"Stop being so over enthusiastic! I've kidnapped you, not the other way around!" Arnav croaked as Khushi kept on moving in his car. It was the next day after their little' fight. Khushi was getting impatient to reach home. Arnav had deduced that she actually knew nothing about the key and he agreed to let her go home on one condition. She would have to help him in his quest and she agreed.

"I want to get home the fastest," Khushi moaned. She had missed her home and she knew that her mum would be dead worried about her. She had no one apart from her mother after her father's death and she was attached to her.

"You've asked for it," Arnav chuckled as he increased the velocity of the moving car. He needed some time to think and the faster he dropped her at her place, the better it would be for the two of them, at least, for the time being.

After two hours, Khushi was back home and she had to lie to her mother who didn't quite believe her. Arnav had gone to the backyard of Khushi's library and informed her to meet him over there.

"So, you've got any updates about that stupid key of yours?" Khushi nonchalantly joked. Arnav fisted his hands. This was no child's play, the book shielded secrets and he had to know whatever those secrets were inorder to save his closed one's life, otherwise she would be gone.

"This is no f**king joke Khushi!" he thundered. The afternoon sky was dotted with red hues and the cold increased. Khushi clutched her coat as he marched towards her. She only wanted to slice up the tension, but she never imagined that he would get so worked up.

"You know what, just go to hell! Go wherever you want! I'm done with your tantrums, this is a matter of life and death!" he yelled as he stomped his feet in the snow-covered backyard. His voice echoed owing to the lack of material things.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know it was that important..." Khushi whispered, while keeping her head bowed. Arnav ran his hands through his hair and let out a grunt,"Khushi, please understand, we have no time to play around. I just need your help and after that, I'll be gone.." he said, his anger slowly evaporating. Khushi nodded.

"Arnav, just tell me why the key is so important to you. I mean, is there a treasure map in that book?" Khushi calmly stated.

"Something like that, if you want to know..." he trailed. "I'm an archaeologist Khushi and I need to discover the contents of the book for my personal research,"

"We've got something in common,"Khushi beamed. Arnav knitted his eyebrows in confusion as he looked at her," And what's that?"

"History! I love history and I'm going to pursue my further studies in that and you're an archaeologist, I might learn things from you," she waxed lyrical about her passion.

"Trust me, you'll wish you never knew the things I know," he muttered as he locked his gaze with her.

"Why?" she quizzed," Things can't be that bad." She chuckled, hoping that he would reveal more. He took more steps towards her and placed a strand of hair behind her ear. Her breaths accelerated as he bent down and whispered, "You're right, they're worse."
