Raman broke the hug and saw ishita fainted in his arms.he shaked her and said- ishita,ishita,open ur eyes ishita.but she didn't responded.he shouted for doctor and soon doctor rushed to check ishita.
Doc- what happened.
Raman- I told her about the baby and she fainted.
Doc- oh shit,she must got shocked.get me the injection.he said to the nurse.she gave him injection and he injected it in her veins.Raman closes his eyes not able to see it.
Doc- I have given her injection.she will be up soon.
Raman- woh thik toh ho jayegi naa doctor.
Doc- it depends how she will react to the news.if she cry then she will be OK soon but if she becomes still then there will be problem.just wish that she cry her heart that will reduce her pain.he said and went out of the room.
Raman sat beside her and was caressing her forehead softly.he wasn't understanding why he is feeling so bad for her,may be because he is going through the same pain or may be because he has developed a soft corner for her,coz she is the kind of wife he always wanted,loving ,caring and dedicated.but his bad luck he got shagun.shagun was never a dedicated wife.it was Raman,who always tried to keep her happy.neither she ever took care of his necessities nor his happiness.she wasn't interested in making relationship also.it was always Raman ,who initiate their love making while she was always disinterested. Slowly he also start loosing interest and after news of him being infertile their relationship almost ended.he stop making love to her at all and shagun was also more then happy without any physical relationship between them.shagun never made Raman feel desired.there marriage was almost broken only Raman was holding it firmly coz he thinks that shagun loves her despite of his disability but after seeing her in bed with ashok,he was shattered.he want to cry in someone's arms but to his bad luck he don't have anyone.like ishita ,he too lost his parents few years back and have only shagun and now she is also not with him.so Raman was now all alone like ishita.that's why he understand ishita's pain and want to be with her in her hard time.
Raman was caressing her forehead softly and soon he too slept keeping his bed near her hand as he was also tired since the happenings of last day.
After two hours,Raman open his eyes feeling someone's hand on him.he saw nurse was standing there to give injection to ishita while she was just sleeping.
Raman- when she will wake up.
Nurse- may be an hour or two.I am here with her,u can go and freshen up.and have something ,u didn't have anything since yesterday.
Raman- no I am good.he said and sat on the couch nearby.nurse give her injection and went.
Raman start waiting for ishita to wake up and after an hour she got up.Raman went to her but she didn't reacted like she is still under the shock.Raman called the doc,he checked it and said- she is under shock.try to make her cry,agar royengi toh sahi ho jayengi.
Raman nodded and after doc went Raman went to her and said- why u r not crying ishita,ur child died.woh tumhe chod kar chala gaya and u r not even crying for him.what a kind of heartless mother u r instead of mourning over ur baby's death u r sitting like u never loved him.how can you be so cruel ishita.he said with moist eyes but she didn't reacted.Raman tried many ways to make her cry but she didn't cry any little.soon Raman got tired of trying and sat beside him.he wounded his arms around her and said- ro lo ishita,u will feel good.
She simply kept her head on his chest and closed her eyes.Raman wounded his arms around her and pat her to sleep.but sleep was far from both the pair of eyes.they were just sitting on the bed cuddled in each other,trying to find solace .
Few days passed but there was no improvement in ishita,she was still sitting like a rock.Raman use to be with her all time,use to feed her and do everything possible for her.
One morning ,raman went to hospital determined to make her cry today.Raman entered her room only to see her crying bitterly hugging something .Raman went near only to see it was a mobile which she was hugging and crying bitterly.he took it from her only to see it was the video of him hugging the baby's body,which the nurse has recorded and today showed to ishita.Raman's eyes got moist seeing the video.he took ishita in side hug and said- sab thik ho jayega ishita.
Ishita- mera bachcha Raman mera bachcha.she said crying .
Raman- sorry I couldn't save him.I tried but couldn't. He said with moist eyes.
Ishita broke the hug and said- atleast u tried,thanks for everything Raman,thanks for being with me in my worst time.
Raman took her again in side hug and said- u don't need to thanks me.maine wahi kiya joh karna jaruri tha.
Ishita closed her eyes feeling peace in his arms while he too was feeling good that finally she is overcoming her loss.
Soon ishita got discharged,ishra were in Raman's car going towards his home.
Ishita- drop me at my friend's house Raman.I don't want to be burden for u anymore.waise bhi bahut ehsaan hai aapke mujhpar. I can't take more.
Raman look at her and just nodded.ishita told him the address and closed her eyes,as now it start paining due to constant cry .
After sometime,
Raman- we have reached.
Ishita open her eyes only to see a house in front of her eyes.
Ishita- yeh kahan aa gaye hum,it's not my house.
Raman- it's my house,he said taking out the things from the dickey.
Ishita- I told u to drop me at my friend's place.
Raman- am I not ur friend.agar nahi hoon toh keh do, I will not bother u again.he said smiling.
Ishita smiled a little and said- I can't even explain what u mean to me.u r not just my friend,but my angel who took me out of such a bad phase of my life.thanks alot.
Raman- no need to thanks,ab tum yahin rahogi,mere saath.
Ishita nodded and both went inside.ishita saw the house was in complete mess,clothes were scattered here and there.washbasin filled with dirty dishes,dining table had a plate where someone ate bread jam.
Ishita- aapka ghar itna ganda.
Raman- woh kaam wali aayi nahi kuch dino se.wait I will clean the mess ,tum bed room mein chalo.saying so he took her to the guest bed room.
He make her settle on the bed and was going when ishita held his hand and asked- shagun kahan hai Raman, just now I realised she never come to meet me in hospital. Where is she.
Raman looked away and said- she is at her friends house.
Ishita hold his cheek and make him look at her and asked- tell me the truth Raman,apna khud ka ghar aise ganda chod kar koi bhi aurat kisi aur ke ghar mein,kyun.
Raman eyes got filled hearing her words.ishita got worried seeing him like this.
She cupped his face and said- what happened Raman,where is shagun.she is OK naa.
Raman smiled little hearing her words and said- jahan hogi achchi hi hogi.
Ishita- main samjhi nahi.
Raman- u remember ashok was ,
Ishita- I don't wanna listen about him.tell me where is shagun.
Raman said with great difficulty- let me complete.u remember ashok was in bed with a woman,the woman was shagun,my wife.he said making ishita shocked beyond words.her eyes open wide in shock and she was just looking at raman with shocking eyes.the man who was himself in so much pain was always there with her to sooth her pain.
Ishita look at him and saw how broken he is,she didn't think for a second and open her arms for him. Raman look at her and she nodded as if confirming that u can pour ur hurt to her.he came closer and took her in a bone crushing hug and start crying bitterly like pouring all the pain he was going through since all these days.
Raman was crying bitterly while ishita was just caressing his back lovingly making him feel good.soon his hiccups lessen and she broke the hug only to see him sleeping peacefully in her arms as he didn't have sound sleep since the day ishita had accident .she caressed his face lovingly and couldn't stop herself from pecking his forehead softly.she make him sleep comfortably and covered him properly with the quilt.
After that she went out and clean the drawing hall and kitchen.cleaned the dishes and dining table.she look for something to prepare food and found some veggies in the refrigerator.
She prepared mix veg along with chappatis and went to his room.she kept the plate aside and said- Raman uthiye,khana kha lijiye.
Raman opened his eyes only to see her still in same clothes with a plate of food.
Raman got up and said- arey ishita, why u cooked food.mujhe bhookh nahi lagi hai.I didn't take u here to make u cook for me.u should rest,he was telling when she put a morsel in his mouth and said- bahut rakh liya aapne mera khayal now it's my turn.samajh gaye naa,so stop talking and eat.she said only to get a nod from him.
She smiled and continue feeding him while he was just admiring her.
