Part 56
Doctor gave some more instructions and was gone leaving surprised bhallas behind ,more than that a shocked Raman .But more than that he was happy ,he looked at his mother and spoke just three words " ma my baby ".
Toshiji nodded with happy tears in his eyes and opened her arms for raman .He hugged her and spoke " ma I m going to be father ,you dadi, papa dadu ,simmi bus and my this chotu is going to be mother .
All laughed listening to him ,all congratulated Raman ,he was happy but was confused ,thinking why ishita didn't told such big truth to him.
Toshiji was also surprised ,she went to Raman and asked " Raman puttar is everything OK between you two ".
R- haan ma we are good ,koi problem nahi hai ,but why are you asking this .
T- then why she hided such big and happy news from us .
Raman thought for a while and then spoke " ma you know her well ,and she is just 7 weeks pregnant ,may be she herself don't know about her pregnancy".
T( thinking deeply)- ho sakta hai ,let her rest ,but call me when she wake I have to talk to her .
Saying so all family members left the room leaving ishra alone .Raman glanced at ishita who was still sleeping, he went to her and spoke ,taking her hand in his" why did you do this jaan ,you know na how much I love you , you never think about me ,haina ".
Saying so she planted a soft kiss on her temple ,she turned to him and snaked her arms around his waist ,he smiled thinking she knows his touches in sleep also .He slid beside her and start caressing her forehead lovingly ,waiting eagerly for her to wake so that he can ask her the reason why she had not told her about her pregnancy. Yeah ,he was sure that she must be knowing about her pregnancy as he has been noticing changes in her .She was taking good care of herself and her diet from some days ,has been eating some medicine , was avoiding their love making from some days giving excuses that she is getting very tired these days ,he has also noticed that she is getting tired ,but he thought that may be this all is because she is taking care of everything together .House ,simmis baby ,and her studies,she was doing so much things ,so he thought that may be because of all these she is getting more tired and let her rest but now he come to know the actual reason of her behavior. But in all this he didn't forget to curse himself ,because he is the one who should take care of her as for her he is world, but he ignored her ,her health ,her condition ,her loneliness, he closed his eyes and a tear dropped from them thinking how ignorant he is towards her that she has hided such big thing ,such big news from her .
He recalled their arguments ,her pleads to have a baby, his excuses for not planning for baby and all .Everything added more to his guilt .He just closed his eyes and waited for her to woke , but before she woke he slept .
After sometimes woke ,she got up slowly and carefully ,she then look around and saw Raman sleeping beside her in sitting position resting his head on headboard ,holding her hand .She then recalled the incident and at the same time she also recalled that she fainted in the hall due to dizziness and along with that she also recalled that she had not told anyone about her pregnancy till now but now everybody must have known as they must have called doctor, more than anyone she was bothered and scared about Raman's expression .
She saw his sleeping figure ,she just leaned on his face and tried to read his expression by seeing frowns on his forehead and to give her tension, she saw some lines of worry on his forehead .She made a scared face and then started rehearsing to say sorry and woo him .She cupped his face and spoke showering numerous kisses on his face " I m sorry Raman ,I know you never wanted a baby now ,but its not my fault ,I didn't tried but it happen , please don't be angry ".
Then she made a face and spoke laying on him " nahi nahi ishu ,you should try something else .," She was talking to her and thinking ways to woo him when he opened his eyes ,looking to this she immediately closed her eyes pretending to sleep, scared of his scoldings.
Raman noticed this and smiled on his wife's cute antics ,he sat properly and along with him she also get in sitting position as she was leaning on him .He shook her and called her " ishita ishita ".
But she didn't responded as she was pretending to sleep ,he smiled again and spoke Lil loud " ishita enough ,now open your eyes I know you are
pretending ".
Ishita slowly opened her eyes and looked at him ,he was already looking at her ,both looked deeply into each others eyes and shared a beautiful intense eyelock ,they didn't broke the eyelock and at last their eyes blinked breaking their trance ,both still didn't said anything and hugged each other tight .They remain in same position for long time and then spoke in unison
" I m very sorry ".
Raman pulled her from him and spoke cupping her face " I m so sorry jaan ".
I- (keeping her palm on his )- why are you saying sorry its me who had done mistake ,its me who had hided the news from you .
R(kissing the back of her palm)- because I know there must be a very strong reason for your this step ,but I actually wanted to know reason for this ,jaan I know I was busy in my work ,was ignorant but still hamare beech mein itne differences to nahi the that you hided such big thing from me .
I( with teary eyes)- aren't you angry with me .
R- why would I be .
I- as you don't want baby now .
R- ( setting her in his lap ); yeah because I have my this baby but that doesn't mean that I will get angry for this . its my baby too .
I( happily )- you mean to say you are happy with this news .
R- ( pecking her cheeks); of course jaan I m becoming father and my chotu jaan is going to be mother .,(caressing her tummy )- my baby in my chotu baby's tummy .
Ishita hided herself shyly in him ,he pulled her from him and asked " now tell me exactly why you hided this from me and everyone. "
I- because I was scared.
R- sacred ? for what.
Ishita then narrated all her insecurities to him while his eyes widened in shock listening to him ,that she was thinking so much and going through such an turmoil. He hugged her near his heart spoke wiping her tears " ishita tum sach mein pagal ho ,like seriously you just know this much about your raman ,bad yahi pyaar hai .ishita how could you think so low for me ,that day I was just teasing you and you seriously thought that I will actually fling around if you get pregnant. and you thought that I will be angry on you ,why .
I( meekly )- because you are busy in business and is not busy for baby .
R- that doesn't mean that if you will get pregnant I will be angry or sad ,will scold you and will ignore you .I know I was wrong ,and I m very much guilty about that because I had ignored you in these days .I never took good care of you , thats why I lost your confidence but believe me now I will rectify all my mistakes ,I will take good care of you, I will be around you always .I will be your jinnie for all these days , you just wish and I will fulfill your wishes .
I-( with teary eyes)- I m sorry I thought wrong about you .
R- you should be ,how can you think like this about me and more than this because if this stupidity you yourself gone through so much ,you were doing everything along with taking care of yourself ,had you ever thought what if something would had happened ,just think that if this would had happened in your institute, agar koi nahi hota tumhare paas .ishita please jaan ,earlier also I told you now again I m telling ,bachcha you are not alone ,you are not leading a lone life but had while family behind you ,you have me behind you .you are not ishita iyer now buy ishita bhalla ,a wife ,a DIL ,a Sil and more than that my jaan .please its s request just think about me before doing all this stunts that may be I m not spending time with you but still you are my jaan and will remain my jaan .samjhi .
He was going on speaking while she was listening to him like a obedient kid.
He took her in his embrance and spoke
" ishita why are you silent speak something ".
I( wiping her tears )- I love you.
Raman smiled listening to her and spoke teasingly" but now I think you love someone more than me ".
I( shockingly); no raman nothing like that ,I only love you I swear .
R- achcha and what about my princess .
I( narrowing her eyes )- princess who princess.
R( caressing her tummy)- this princess.
I- ( smiling shyly )- I love her too (then after a while )- woh mere tummy mein hai then I will decide ,that it will be a girl or boy .
R- noways she is my baby so I will decide that who the baby will be boy or girl .
I- nothing like that ,aapko to chahiye bhi nahi tha ,I wanted baby so it will be my boy ,mumma ka prince .
R- ( smirking )- I think I should make some new girlfriends till you are pregnant .
I( snuggling into him ); I will kill all of them .
Raman smiled listening to her possessiveness and hugged her ,she raised her face and pecked his cheeks , while he bend down and captured her lips for a deep kiss ,soon both were lost in each other.
