'What nonsense...'' Said Raina but at that point much to everyone's shook, Mr. Iyer didn't want to fight anymore
He was a very proud father in that moment and he was more than happy with stepping down as his daughter made history. It hurt that he was never going to be a part of that but he knew that was his late wife's dream and contrary to what everyone thought, he cared enough about her to know that this was Anjali's legacy and he would not stand in the way of that.

'Okay I will leave... Just draw up the papers and I will sign...'' Said Mr. Iyer standing up
'What... No... Iyer ...'' Said Raina but it feel on deaf ears
'I genuinely hope this works... If it does, you are going to change the world...'' Said a teary Mr. Iyer to his daughter before he walked out of the conference room leaving a few people in there shocked
Raina knew she could only claim anything in that company if her husband was in it. Anjali ensure d that Raina never got anywhere or even had any say and the only reason she got away with it for so long was because her husband was the CEO. That job was clearly taken away from him and he being the weak man that he is gladly obliged something that pissed her off.
She got up and followed her husband outside upset that he was just giving up the way he was
'What is the matte with you?'' She said

'Are you insane? You are just going to walk away and allow her take everything we have worked so hard for, for the last 7 years...'' Said Raina

He always had a soft spot for Ishita and that pissed Raina off. He had a son with her as well, Abhishek and he was just as important as Ishita was. Abhimanyu also practically grew up in that house and yet somehow he was not relevant and that made her mad. But Raina was very patient and she knew well enough to know that when it was right, she would play her cards right and it would work. It always worked and after all Ishita was Anjali's daughter, they were ruled by their emotions.
'What if she turns around and tries something bad? She has a lot of anger in her...'' SaidRaina pretending to be concerned
'She won't...'' Said Mr. Iyer as he took his wife's hand walking out with her
'What makes you so sure?'' Said Raina
'Because she is Anjali's daughter...'' Said Mr. Iyer

'Relax... I meant to say, she is kind hearted to the core no matter who much she pretends she isn't...'' Said Mr. Iyer

'Says me... Drop it...'' Said Mr. Iyer as he walked out leaving her there a tad shocked.
This protective side of him where Ishita was concerned was always there and it never came between them regardless of anything, until now. This Phoenix thing was going to be a problem and she had to find out what the hell it was.
Back inside, everyone was sort of surprised that Mr. Iyer had given up so easily and that too with Raina putting him under pressure and he still didn't barge. Ishita had this nagging feeling in her heart that this wsa not going to the last time she was hearing this and that Raina was going to try something ridiculous. But either way, she was ready for her.
'Well that went better than I expected...'' Said Ishita as she looked around
'Any other business for the day or we start the...'' Suraj said
'Oh not yet... Shlok and Mihika take charge of this project, I only work with them while the rest of you, Mr. Kapoor will tell you how this company is going to be run...'' Said Ishita
'Meaning what... What does this mean for me...'' Said Abhimanyu

Ruhi and Aditya had been taken to the park with Mihir and as always, he would sit on the bench and allow them wonder off as long as they were still in his eye sight and he was sure they were safe. These kinds had other plans and they were convinced that Ishita wanted to see them and given how much the missed her they wanted to see her as well.
They walked to the side of the park where they made sure that Mihir couldn't quite see what they were doing and they pulled out the teddy bear. They turned it round like they always did and took out the mobile phone that was placed in it and they waited.
'Do you think she will come...'' Said Ruhi who was a bit nervous
'Yeah... She said she will come so let us just wait...'' Said Aditya who was trying to be strong but was also very nervous
They stood there in silence worried because they knew whatever they were doing was a bit unusual even for Ishita. But they were two very desperate kids who couldn't quite grasp what it actually meant to have someone care about them like a mother until Ishita showed up and they never wanted to get rid of that
The phone began vibrating startling Ruhi as she handed over the toy to Aditya. He slowly took out the phone, turned to check if Mihir was watching them but he was engrossed in his phone and so the cost was clear allowing him pick up
'Hello...'' Said Aditya softly but there was no response
'Hello...'' He said again
'Hello... I have a message from your nanny. She says you need to leave the park and come across the street. This is where you will meet her...'' Said the voice
'But... Mihir won't allow us...'' Said Aditya
'Come alone... You do not tell anyone where you have gone...'' Said the voice
'I ... No... Papa says we shouldn't go with strangers...'' Said Ruhi

Things with Romi and Mihika were not getting any better. She was clearly avoiding him like the plague, his ego wasn't allowing him apologize

She knew he fears were justified and she had to think of something and fast. She had somehow found herself in this mess and she had to make sure she got out of it. She needed to get that money somehow because the guys that were demanding money from her were not people to mess with.

Back with Simmi, she had her own problems to worry about and she knew Ishita's coming back was something that certainly put that in jeopardy. She needed an outlet and like always there was only one place she could go to
'Hey... Open the door an outside...'' She said hanging up her phone

'Oh God Jai I swear I am so exhausted you can't even begin to fathom...'' She said as she walked in placing her bag on the floor and slumping into the seat
'So what did they want to discuss...'' Said Jai as he sat next to her
'Honestly I do not even thing there was any meeting needed in the first place. Raman only organized it so that he got a chance to talk to that crazy Ishita. Romi and Pratik went along for obvious reasons...'' Said Simmi
'So... Does that mean you didn't sort it out with Pratik...'' Said Jai
'Uhh No... Not yet... Apparently he has some sort of feelings for her but it is nothing I can't handle...'' Said Simmi

At the Iyers, Ishita seemed to be the only person who was always in a good mood. Priya was snapping at everyone, Mihika was just all over the place and she was just immersing herself in work. Ishita did most of her work at home and left the running of the company to the people she trusted. When she wasn't home she was sneaking around with Raman given they didn't want to be in the media so much and also they wanted to protect the kids. Raman had not told the kids that he was seeing Ishita because in all honesty he didn't trust that she will stay. There was always the possibility that she would disappear and he had to be sure this time before he introduced her again and Ishita understood.
'Mimi... Where are you coming from'' Said Ishita as she saw Mihika walk in
'Office... Why...'' Said Mihika
'What do you mean why... Its Sunday, offices are locked on Sundays if am not mistaken...'' Said Ishita

They table was already set and they were bringing in the last bits of drinks and setting up the table.

'Am sure these gentlemen have more important things to do than be here with us, Right...'' Said Priya
'Well... I personally called them and they said they would be here. I imagine they were not lying to me then...'' Said Bebe

Food was served and they were all seating there not saying anything to eachother. Except Ishita and Raman who kept n stealing glances at each other, every other person had their eyes on their plates wishing they were not in that dining room..
Bebe being Bebe knew exactly what she was doing and she knew more than anyone how to push these girls when she wanted especially Mihika who always held on to things and also held back a lot, two of her character traits Bebe didn't like.
'So what have you guys been up to since we last met...'' Said Bebe
'Well... It has been work... Work given the site is up and turning now... There is a lot we have to fulfill and a lot of deadlines but it is all good...'' Said Raman
