Ishra looked at each other when ishita said- nahi aisa nahi ho sakta,appa told me that my baby died.woh mujhse itna bada jhooth nahi bol sakte.aur main bahut weak thi bhi.ho sakta hai mera bachcha sach mein mar...,she couldn't say anything further as words died in her mouth.
Raman- ho sakta hai yeh sach na ho ishita,ho sakta hai tumhare appa ne tumse jhooth bola ho.after all he don't want the baby.
Ishita- itna bada jhooth Raman,no I can't believe.woh appa hai mere,mujhse mera bachcha kaise chin sakte hai.no he can't do that .nahi kar sakte woh aisa.she said adamantly wiping her tears.
Raman hide her in himself understanding the pain she is going through thinking her appa cheated her.
Raman- OK if u don't want to know the truth.hum nahi janenge,waise bhi ruhi toh hamari baby hi hai.he said caressing her back.
Ishita was just hiding in him trying hard not to cry.
After sometime,
Ishita- but I am a mother,it's my right to know about my child.agar sach mein ruhi hamari bachchi hui toh.she said looking at Raman.
Raman- what u want jaan.
Ishita- I want my baby Raman,agar woh zinda hai,theek hai.then I want my baby .mujhe mera bachcha chahiye.usse gale se lagaana hai mujhe.I want to hide her in me.mujhe sach janna hai,kya sach mein ruhi hamari bachchi hai.she said with moist eyes.
Raman- then I think we should go to belgaum.wahin saare sawalon ka jawaab milega.
Ishita nodded in yes and went to pack their bags.after an hour they were on way to belgaum.the distance was long and ishita was getting tired so they took a room in the way to rest for the night.
At night,ishita was sitting while ruhi was sleeping in her lap.her eyes were fixed on ruhi while ruhi was holding her finger tightly even in deep sleep.thats when Raman entered the room .seeing ishita is deep thought,he asked- kya soch rahi ho.
Ishita- I think we r doing wrong.
Raman- matlab.
Ishita- matlab yeh ki ruhi hi woh hai jisne aapko zindagi di,mujhe maa hone kaa ehsaas diya,hume ek kiya.aur ab hum apne bachche ki talaash mein nikal gaye hai.yeh galat hai naa.
Raman- main kuch samjha nahi.he said sitting beside her.
Ishita- matlab ki agar ruhi hamari bachchi nahi hui toh kahin hamara pyaar uske liye kam naa ho jaaye.Raman kahin hum apni ruhi ke saath injustice toh nahi kar rahen.kahin hum selfish toh nahi ho rahe.she said caressing ruhi's cheek.
Raman- yeh kya bol rahi ho.we r just going to know ki ruhi hamari bachchi hai ki nahi.agar hogi toh yeh bahut khushi ki baat hogi aur agar kahin nahi hui toh bhi yeh toh hamari jaan hai.naa,toh injustice ki baat kahan se hui.
Ishita nodded in yes and hugged ruhi tight saying- bachchu mumma Papa loves u alot.aap hamari beti ho chahe naa ho aap hamesha hamari jaan rahogi. sun rahi ho aap rooh ,aap hamesha mumma papa ki jaan rahogi.she said and showered numerous kisses on her small face.
Raman saw this and took ishita is side hug- I am understanding ur dilemma very well jaan.but trust me everything will change only for good .ruhi hamesha hamari hi bachchi rahegi whether she is biologically ours or not.saying so he pat her to sleep.soon all three were sleeping cuddled in each other.
Next day ,ishra start their journey early morning as they want to reach belgaum asap.after a drive of around eight hours they reach belgaum.
They went to chinnama taayi house to get information about their baby but to their bad luck,their house was locked.
Ishita- jarur woh log hospital gaye honge.chaliye hospital chalte hai.
Raman- chalo.saying so they drive to the naturopathy centre. They entered the hospital in a jiffy only to found his doctor.Raman went to him.doctor was too happy to see raman alright and talked with him about his health.Raman too greeted him and talk to him.then asked him about chinamaa taayi.
Doc- woh,she died two months ago.she got heart attack.
Raman- oh that's so bad,and where is hari,her son.
Doc- usne toh shayad job chod di.taayi ki death ke baad hi ,he left the job and went to other city with his wife.
Raman- kahan gaye kuch pata hai.
Doc- sorry I don't know. Had to rush ,mere patients wait kar rahe hai.anyway it's nice meeting u.saying so he went leaving a tensed ishra.
Ishita- woh log toh nahi hai,ab kahan se sach pata karenge Raman.
Raman- let me think.he said and start thinking.after thinking for few minute,he said again- let's go to the orphanage, ho sakta hai kuch information mil jaaye.
Ishita- chaliye, saying so they went to orphanage but to their bad luck they couldn't find any information about the ruhi as Raman himself bribed hari to remove all the information about ruhi.
Raman- kahin kuch nahi mila,ab kya Karen.
Ishita- I think we should take a room here first,ruhi has wet her clothes.she need a bath,chaliye usse freshen up Kara lein.kuch kha liya jaaye,let me feed her.then we should start our search again.
Raman- OK let's go.pehle ruhi uske baad sab kuch.naa princess.he said kissing her while she was just looking at Raman with her big eyes.
Soon ishra checked in a hotel.ishita gave ruhi massage and bath while raman ordered food for them.ishita made ruhi ready making her wear a pick romper along with her a pink hairband, socks and shoes and said- see Papa,how ruhi is looking.
Raman turn to saw her and a serene smile crept on his face seeing his little princess laughing opening her toothless mouth.
Raman- meri jaan toh ekdum princess lag rahi hai.come to Papa jaan.he said opening his arms.
Ishita- first let me feed her,she is hungry. Saying so ishita start feeding ruhi.after a while the waiter came with the food.
Raman took the food and sat beside ishita.he was eating and feeding her also.very soon ruhi slept in ishita's arms.she put ruhi in her shoulder and pat her till she burped .then they finish their food.
Ishita gave ruhi to Raman and said- aap ruhi ko sula dijiye,main bhi fresh up ho jaaun.
Raman nodded and make her sleep on the bed and covered her properly with the quilt.he went to change planting a feathery kiss on her forehead.
Ishita came out and was taking out a salwar suit when Raman hugged her from back and said- wear a saree today.wanna see u in saree.he said planting a feathery kiss on her shoulder making her moan.she closed her eyes tilting her head giving him more access.he rubbed his lips on her neckline making her weak on her knees.she leaned on him surrendering herself. He start dropping wet kisses on her neckline, she could not take it more ,she turned to him in a jiffy and hide in him.Raman realises their position,he step backward breaking the hug.ishita went closer wanting more.
Raman caressed her hair lovingly and said planting a feathery kiss on her forehead- get ready jaan.
Ishita look at him with questioning eyes.
Raman-aise,nahi first let me take u and ruhi to maa Papa.woh maan jaaye tab hi hum aage badhenge.we will take our relationship ahead only when we get married legally.OK.
Ishita nodded and start getting ready.she wore a blue saree,braided her hair in a simple braid ,applied kohl and light shade of lipstick.she took the box of sindoor in her hand and was wondering to apply it or not when Raman came from behind and said- hum apni relationship aage nahi le jaayenge but that doesn't mean ki tum meri biwi nahi.u r my wife and u have full right to wear ur symbols of marriage.saying so he applied sindoor in her partition and make her wear mangalsutra with a small bindi on her forehead.
Raman- now u r looking like my perfect wife.chalein.saying so he was going when ishita pulled him to her and hugged him tight.Raman smiled and pecked her forehead lovingly.
After sometime ,they broke the hug and ishita wrapped ruhi in a teddy baby wrap.
Ishra went to the hospital where ishita delivered the baby.they went to the record Dept and bribed the compounder to show them the record of 21 Nov.
He checked thoroughly and said- no pateint of ishita name was admitted that day and many babies were born that day,so I can't tell.
Raman bribed him a little more and told him to investigate.
C- OK let me think.saying so he went and after half an hour came with a nurse.
C- yeh delivery karwati hai,doctor ke saath.may be she know anything.
Ishita- do u remember me,I gave birth to a baby girl on 21st of November.mera naam ishita hai.
Nurse look at her thoroughly and said- I don't remember.
Ishita- try to remember, I was badly hurt coz I fell off the stairs.with me there were two ladies and two men.
N- tum chinnama taayi ke saath aayi thi.
Ishita- yes yes.
N- yes I remember u,u were badly hurt.but tumhara naam toh mitali bataya tha unhone.
Ishita- my name is ishita,ho sakta hai unhone galat bataya ho.
N- woh tumhare father the naa Jo tumhe behoshi mein hi le gaaye the.
Ishita- yes yes.
N- I remember u,kya jaanna hai.
Ishita- about my baby.
N- hum kya jaane,usse toh chinnama taayi le gayi thi.
Ishita- matlab woh zinda thi.
N- haan,thodi weak thi,but she was alive.bahut sundar thi,gori si,big big eyes.ekdum tumhari tarah.
Ishra look at each other happily and asked showing ruhi- is this the baby.
Nurse look at ruhi and then at them.
Nurse- tum log pagal hai kya,apna bachcha haath mein le kar ghoomta hai aur humse puchta hai.
Raman- matlab yeh hamari bachchi hai.he asked excitedly.
N- tumhare haath mein hai toh tumhari hi hogi naa.
Raman- no no u r not understanding, iske appa ne kaha that our baby died.I got this baby on same day from somewhere else.now I want to know that is it our child.aap pehchaan rahi hai isse.
N- how can I ,I saw the baby when she was just a day old and this baby is almost three months old,main kaise pehchanungi.
Raman- koi aur raasta sach jaanne ka.
N- toh DNA test Kara lo.it will take a week time but tum logon ko sach pata chal jayega.
Raman- koi jaldi tareeka,I mean any birth mark of our baby.
N- record mein hoga.saying so she checked the record and said- koi birth mark toh nahi tha,but uske head mein ek chota saa cut tha,kyunki uski mother stairs se gir gayi thi.right in the middle of her head.
Raman- was it deep.
N- no deep nahi tha,but woh chota baby tha naa,so it was evident.humne bandage bhi kiya tha.and then we have given the baby to chinnama taayi.
Raman- woh abhi bhi hoga kya.
N- yes ,woh rahega hamesha.dard nahi hoga but mark hamesha rahega.
Ishra was too happy to know that they can now know about ruhi being their baby.they thanked them and went out of the hospital.
Their hearts were beating fastly as they r going to unveil the biggest secret of their life.
They settled on the bench ,ishita looked at Raman,Raman looked at ishita.they hold each other's hands in tension and then slowly removed the baby wrap to see the mark on ruhi's head.
