Chapter 53 - Tha last battle
Arnav watched Demonio with a never ending shock. It was out of understanding and a strange feeling, a strange shock, reeled down his spine.
Demonio, the king of dark world, resembled Arnav in a way that was telling an unspoken story of past.
Demonio smirked as he watched with pleasure their shocked faces.
"What happened? Why are you so shocked?"Demonio asked pretending to be innocent
"you... Arnav" Khushi mumbled looking at Arnav and Demonio
"What relation do they have? Why do they resemble each other so much?" The only question that clouded each of their minds
"ahh now don't make a fuss of it am getting bored" Demonio said dramatically enjoying their situation
"whatever it is... You are not like Arnav so don't be happy about it" Said Khushi, angrily
"aww I got scared" Said Demonio mocking her with scared pretense
Demonio eyes changed into anger like a fire was set in them. He looked at them and hurled his attack towards Asad who dodged it at a nick of time.
That was the start a sign and they knew the last battle of life, for world has started and they have to win it.
Zoya quickly attacked back but her attack was weak in front of Demonio powers and it turned futile.
"is this what you have?" Demonio teased her before attacking her
Zoya and Demonio attacked at the same time, their power collid, Demonio being more powerful and king of dark world his power was strong and was superimposing Zoya's power when suddenly all the friends mixed their attacks with Zoya's attack giving it more power. The attack og friends mixed with Demonio own attack hit him hard pushing him to the wall that break into pieces.
Demonio growled in anger and attack again this time on Rishab who got injured on arm but still gave the reply of Demonio attack which was not of much use.
Demonio started to attack fiercely in the reply of futile attacks of the six. Subsequently, the six friends got tired and some injured too.
"oh it's really a cat fight! am bored of it now" Demonio rolled his eyes
The six looked at each other. They knew that Demonio was going to attack back that too strongly. They need to do something.
"guys I think we shouldn't attack just like this we should concentrate completely and then attack him maybe that works out" Khushi suggested
They nodded in agreement liking her idea. But before they could do anything Demonio attacked Khushi.
Khushi, to dodge his attack concentrated and used her power with all her might and attacked. Demonio attack went back on him only, hurting him and he growled in pain.
Everyone looked at each other and noded they knew what they have to do. They all attacked one by one and Demonio fell down.
The six walked towards him his head touching their feet.
"you are dead Demonio" Madhu said with anger
They all were about to attack together when Demonio shouted,
"Arnav! Will you kill your father?"
They stopped and looked at Demonio. They were shocked beyond words especially Arnav
Father! Wasn't it too much?
"you... You are lying" Arnav whispered not believing that his father could be so evil above that Demonio could be his father
"no Arnav am your father. I am sorry for what I did to your mother and her friends. They all believed me but I... I killed them all, am sorry. Am really repenting"Demonio said with an expression of remorse
Arnav frozed. His friends and wife supported him.
They all were busy processing the truth when Demonio stood up and attacked on them but Arnav got his intentions he turned and attacked back in fury.
Demonio laid dead. Demonio attack was powerful but Arnav attack was deadly and Demonio died, when fury mixed with pain then biggest things happen!
Arnav and others looked at dead Demonio shocked.
Suddenly walls start to crumble. The whole place was shaking. Arnav keep on looking at Demonio while all others start to look around observing the situation then they rushed to Arnav.
"Arnav... Let's go."Khushi said shaking Arnav
Arnav gaze was stilled on dead Demonio who declared himself his father. Others looked at each other and gulped the fear that start to arouse in there hearts. They again looked at Arnav who was all blank.
"Arnav chalo" Khushi dragged him
They dragged Arnav towards the door of 9th floor but found it close with fallen stones.
Then they all walked towards the window while Khushi was still dragging Arnav who was all blank and lost.
Rishab looked down from the window and find themselves too high to jump.
"we are trapped!" Rishab exclaimed
They looked at him except Arnav.
"we have to jump!" Asad shook his head rejecting Rishab idea
"but how?"Madhu asked
"air!" Zoya exclaimed looking at Asad who nodded
They all decided to jump as the whole building was almost crumbling down.
"we have to jump Arnav"Khushi whispered to Arnav
Arnav looked at Khushi and other towards them. Few seconds were remaining before the building could finally fall down as sand castle breaks. They all hold each other hands and jumped together.
Khushi cried in Zoya arms who was silently crying too. Others looked at them with tears. They couldn't see Khushi breaking down like this but they cannot do anything.
They all looked at the remains of palace with tears in their eyes and pain in their heart.
"we need to move from here Khushi or else we will be trapped. This place is Demonio spell and can stop us from going out after his death" Zoya said softly
"no... No am not going anywhere am not!" Khushi cried looking at the pieces of broken palace
"you are behaving like him Khushi we had lost him already we cannot afford to lose you Khushi" Asad told silently
"but how can I Asad? He is my husband. How can I left just like that? I know Arnav is alive I know" Khushi said between sobs
"Khushi he is dead. Look at this crumbled palace there is nothing left. He himself choosed this" Madhu told Khushi
"let's go Khushi. Come... for us" Rishab said supporting Khushi in standing up
Khushi stood up while crying heavily. Giving one last glance to place they teleport to the place where they left Dilshad
Khushi sit on the sofa like a lifeless body. She had lost her love, her husband, her Arnav. Tears flow from her eyes.
Kise poochun, hai aisa kyun
Bezubaan sa, ye jahaan hai
Khushi looked around her eyes filled with tears her heart heavy with pain.
Khushi ke pal, kahan dhoondoon
Benishan sa, waqt bhi yahan hai
Tears escaped from her eyes as she missed his presence as his absence hit her heart like someone stabbed it.
Jaane kitne labon pe gile hain
Zindagi se kayi faasle hain
Paseejte hain sapne kyun aankhon mein
Lakeer jab chhoote in haathon se yoon bewajah
Khushi cried bitterly as she remembered the most wrenchful moment when Arnav left her hand while they were jumping from window and he looked at her with small painful smile while she was in shock and horror. She remembered her hand moving to hold him back but place breaking down.
"Why did you do it Arnav why?" Khushi mumbled as she cry
Jo bheji thi duaa, woh jaake aasmaan
se yoon takra gayi ke aa gayi
Hai laut ke sadaa
Khushi cried remembering their marriage, the most beautiful part of her life that holds her life. Their small loving moment before marriage and teasing and laughing on their honeymoon. And his last sad smile before he vanished from her sight. She sobbed and weeped trying to kill the poisonous pain that was settling down in her heart.
Dilshad looked at her with sadness. Just now they reached home and others told her about Arnav. She felt really bad for her daughter and son whom she may not see again. Dilshad move towards Khushi and placed her hand on her head.
Khushi hugged her tightly and cried loudly. Her painful shrieks killing the once delightful mansion of their paradise.
Asad, Zoya and Madhu Rishab stood by each other with tears glistening in their eyes seeing Khushi.
They won the war but Demonio was the winner he won even after losing the war by leaving a scar on their lives that shall kill them every moment and eat their happiness alive. But then time doesn't stop for anyone!
