Balika Vadhu might be on the verge of going off air, and the actors are already making viewers nostalgic about how the show used to be with the original cast.

Shashank Vyas, who played the grown up Jagya in the show, shared a picture of him with Anandi aka Toral Rasputra and his on screen parents Anup Soniand Smita Bansal.



It seems that the cast which we relate to when reminded about the show, is celebrating the end of Balika Vadhu. The show has been going on since 2008 and is one of the longest running television hit show until now.

initially it was Avika Gor, who started her career as the young Anandi. She played a strong character and was replaced by Pratyusha Banerjee in 2011 when the makers had to show a grown up character.

In the time span of almost eight years, we have seen many actors join and quit the show. In the ongoing series, Mahhi Vij is seen in a pivotal role.
