Arnav: Don't worry Khushi I am not going to Canada.
Khushi smiled.
Khushi: You mean now I have to wait only for a few days.
Arnav: yeah. One minute, I will ask Hp to get some juice for you.
Khushi nodded her head.
As soon as Arnav left, his mobile started ringing. He had left it beside Khushi. Khushi picked up the call. Aman didn't even leave a chance for Khushi to say "Hello"
Aman: Sir, if you don't attend this meeting, then we will lose the deal, it is a very important deal, we will lose crores.
Khushi was bewildered to hear that. Arnav was ready to lose crores of money to marry her?
Khushi: Amanji? About what deal are you speaking?
Aman was surprised to hear Khushi's voice.
Aman: Ma'am, sir has to attend a meeting in Canada, to finalise a deal, worth crores, but he is denying.
Before Khushi could speak, Arnav snatched the phone from her.
Arnav: Aman I said I am not coming, now stop calling me.
He cut the call. Khushi was amused.
Khushi: Arnavji, its an important deal.
Arnav: Not more than my marriage.
Khushi: But I will be more sad if you lose the deal because of me.
Arnav: I said I am not going to Canada, not now, atleast.
Khushi: Arnavji, it's a matter of 7 days, and I am sure you will bag both the deals.
Arnav: That's what, it's a matter of SEVEN days!!!
Khushi(cupping his face): Arnavji work is important, you must not neglect it.
Arnav: I am not neglecting it Khushi, I want to marry you first.
Khushi: What if I say I don't want to marry you?
Arnav: What the!! Who asked your wish, if you wish or not you have to marry me!!
Khushi's jaw dropped.
Khushi: Arnavji, I am ready to wait for you, for 7 days, please bag that deal.
Arnav was about to argue, but Khushi placed her index finger on his lips.
Khushi: For my sake, please.
Arnav shut his eyes. She always choses emotional blackmailing which worked on Arnav.
Arnav(Gritting his teeth): Ok fine!!
Khushi smiled.
Arnav: But I have a condition, you are coming with me, to Canada.
Khushi(startled): How can I come?
Arnav(slightly raising his voice): Why cant you come?
By now the family members reached Arnav's room, listening to the noise.
Nani: Chotte, Khushi bitiya what happened?
Arnav(sighing): Nani, Khushi wants me to go to Canada to finalise a deal.
All: What? AT this time?
Anjali: Chotte you cant leave your wedding an go.
Arnav: I know di, but please fill this thing inside Khushi's brain.
Payal: Khushi, what are you saying? Have you gone insane?
Khushi: Jiji, Di ask him, how much is the deal worth?
All looked at Arnav waiting for his answer.
Arnav: 100 crores.
All were shocked.
Dadi: Arnav, are you insane? Just to marry her you are ready to lose so much money? Do you even know its value?
Arnav didn't like Dadi's tone.
Arnav(gritting his teeth): Dadi, I am running the company from past 7 years, I know the value of money, and I even know the value of my wife.
Mami: Hello hi to marriagewa and bye bye to dealwa!!
Mami giggled.
Khushi: Naniji, I don't want Arnavji to lose the deal because of me.
Nani: I understand bitiya, but the wedding
Khushi: Its ok naniji...I can wait.
Arnav: Nani I want to take Khushi with me.
Dadi: This is too much Arnav, we are letting her stay with you in the same house, doesn't mean that you both can go wherever you want. You aren't married yet. And before marriage, she got pregnant with this illegitimate..
Khushi's eyes were moist again. Anjali, Payal , Nani and Mami were mortified to hear that word. Arnav's anger was at highest peak.
Arnav(ROARING): ENOUGH!!! I DON'T WANT TO HEAR THAT WORD AGAIN, I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND THAT DADI!!! This is why I want Khushi to come with me to Canada.
Dadi: You have become very rude Arnav.
Saying that she left the place.
Nani: No chotte, even I cant let Khushi bitiya to go with you. She is pregnant and too much of travel is not good for her health. We are here to take care of Khushi bitya.
Anjali: Yeah chotte Nani is right. We will look after Khushiji.
Arnav was still not satisfied.
Khushi: I am fine Arnavji.
Nani: Chotte you r worrying because of Sumi right? We all are here to take care of Khushi bitiya. We will not let anything bad happen to her. You don't worry.
Arnav finally agreed.
Arnav: I will try to come back before 7 days.

Khushi finished packing his bags.
Khushi: Arnavji, I have kept everything, just check if I forgot something.
Arnav: Yeah Khushi, you forgot one important thing.
Khushi: What?
Arnav: I am leaving my most important thing here and going to Canada.
Khushi: What Arnavji?
Arnav: You.
Khushi hugged him.
Khushi(in thought): How will I spend seven days without you?
Arnav(In thought): I will come back soon.
Arnav: Take care Khushi!!!
He kissed her forehead. Arnav bent down and hugged her tummy, and kissed it.
Khushi was touched by his action.
Arnav: Papa will be back soon.
All the family members left him to the gate, he bid bye to Khushi, and left.

At night,
Dadi was making kheer for Anjali. She finished preparing the kheer and closed the vessel's lid, to let it cool. She went back to her room.
Khushi was feeling damn hungry. She went to the kitchen and saw the kheer on the stove. It was smelling very nice.
Khushi(to herself): Maybe Hari Prakashji cooked this for everyone.
She was very hungry, and she took a bowl and served some kheer for herself. She started eating the kheer and then Dadi came. When Dadi saw the kheer in Khushi's hand, she got enraged.
Dadi(shouting): How dare you eat the kheer which I made?
Khushi shivered when Dadi shouted at her. All the family members came down, listening to the noise.
Nani: What happened Sumi?
Dadi: I prepared the kheer for Anjali bitiya and this girl, started having it without asking anyone.
All felt stupefied.
Khushi: Dadiji I didn't know that this was for Di.
Anjali nodded her head in no.
Anjali: Khushiji its ok. You can eat it. (to dadi), So what dadi? Food is prepared to eat!!!
Dadi: I prepared the kheer for you and your child Anjali.
Khushi felt very bad when Dadi accused her for such a small matter.
Nani: Whats so big Sumi? What happened if Khushi bitiya ate that?
Mami(to herself): She is scarier than gabbar singh!!
Nk: Yeah Dadiji why are pulling this small matter? It's a dish, not a necklace that Khushiji stole it and you are blaming her.
Dadi: Yeah, now you will teach me whats right and what is wrong?
Dadi left the place.
Nani: Khushi bitiya, don't feel bad, its your house, you can eat whatever you want and you can do whatever you wish.
Khushi was very hurt by Dadi's behavior. She kept the half-eaten kheer bowl, and went back to her room.
All felt bad for what happened here.
Nk: Dadiji is too much. Poor Khushiji, went without having anything.
Anjali: Hari Prakash, make the dinner ready,(to Nani) I will bring Khushiji for dinner.

Khushi was crying in her room.
Khushi(in thought): Why does Dadiji hate me so much? What did I do?
Anjali saw her crying. Anjali sat beside Khushi. Khushi quickly wiped her tears.
Anjali: Khushiji, please don't cry. Its ok. You didn't do anything wrong.
Anjali made Khushi look at her.
Anjali: See if you cry like this, then what about the baby?
Anjali wiped Khushi's tears.
Khushi: Di, I didn't know that the kheer was for you.
Anjali sighed.
Anjali: Khushijji, did I complain? That kheer is for everyone and not just me. Now smile and come down, lets have dinner. I know, you and the baby both are very hungry. Now come.
Khushi agreed.

It was late night. Arnav called Khushi.
Arnav: Hey how are you and the baby?
Khushi: I am fine Arnavji.
Arnav felt that her voice was low.
Arnav: Is everything fine Khushi? Did Dadi say anything?
Khushi: No Arnavji she didn't say anything.. and yeah Arnavji, all is well.
Arnav(in thought): Something has happened.
Khushi(in thought): I don't want you to worry.
Khushi purposely didn't tell anything about the kheer matter to Arnav. She wasn't that types who complain everything to their husbands.
Arnav: Why is your voice low?
Khushi: Just missing you. When did you reach?
Arnav: Just now, I am near the baggage section. Ok Khushi, take care, I will call you later, bye.
Khushi: Bye
Arnav knew that something was wrong. He quickly dialed Di.
Anjali: Chotte how are you? And when did you reach?
Arnav: I am fine, I reached just now, how are you di?
Anjali: Absolutely fine.
Arnav: Di is everything ok, why was Khushi sounding low when I called her?
Anjali(startled): Umm..chotte..actually..
Arnav: Di don't hesitate please.
Anjali told him the whole matter. Arnav gritted his teeth.
Arnav: That's why I wanted her to come with me. Di please take care of Khushi, make sure that Dadi doesn't make her feel bad.
Anjali: Yeah chotte, I will.
Arnav cut the call.
Arnav(in thought): I have to finish the work soon.
Anjali(in thought): I have to keep an eye on Dadi and make sure that she doesn't hurt Khushiji.
