Part 14

A week passed Maan could not tolerate Sid. he always taunted but rest of the Khuranas would cover that. Sid loved to tease Maan and did it with his heart. all feared Maan and geet. None knew what mess they will create when and where. when elders were tensed kids were full of hope. they had planned something which was not even shared with Dadi.

All Khuranas were present at the breakfast except geet. Maan looked to get one glance of geet. but seeing her nowhere he thought to ask dadi.

Dadi where is geet Sid asked before him. Maan wanted to just kill him but what can be done when except him all loved Sid including his geet.

CM said she have an urgent meeting. will be here soon. Dia said helping Nia to eat her food.

Did she eat something? Sid asked worriedly. when she is involved in work she is female version of Maan. right Maan? Sid winked at Maan.

Maan gave a glare. Dadi laughed. dont worry I made her eat and go.

Maan smiled at dadi and took a spoon full of pasta to eat. his eyes went towards the door where geet entered wearing an elegant salwar with a smiling face. he felt a bliss. he smiled back at geet.

very next moment he saw a lady standing near geet. As soon as he saw her face he dropped the spoon. Dadi was amazed as she never saw Maan so clumsy. she looked where Maan was looking.

Sam.. Maan said in a very low voice. Maan got up and went near the lady.

Samiksha you here... Maan said.

Samiksha hugged Maan and cried while Maan stood like a statue. he neither hugged her nor pushed her. geet was puzzled so were others.

Nia ran towards them and pushed that lady. geet grabbed Nia. Nia stop pushing her.

Most probably this lady is Maan's friend. Dadi thought.

Dadi came near them and poked on Sam's shoulder.

can you stop hugging my grandson. he may be your friend not husband to hug like this. Sam was embarrassed. she left Maan at that very moment.

Dadi this is Samiksha. There was a small accident..

Are you alright??? Maan asked touching geet's face and looking for any wounds.

Dadi and Sid smirked while geet was embarrassed and puzzled at same time. she felt Maan is acting weird. None noticed in all this a pair of hurtful eyes watching Maaneet.

I didnt get hurt actually... I hit this lady. luckily she didnt get hurt. geet said.

No geet it was my fault.. I was thinking something else and walked so...

but why did you hug my brother? Vicky asked.

I..I ..I am Maan's friend. right Maan...hope you remember me.. Samiksha said smiling but her smile never reached her eyes. Maan felt bad.

yes she.. was my friend...I mean is my friend. Sam felt bad hearing 'was' from Maan. Maan could understand her feelings but for time being decided to ignore it.

Dadi looked suspiciously at Maan. she had some doubts on Sam and Maan's relation but for time being decided to keep mum.

I think I should leave. Sam tried to leave but geet refused.

No way Samiksha. you are Maan's friend and at this situation its better you stay here. you only said that you live alone.

Its OK geet. I can manage. Actually now I am so used to live alone that between people I feel suffocated. Sam said looking at Maan who was not keeping any eye contact with Sam. Dadi had few doubts but now her doubts were cleared only making Dadi more tensed for maaneet's future. geet insisted a lot but Sam left.

Maan excused himself and left to his room and locked the room. geet felt it strange but ignored for time being as it was time for kid's school. Sid, Dadi and Vicky went to Meera's house to discuss about maaneet.

At Meera's house..

Meera served all snacks. Dadi looked very serious.

Dadi do you know Sam?Sid asked.

she is Maan's ex-girlfriend. they would have got married if... Dadi paused.

If geet and kids didnt come in Maan's life. right dadi. Sid asked.

hmm... Dadi's face hung.

Dadi do you think Maan still loves Sam? Meera asked worriedly.

Actually.. Maan proposed Sam few weeks before Dev's death. Maan didnt introduced Sam officially to me but I was always kept updated about Maan's life through my sources. Especially after Dev eloped. Sam's family knew about their relation. they were not against Maan and Sam's hangouts. Later when Maan had to marry geet. Sam's family felt their reputation will be affected as many knew Sam and Maan's relation. So they made Sam marry some NRI. Last year I came to know Sam divorced that man as he was drunkard and used to physically abuse her. Today when I saw Sam I felt she still feels for Maan. Already Maaneet are thinking about sepration. And now Sam.. It will make things more complicated.

Sid sat on his knees and took dadi's hand in his. Dadi.. Maan loves geet and geet... Sid paused.

Dadi looked worriedly. and geet??

geet needs a push and little bit place in her heart and a peice of brain to realise her love for Maan. what I want to tell is both love each other. Cant we use Sam to make geet realise?

Will it work?? Dadi asked

A lady in her late 20s kept her hand on Sam's shoulder. Sam you saw your love today. still gloomy?

Action speaks more than words but eyes...it speaks much more than action. I hope I am wrong but If Maan loves her then I will never come between them. But I will try to woo Maan back till that moment when my heart confirms Maan doesnt love me. god has to give me a fair chance at least this time.

Anna sighed and side hugged Sam to sooth her.

Maan locked himself and thought about Sam.

Sam was just an infactuation. I felt Sam would be great life partner so only I proposed her. but after few months of my marriage, I never even once felt to see her. In a year I almost forgot her. I know Sam loved me but she said she will move on with time. then why she came back that too at the moment when I am myself confused with my feelings for geet. I decided to separate but I cant see geet with anyone else. I doubt Sam delibrately came in front of geet's car. she knew KM's address so it cannot be a coincidence. She divorced years back. what if she has come back knowing I am going to get divorced. If it was a choice someone gave me years back I would have not felt so bad. but today when I am given a choice to marry Sam why my heart doesnt feel happy when my mind knows Sam would be a best life partner?

Maan.. geet's loud and tensed voice brought Maan back to reality. he rushed to open his door. he saw geet fuming. If you want to lock yourself use a room that is only yours dont lock the main door which I need to access to go to 'my room'. Maan was shocked as he never saw geet so angry.

geet.. I am sorry.. Maan said meekly.

geet sighed and went to her room but the came back in jet speed. Was Sam your girlfriend?

ya..I mean no..I mean it was just beginning.. wo I mean we didnt cross our limits.

Maans stammering made geet confused.

lovely update maan is angry and frustrated at sid he hates him coz his closeness with geet maan restless for geet but seeing sam he gets pale geets knows abt their relation sam could see he was just attracted tio her never loved her still she wants to try dadi is suspicious abt maan relatyion with sam but she wants to put some sense in geet to make her realise she loves maaan who is lost in his own toughts maan shocked geet knows abt him and sam geet shares her past how she had lost her mom naina nanny looked after her mohindar who never married but she saw him kissing her friend geet was hell shocked but instaed of accepting his fault he blamed geet fr not able to enjoy life geet didnt wanted her kids to go through same fate but who will make her understand that all men dont have same thinking she needs to trust maan and most importantly herself
