Part 29:

The next day was a lazy one. The aftermaths of the overwork were now being experienced. Both were extremely tired. Overall it was lazy Friday. While Shivaay was busy catching up on the stocks news and the stock market. Anika lazed around and caught up on her favorite serial's forum.

A small celebration party was arranged in the office on Saturday evening.

Everyone was cheerful and happy at their company's last assignment. Anika gave a long thank you speech to all her employees making special mention of Saumya and Dev. Shivaay expected somewhere down in his heart, his name. But it never came. Anika turned to him, asking him to say something. He gave a small typical boss speech, contrary to Anika's informal one, where she spoke as if to her friends.

They all cut a small cake. Then Anika presented small gifts to Saumya and Dev each. Saumya loved the headphones, Anika gifted. She was the best boss ever who knew every employee like a friend. Shivaay was amazed at her this gesture. As he stood aside, Anika gathered attention for an announcement. He looked up to her, now what was she about to say he wondered.

Anika-"So..maine socha hai..aaj se humari company is going to be called "AAYKA" "everyone clapped.

She signed the papers, everyone dispersed into small groups chattering away eating.

Anika walked up to Shivaay who stood aside, still wondering about her sudden decision to change the company's name. She came up before him and smiled. He returned a small smile.

Anika-"Thank you. Iss poore project ka credit aapko jaata hai..! Can't thank you enough." He simply pasted a formal proud smile.

Anika grinned at him.

Shivaay-"Well...couldn't ...have...done it...without YOU."

She stares at him. He stares at her. Smiling she extends the file towards him. He raises his eyebrow questioningly.

Anika-"Name change affidavit ..company ke co-owner ki bhi sign jaruri hai.!"

Shivaay smiles."Waise achanak se naam change...?"

Anika -"Aap ke liye yeh chota sa gift toh banta hai.. in fact HUMARE liye...AayKa...Shivaay aur Anika...hai naa awesome idea." She exclaims cheerfully

He taken a back smiles. "Itna pyaar mujh par..?"

Anika-"matlab..?" she asks baffled.

Shivaay-"A A Y...3 letters aur ka sirf do letters..!" he was pulling her leg and playing along.

Anika-"Wo...A jo starting mein hai naa wo Anika ka A hai..aapke naam ka nahi...!"

Shivaay grins-"Really?"

Anika-"Of course.."

Shivaay-"Tum ne yeh mere liye kiya..??"

She thinks to herself-"yeh aise kyun baat...kahin flirt..nahi...aise flirt karte hain kyaaa?"

Anika cleverly answers -"arey bhalai ka toh zamana hi nahi raha...maana main kabhi kahi argue karti hoon aap se...par ab Main yahan dosti ki tarah baat kar rahi hoon aur aap mujhe dushman ka darjaa de rahe hai...SSO...stone singh Oberoi..."

He chuckles .. "Thank you...it...it..means a lot.." he says looking down hoping she doesn't notice his moist eyes. Her sweet gesture had touched him, how he missed his loved ones only he knew, and today he felt that there was someone who cared, someone who was there for him. She had noticed the changed tone in his voice. She held his hand, he looked up. A tear in his eye at the verge of falling. Without thinking, she hugged him. The tear finally trickled down. He placed his right hand on her shoulder, hesitantly.

Shivaay-"thank you..!"

Anika breaking the hug-"Janab dosti ka ek usool hai no sorry no thank you samjhe aap."

Shivaay wipes the lone tear and putting up a smile-"Acha wo kab hui?"

Anika confused -"kya!?"

Shivaay-"Friendship..!"

Anika glares at him one hand on her waist the other pointing at him.."SSO...sadu stone Oberoi..aapka na kuch nahi ho sakta hai...kyunki Tadi toh aapki girlfriend hai...wo bhi mughalon ke time se...toh aap usse kaise chod sakte hain..hainaa...Tadibaaz..hhuu.." turns to walk.

Shivaay-"Acha...ok..Sorry...lekin what's this Tadi...Sadu...Shivaay ...thats my name S.H.I.V.A.AY...Shivaay..!

Anika-"phir sorry...meri zaban meri marzi..mera dost main jo chahe boloon...logic..." she walks towards others smiling.

"Anika...!"

She turns smiling.

He smirks-"FILE...maine sign nahi kiya..!"

She feels stupid at herself and hands it to him and then starts walking away blabbing something to herself. Shivaay raises his right eyebrow smirking-"Ouch..this girl is crazy." Smiling he signs the file.

Everyone enjoyed. As they decided to wrap the party, most had already left a handful remained, Saumya asked for attention.

Saumya-Anika...you are the most awesome boss...i mean you and Sir are the best."

Anika smirks at her addition to the statement, giving Shivaay a short sidelong glance who stood right beside her.

Saumya-"we have a small gift for u both.."

Shivaay looks at Anika she was surprised too.

Anika-"iss sabki..."

Saumya-"Offo Anika..its really a small gift."

Saumya extends a huge envelope.

Anika was about to take it when Saumya spoke up -"its for you Both.." Shivaay extends his hand as well, and both accept it together.

Shivaay-"Open it.."

Anika excitedly opens. And then gives a long stare at the paper on her hand.

Saumya-"pasand aaya..?

Shivaay takes it from her and reads.

"Coupons for a couple Spa...at The Rosewood Spas..!"

Anika looks up thinking what to say.

Shivaay-" Nice choice...Rosewood is the Best..!" he says casually. Anika looks up to him.

Saumya-"You like it...great..! Ab kal Sunday hain...and so we thought that this was the best thing, you guys totally deserve a relaxing break."

Shivaay smiles and looks up to Anika's animated face.

Saumya-"Ok...so chalee...Have an awesome weekend.Good Night...Sir."

Shivaay-"Good night."

All disperse.

As they settle in the car.

Anika-"Nice choice" she mimics him. He looks at her amusingly.

"Kya zarurat thi aapko accept karne ki...wahan bhi tadi maaarna shuru...aap thodi der ke liye...

Shivaay-"Shut up...enough of this tadi..tadi..! And by the way Rosedwood is the most exotic Spa."

Anika folds her hands."Spa...meri juti...yeh couple massage...n all... chii..!"

Shivaay widens his eyes so the couple part of it was what had been irking her. "Don't worry who main usse singles kar waa dunga tomorrow morning. Aur spa main chii kya hai..?"

Anika thinks what to say..she hated to loose the word battle.

Shivaay studying her expression-"Tum pehle...Spa jaa chuki hoo..!???"

Anika looks at him like a caught up "nahi..lekin mujhe.."

Shivaay-"there you go..! Hw can you say just like that...pehle experience karo phir baat karo..!"

Anika-"Main nahi chalne waali.."

Shivaay -"Kyun.. ? Spa hai...ghopst house nahi.! Waise bada kehti phirti ho...main sab try karti hoon..main aise main wo.."

Anika-"main nahi darti...main darati hoon...!"

Shivaay-"Toh theek hain...kale ek din mere hisaab se jee ke dehko...jaise maine tumhare hisaab se jiya..!"

Anika-"O.K...lekin aap ne kab mere style se.."

Shivaay-"U gotta bhi kidding me...cycle rickshaw...auto...sabji market..! jab se tumse mila hoon tab se mujhe khud ko yakeen nahi hta hai ki main Shivaay Singh Oberoi hoon.!"

Anika-"Yeh compliment hai yaan taana..!???"

Shivaay parks the car in the apartment-"Jo bhi samajh naa chaao...I hope you dnt have plans of staying in here the entire night." He gets out and starts walking towards the lift.

Anika-"Yeh...kaisi paheli hain..! Tadibaaz do in nahi ruk sakte thee..!" gets out and walks in hurried steps to catch up with him.

Next will sure be long.(Give me time to write..mostly by sunday..)
