That figure looked at Kalpana and sighed. "I am back Kalpi, and this time I am here not for leaving. Just a little wait more...then you will be with me" he then clutched his right hand into a tight fist. Frustrated he turned his back towards the building before giving one last look to Kalpi's figure in the balcony. Raising one hand, he mentally caressed Kalpi then turned his back again. Slipping from his other hand, a white rose fell to the earth. The man looked down at it, resisting the urge to stomp it down. After all, as he understood, he always used to bring one white rose for his precious Kalpi. He couldn't crush it, he'd already let fate crush his happiness once. Now he won't allow anyone, even himself to crush his or his Kalpi's happiness.

He won't be a coward, not anymore. Once again soon he shall be able to touch Kalpi and that day will come soon. "I know it" he thought, "Just wait for me doll."

"And...you too" man gave one look to Kalpana's home/flat and made all the inhabitants a promise.

"I'll just have to keep away from Raghav Singhania's eyes"

The world had been a party floor lately and each moment a chance to celebrate, rejoice for Kalpi and Raghav. Somehow Kalpana too was gradually adjusting to the media attention and overflowing love of fans. So she was in the best of happy places emotionally right now. Though sometimes too much of good times like these did scared her. "It's too good to be true" Kalpi would think often, praying to God for protecting these jubilant times and smiles on all their faces.

Just like now, she and Raghav were once again seen sitting together by their colleagues on the studio sets. It was time for a short tea-break. Therefore, Raghav and Kalpana had decided to check some of their social media notifications; messages by fans. Seeing so much love both of their faces were adorned by big smiles stretched ear to ear.

Some fans had posted edits of photos of their whole family from the images of engagement ceremony released to the media by them. Pakhya and Akanksha's photos were also there, making Raghav & Kalpana pass a knowing glance between them. They'd caught up the two busy in a sweet argument on the day of their engagement with each of the two fighting over who from them both had said "I love you" first to the other. Raghav and Kalpana's jaws had almost dropped, seeing the visuals of Pakhya and Akanksha fighting chest to chest on the issue of love. Their shocked faces had turned into teasing smirks when both Akanksha and Pakhya had blushed on seeing their siblings as witnesses.

"Seems like Aai & Tai will soon find yet another reason to celebrate and organize a function" Kalpi had said and Raghav had agreed with her. "Yes, PaKsha in making" he'd said and Kalpi had made a face at the nickname Raghav had given to Pakhya and Akanksha.

"Par wo chhodo" (But leave that) Raghav had started holding Kalpi's fingers. "Mujhe toh is baat ki khushi hai ki mujhe tum se romance karne ke aur shaandar mauke milenge. Get ready with a little gift of love to me" (I am happy because I will get more awesome chances of romancing with you. Get ready with a little gift of love to me) Raghav had murmured huskily in Kalpi's ears and winked. Kalpi had blushed and struggled to remove her fingers from Raghav's hold, "Woh chhodo nahi, yeh chhodo" (Not that, leave this) Kalpi had said referring to her hand in Raghav's hold.

"Nopes, zindagi bhar ke liye haath pakda hai. Ab chhodne ka sawaal hi nahi uthta Kalpi. Tum meri ho Kalpi, sirf meri. Aur main tumhare sath humesha rahoonga" (Nopes, I've held your hand for whole life. Now there is no question of leaving it. You are mine Kalpi, only mine. And I will always be with you) Raghav's love words had reached Kalpi's ears and she'd again lost herself in the deep ocean of Raghav's eyes. Forgetting everything, she was blissfully lost in Raghav when a courier was delivered to them. It was from one of the fans Raghav and Kalpana; and sent via one of media channels.

Excitedly Kalpi had torn open the packets delivered thus, while Raghav watched in content the smile on her face. His eyes going to the gift box only when Kalpi had given a short squeal. A small bouquet of now almost wilted white roses laid inside the box along with a smaller box of chocolates.

On peeking more, Kalpi had found a short note too. "We will meet soon, again. Love you my angel; I am coming for you; to take you away with me". Her breaths had hitched in alarm. With widened eyes her gaze had met Raghav's curious one; which soon turned anxious on seeing the change in Kalpi's demeanour.

His right hand held Kalpi's left one in a tight grasp, while the left one was gripping on to the edges of table in front of them. "What do you mean you cannot do anything?" Raghav asked the DGP sitting in front of him in agitation. As soon as he'd read the note by anonymous fan, Raghav's protective instincts had come into action. Without wasting time, Raghav had managed to get an appointment with the DGP by evening. He'd hoped that the esteemed official will guide them; and maybe instruct the police officials to lodge a report quicker. But it was quickly turning out into a useless visit, only causing him more worry.

It was only Kalpi's presence with him which kept him somewhat calm. Taking deep breaths after Kalpi squeezed his hand; Raghav turned his attention to the reason being given to him for denial of support.

"Mr.Singhania, I understand your worries. I also want to help you. But, this note is quite vague. If it is really meant as a threat or it is some crazy fan's declaration of love; it is not clear with this note. It is not enough to take any legal action. Please understand...maybe if the person had really tried something; or sent a clear threat Ms.Kalpana's way then we could do something. But now..."

"What? What do you mean? That Kalpana needs to get hurt first, before you agree to do anything? Let me tell you Mr.Parikar, Kalapana is Raghav Singhania's fiancee. I will burn the whole world before anyone dares to put even one scratch on her" Raghav's voice had almost boomed behind the closed doors.

"Mr.Singhania...it is nothing like that! I..." DGP Mr.Parikar started then closing his eyes sighed. Looking up he promised Raghav, "Okay, give me one day's time. I cannot do this alone. I will take your case for consultation with the other officials; and try to give Ms. Kalpana an official security cover. That way, some legal process will be started, while we investigate into this note."

Raghav considered this for a moment before agreeing. "Fine, I will personally reach out to you on this tomorrow. Even though I have my own security guards, but a police security will mean a lot. We will take your leave now" he'd told Mr.Parikar and left the premises with a cloud of worry still in his mind.

They'd decided not to tell their mothers anything about it yet. But both of them were still shocked and distressed. Unable to make out the origin of these sudden turn of events, both Raghav and Kalpana were each other's reassuring shoulder in these times of panic. It was night time now; Kalpi was in her bedroom. Her head was on Raghav's shoulder while his arms encircled her slender shoulders protectively. His head rested on hers and fingers gently brushed Kalpi's arms, more for cooling down his own heated mind.

Raising her head, Kalpi looked into Raghav's eyes. "Raghav..." she murmured and he cupped her cheeks. "I love you a lot Kalpi. Promise me you will take care of yourself when I am not around. Promise to be alert all the time; promise to listen to me, please..." his voice and eyes pleaded Kalpi. She only nodded her head, "Maybe this is nothing Raghav, maybe we are scared for nothing. Maybe it will all go away..."

He sighed, "I wish so honeybee; I hope so..." Raghav had replied. But all their efforts to secure their hearts had gone in vain when after half an hour, he'd crossed Jadhavs' threshold and found a white rose at the door. Picking it up, his eyes were stuck on it. As he turned his head to look for Kalpi, found that her eyes wore the same look, as his eyes. His fingers had immediately clutched on to Kalpi's fingers, their unsaid words voicing it all. That the wait for tomorrow was going to be a long one, until the police protection was assured to them.

They knew, that Raghav would leave no stone turned. He'd hire more security guards privately, to be with Kalpi like a ghost at all times. But there was the little fact that Kalpi was not keen to alert her Aai or make her worry with the guards' presence in their home too. So she'd only agreed that the guards will accompany her only when she'd sat in the car and was on her way. This little voice of discord between Raghav and Kalpana, was something Raghav had not liked at all.

"Why don't you understand?" he had whispered angrily; now that they stood just outside Jadhavs' flat. "I cannot take any risk with you; I cannot Kalpi!" he'd said and Kalpi had kept a gentle hand on Raghav's arm. "Nothing will happen to me Raghav. When you are with me; and it is the matter of only a few meters. But I cannot see worry on my Aai's face unnecessarily."

"But Kalpi..." Raghav started but had to stop on seeing the adamant look on Kalpi's face.

"Fine!" he said, "Just for you and Kamla Maa. But if something happens to you then..." he huffed angrily unable to complete the sentence. Taking deep breaths, he hugged her tight and left, with hopes for some good news the next day.

With a relieved smile on his lips, Raghav's car was now turning a corner to reach the driveway to the building of Kalpana's apartment. He had a team of security guards with him in another car as his driver sped the car ahead. DGP Mr.Parikar had called him that morning to inform that after an emergency meeting with other officials last night, police protection was agreed to be provided to Kalpana. They'd get it by noon that day and Raghav could not have been happier. He was eager to see the same relieved smile on his honeybee's face when he gave her this news. Kalpana's apartment building was now in view and Raghav frowned seeing the vision ahead.

Kalpi was already waiting for him, standing outside the building. She'd felt so guilty to see so much distress on Raghav's face that she couldn't wait to see him and inform Raghav about the change in her decision. Concluding that it is best if their mothers also know about this, Kalpi wished to tell Raghav that from now on, she has no objection to any kind of security, anytime of the day. The eagerness to see Raghav had led Kalpi to wait for him outside her building only moments before he was to arrive. She smiled now, seeing Raghav's car about to pull up. Hesitantly Raghav had smiled back at her, even though he hadn't liked the fact of Kalpi again being careless for her safety.

With her eyes on Raghav, Kalpi hadn't seen another sedan driving into the picture. Apparently the crisscross of inner lanes gave any car too much access points. Before Raghav's car could pull upfront, near Kalpi; this new car had come in between them. Coming to a stop just in front of her two masked men had quickly gotten hold of Kalpi's arms before she could gather her senses or react. "Kalpi..." a panicked voice of Raghav had reached her ears even as she started to struggle. With her futile efforts to free herself, before she was forced into the car Kalpi had turned her face back to see a running, agonized Raghav running in her direction. The security guards were right behind him; as he tried his best to reach her in time, to save Kalpi. A tear trickled down her face, as she managed to yell, "I Love You Raghav; I am sorry"; her last effort to give "her flower, her honey" something to smile about.
