Anushka Sharma has worked with the contemporary crop of top directors. Right from Aditya Chopra, Karan Johar to Rajkumar Hirani. She's now slated to work with Imtiaz Ali for his next film with Shah Rukh Khan. When quizzed whether she had refused Tamasha and that apparently Imtiaz wanted to woo her with this film, she replied, "He does not need to do that. I've always wanted to work with Imtiaz. My career would be incomplete if I'd not done an Imtiaz Ali film. It's as simple as that. He presents people, their emotions, their flaws so well. There's something so beautiful about his love stories." She adds further, "Like nobody is perfect. Nothing is perfect. There are issues, there's conflict of emotions and thoughts... fighting yourself and who you are... Jab We Met was his first film that I watched and I was like yaar this is what I want to do. Geet was such a strong character. Kareena (Kapoor) was so good in that film. It inspired me. To work with Imtiaz is a big deal for me."
