Honest Opinion: Where Is The DEV DIXIT?[TT Article]

Dev Dixit as introduced in the start was the man of few words and spoke a lot more by his action. The one who got to see many shades in his character as a son, businessman, brother. Much more. Dev actually seemed to have his point of view too. He too spoke his mind and what he felt about a situation.

But in the recent times we have seen that Dev has been enrolled in the conflict of his mother and her decisions about his love life. As the earlier promos of the show suggested it was told that what would possibly happen when the decisions about one's love life is also taken by your mind. Well in the show currently everything is happening but this. Dev Dixit simply does not seem to be using his brain and that swag of his as a businessman seems to be missing because of this very fact.

He is neither able to take a stand for himself and this characterization somehow fails the original aura of his character. Something just seems to be missing and there isn't anything about Sonakshi or Ishwari either. Rather it is about him and what the DEV himself feels about the whole situations. Agreed Indian television has always had more of woman centric dramas there is no harm in bringing out a male centric twist to his character just so to let the fans of the show know what DEV feels about all the hullaballoo, chaos and ruckus going on in his life where he is pulled to his wife and mother standing at different ends at the same times.
