The whole car ride back home was silent. Geet was too shaken up because of her encounter with Maan. Maaneet was also sitting quietly. Geet wanted him to say something, anything. But he had maintained a stoic silence. He only broke his silence when both of them were in his room in their house.

Maaneet turned towards the boy sitting next to him and whispered," What is so special about the boy".

Boy: You know that boy is very intelligent. He is good in everything. So despite of he being 2 years younger , he got promotion to this class . But unfortunately his mother died last month so he was not coming to this school.

Maaneet : Kya yaar extra sentimental.. How I wish my Mom leaves me alone..

Maaneet whipped his head to see his yesterday's nemesis staring straight at him with murderous rage..

For the first time in his life Maaneet gave full attention to his class so that he did not give that tyke any chance to smirk at him. God only knew how they tolerated each other the full day. Both of them were in a competition to run away from each other the moment the final bell stuck. But they were a disaster waiting to happen.

Maan finally relaxed a bit in his office. He marveled how was Tara handling single handedly. Yesterday, after the fiasco, he saw Tara dead tired holding her back, trying to bite back the tiredness and back pain. He felt ashamed of himself after that. Here he was who had left his children for a month on an almost 5 months pregnant woman. It was Tara who needed all the care not him. As it is after the incident he needed a shaking up which yesterday's event provided. So here he was assuming his duties towards his children, coming to office after dropping them to school. He had plans of again leaving office early to pick them up from school and help them catch up their homework. He looked at HER picture again and said, you know how difficult it is right to match ur kids ..
