with beautiful earrings and Kalpi nodded her head...spendthrift Raghav! How many times will I wear earrings like this? And then she bit her tongue! Tu bhi na Kalpi...women cry that their husbands dont buy them gifts and here you are complaining because your husband is busy making you feel special!
Soon she decided to get fresh and wear the dress... did Raghav plan all this before we argued? While pondering what to do? she found a piece of paper in the box and thinking it must be the receipt picked it up and opened it to find a letter. It was not signed by anyone just written that she is to wear this and wait for Raghav at the restaurant lounge on the mezzanine poolside area.
Kalpi was excited and drove away her unwanted worries..I have to look my best! Soon she was all ready in two hours. She had just tied up her hair in a messy bun and chose to wore just a lip gloss as Raghav didnt like lipsticks...they stain my shirt Kalpi!
She giggled recalling those moments when he used to get finicky about the lipstick stains though personally she felt great wearing the bright red lipstick that Maya had recommended her to use back then.
Holding her mobile in her hand she went to the poolside and informed the stewardess her room number. The lady smiled at her and took her to a corner of the poolside with gazebo with beautiful settee and table. Please be seated Madam, sir will be here in a short while!
Kalpi looked around and found a few hotel guests here and there. Her eyes desperately looking for Raghav near the entrance... that is when she felt his presence with a wave of breeze brushing her hair on her face. Beautiful music flowed to her ears and she felt her heart come to a still as she heard his deep voice with such intensity.

This time he sang it with such intensity and perfect with the right lyrics and the right note. He sounded so melodious that it touched the chords of her heart. Her heart felt heavy as though it got blown up like a balloon with love, pride and mixed feelings. It would burst if she did not touch him and make her self safe in the cocoon of his warm embrace. She wanted to be in his arms. She felt her lower abdomen buzzing with excitement. Goosebumps erupted all over her body and she shivered a bit. She was unable to move from her seat or even bat her eyelids, she did not want to miss the view of her husband singing for her! He loved her so much and this, is what she wanted throughout her life!
Raghav's image suddenly blurred from her eyes and she felt two hands hold her face. Heyyy! He said! Shhh! Why are you crying? Please dont tell me I was that bad! I meant to give you a surprise not make you sad! I am sorry I will not sing from mmmppp... She had kissed him with all that she had. She had to, because with what she felt, she was at loss for words and she was sure this is what heaven felt like. In his arms, his lips on hers was all she wanted. She loved him so much but he never failed to show her how much he loved her too. This from a man who had not known what love is?
They kept kissing till they lost their breath and had to pull apart for air! Raghav was surprised at her bold gesture and was also thrilled! I love you Raghav she whispered...and I want nothing else from God! I am blessed to have you in my life and as my life partner. You do so much for me and yet all I do is disappoint you! I am so so sorry for what I said earlier. I love you and I love being touched by you. It makes me feel beautiful, wanted and special!
I love you too Kalpi, my wild cat! They both started laughing and she hit him on his chest playfully. Ok lets eat something I am starving.
By the way when did you learn to sing that song so well? asked Kalpi watching Raghav savor his wine. She felt tingly all over. Her hunger for food was no longer there but she was certainly hungry for something else. She blushed at her own thoughts and tried to look away...when Raghav held her chin making her look into his eyes again. I love it when you look at me like you are going to hunt me and devour me...and I cant wait to be your kill tonight. They both shared a knowing smile and he watched her as she ate her lasagna. As the sauce spilled past her lips, his expressions changed and she saw him taking slow breaths.

She licked the sauce and he groaned shifting in his seat. Picking up a glass of water, drank all of it. Lets go he said, dragging her, holding her hand.
