Dr Samar looked at maaneet who sat there as if waiting for a verdict. he looked at geet and gave a smile. geet gave a nervous smile.

geet I know you are waiting for a positive reply. And it is.

geet's eyes filled with tears of joy. Maan looked confused.

Mr Khurana your wife is pregnant. Dr Samar said with a disappointed look.

what! how can that be???

geet was stunned. she felt like someone stabbed her.

what do you mean? geet said in low voice.

Samar sighed. geet your body is so weak that you cannot bare a kid at present infact your chances to concieve too was only 1%. I had told this to Maan during your miscarriage itself. not to make you feel hurt we didnt inform you. if it was some other case we would have been excited and happy for you..but... this pregnancy can cost your life.

geet's all joy went in vain when she looked at Maan and Dr Samar's disappointed look.

And as a doctor my first priority in these type of cases is the mother. I am sorry to say but... Mrs Khurana you have to abort...

Never I will do that.. geet said so loud. her tone had a determination, anger and pain at same time.

geet try to understand... Maan tried to interfere but geet left from there in anger.

Maan was pissed off.

Mr Khurana make her understand its very risky. she is just 1.5 month pregnant. you have 1 more month to decide. Samar said worriedly. but dont put stress on her.

Maan nodded and left to talk to geet.

Outside Samar's room..

geet was scared for her baby. she didnt want to lose again. she was walking aimlessly. Maan was little behind her. Its when Maan bumped on Arun. Maan you here...Arun was worried looking his tensed face. is everything allright???

geet heared Arun's voice and looked back only to see Maan, Arun and Bua who stood little far from them with a file in her hand whose one glance was enough for geet to shiver . All past events, taunt came in her mind. She was scared and felt like whole world just want to snatch her baby from her. she just ran from there.

Arun was now worried. he tried to ask Maan .

hey Ram!! what is she doing here. Arun's bua asked with anger pointing geet .

Bua is this the way to talk.. Arun asked Bua feeling insulted before Maan.

then what should I say... Ayesha has some complications..all because of this girl. I told her thousand times to be away from Ayesha. but who want to obey me. our ancestor always say to keep infertile away...

Infertile. the word was enough for Maan to get an idea about what was geet's actual problem.

Maan cant you keep your wife away from your di at such an auspicious time. why dont you keep that inf..

Bua was shocked so was Arun.

Maan wanted to make bua show her right place but at present to find geet was more important. Jiju I will talk to you later. And keep this lady away from my di and my wife because I have heard widows are not at all even allowed to be in vicinity of pregnant ladies. Arun got the hint about geets pregnancy and smiled. Maan left searching geet.

At Maaneet's Pent house

geet reached home and locked herself in the bedroom. Maan asked her many times to open the door but all his efforts went in vain.

geet! open the door. Please geet... Its more than two hour. Maan plead who was in the verge of crying.

geet at least for baby's sake open the door. Its more than 2 hours you have locked yourself. we will find a solution geet. Please open the door...Please.

No you will kill my baby. geet yelled.

Please geet open the door..I promise I will not take any decision without your acceptance. I promise.

It took few minutes but at last geet open the door.

geet's red eyes and scared look brought tears in Maan's eyes. Maan didnt say anything and asked geet to get fresh and eat something. Later after lot of cajoling geet ate and went to sleep.

At night Maan slept hugging geet from back.

Please geet try to understand ... your pregnancy might be a risk for your life...

goodnight Maan. Maan thought to discuss it tomorrow. both laid but sleep was far away from both.

It was a week but still Maan couldnt convince geet. geet wold neither speak nor hear a word. Maan talked to Ayesha and Arun. they were embarrassed by Bua's doing. On the other side geet. rarely she came out of the room. she didnt speak to anyone.

One week passed and this was the limit for Maan at last Maan confronted her one night.

geet what the hell is wrong with you... cant you for once think practically?

geet was mum.

for a mere lady you are trying to ruin our life..our love. I never thought you can be so selfish. did you ever think about me?

geet closed her eyes..frustration, pain helplessness.. all was making her weak.

when you had a deal with my mother did you or my mom think about me. you wanted to expand your empire...did you think then about me?

my mother wanted to keep her business safe...she first thought about business then only she thought about me. where was my decision or acceptance in all these... geet was on verge of crying.

when dadi killed my bab... geet felt a sharp pain in her heart ...for her hatred for Khuranas ...she poisoned me...did she think about me when she knew very well how it feels to lose ones baby..

you knew from day 1 that I cant concieve..cant bare a child. To supress your sorrow you left me and lived in farm house for days... did you think abot me even once Maan? Ayesha di knew about bua's taunts..she heard it many times but she ignored it just because only Bua was there to take care of her. Were you all not selfish? were you all practical?

If for once you loved me you would have told me before itself about my health. Atleast I would not have kept any hope Maan. All time geet was sobbing.. her face was covered with tears. she took a deep breath and wiped her face with her hands and said...And now when I know I cant conceive easily..i will never abort my child even if it means to lose my life. geet went to the guest room and shut the door leaving Maan toungue tied.

Finally maan showed that bua her place!! Great I hope maan would have insulted her more.
Geet wants her baby,she wants to risk her life for baby,it was her natural behaviour after loosing one child and bearing bua taunts,but poor maan he was not in a place to choose.
Geet outburst was really painful yaar,ayesha knowingly kept her calm!!!! That was indigestible for me.
