Manik came out in search of Nandini and found him in kitchen...

He entered without making any noise and saw her busy in making something... he came in and stands behind her while putting both hands on either side of kitchen counter...

That was the time when Nandini felt his presence... She felt his face near hers...sound of his breath near her ear... And his closeness unknowingly started affecting her...She felt shivers in her body...

She knows that this closeness is not good for her future plans and she wanted to avoide this... but didn't know how to do this...

Manik who observed some stiffness in her body due to this closeness smiled and then said: Nandini tum yahan kya kar rahe ho...Dont tell me tum ne mujhe tourture karne k liye phir se koi soup banaya hai...

Nandini turned towards him and while placing her hand on his chest pushed him a lil back to make some distance between their bodies...

She said: Yes Mr Malhotra...u r absouletly right...now can u plz go and sit on that chair .

Manik said lovingly: No miss Murty I am not leaving u alone here...arey yaar aik to tum doc ho and meri friend bhi ab tum akele kam karo acha nahi lagta na... so I am sitting here near you...

And with this he sat on one counter slab...

Nandini reluctantly turned her face and again gets busy in her chorus...

Manik was only looking at her... and she was doing her workkk...

But he gets bored aftersome time so he thought to start some conversation...

He asked while looking at her: So Nandini tell me na about yourself...

Nandini with doubtfull eyes looked at him and he said in response: Arey yaar aise kya dekh rahe ho... ab aise beith k bore ho raha hoon so socha kuch batein hi kar loon tum se... waise bhi tum to merey bare mein kafi kuch janti ho...(looked in her eyes to judge her) hai na?

Nandini immediately averted her eyes and continued her work...

Manik smiled on her childish act but hide it on next moment :last time bhi tum ne merey interviews ki baat kit hi so I assume tum ne merey interviews se kafi kuch merey bare me jan liya ho ga... But mujhe to apni is new friend k bare me bus itna hi pata hai k yeh bohat Achi and sincere doctor hai... So tell me something else about yourself na...

Nandini: merey bare me aisa kuch khas hai hi nahi batane ko...

Manik at once asked seriously: Hai hi nahi... ya tum batana nahi chahti...

Nandini immediately turned her face to him and started observing him...

He when saw this then said to divert her mind:Arey ab bata bhi do... itna bhao kyo kha rahe hooo... tell me na... about you... about your family... About your friends... akhir mujhe bhi to pata chale friendship me merey competitors kon kon haan...

Nandini after hearing this explanation takes a sigh of relief and said: Hmmm about family... merey parents ki death ho chuki hai...( with teary voice) Chacha chachi haaan... Jin ne mujhe aur rishab ... mery bhai ko bohat pyaar se pala hai...Amms haan jo Mangoloru me rahti haan... thori se strict haan but hum dono se bohat bohat bohat pyar karti haan...

Manik was listening this with a smile and he asked again: hmmm and your friends

Nandini looked at him and said with sad smile: I don't have any friends...

Manik got a shock on this so he asked loudly: Whattt yeh kaise ho sakta hai... No friends...

Nandini: Ya... kabhi friends ki zarorat hi nahi pari...(then she looked at him and saw some sadness on Manik's face so she said) But ajj hi kisi ne mujh se friendship ki hai... and according to him wo bohat acha friend hai...so lets see k wo kitna acha friend hai...

Manik adored her words with his beautiful smile coz he knows that she was talking about him...

But at the same time he felt emotional so he climbed down from that shelf/counter and came near her... he holds her hand and assured her in serious tone: thanks for accepting my friendship... and don't worry yeh friend ab tumhari life me kabhi kuch ghalat hone nahi de ga... I promise...

Both looked in each others eyes... and his captivated eyes were creating magical spell around her...

At once her mind alerted her and she pulled back her hand from his... while turning said to him: I think soup ready ho gya hai... Manik tum table pe jao main soup lati hoon...

Manik who observed her avoidance said in his heart: Nandini tum jitni marzi koshish kar lo khud ko mujh se dor rakhne ki... but ab tumhe merey pass ana hi hoga... (and he smiled on hisown thought)

He said to her with smiling voice: No Mam... as a friend 50 % work tum ne kar liya now you go and freshenup tab tak main yeh soup table le k ata hoon...

She with her big eyes: You... tum karo gey...

Manik: Yes main... the Great Manik Malhotra is at your service mam... so go and freshenup ( with this he pushed him outside)

Nandini came out and said: Unbelievable

After sometime when she cameback she saw Manik has set the table ... she came and sat on 1 seat... that the time when doorbell rings...

Manik immediately said: main dekhta hoon...

He went and came back with a pizza box...

He put that box infront of her and said: this is your prize young lady for making this soup for your friend...

Nandini gave a strange look to him and said: But Mnaik is ki kya zarorat thi...

Manik came and sat beside her and then said: arey yaar pizza hi to hai... and u know na pizza khane k liye hota hai so... shall we...?...

Nandini reluctantly nodded her head...

After that she sent him in his room for some rest... but Manik thought to play some music...

He started playing some romantic melodious tones on his guitar when Nandini entered in that room...

She with a smile said: Oh so Manik Malhotra apney Rockstar wale Mood me haan... that good... she picked her book which was placed near him and was about to leave when Manik holds her hand...

Nandini's surprised eyes moved up and with her cute expression she asked: What?

Manik said: don't leave na... yahan hi baitho...

Nandini: But Manik tumhe apney music pe focus karna hai to meri presence disturbance create kare gi...

Manik at once said loudly like a matter of fact: No... tumhari presence kabhi... Bhi mujhe disturb nahi kare gi...

Nandini with austoshment nodded and Manik leave her hand...

She sat on the chair near by... and started reading her book...

whereas Manik again starts to play his guitar...

He makes a beautiful melody but in parts...then after sometimewhen he felt tired he looked at Nandini and asked: Nandini tell me one thing... Kya tum ne kabhi kisi se pyar kiya hai...do you love anyone...

Nandini was shocked on this sudden question from Mnaik and that too about loving someone...

She started feeling nervous ... like she is a thief and Manik caught her red handed...

Her book drops from her hand...

Here Manik observed her expressions and antics and smiled inwardly...

Manik: Bolo na...do you love someone or do u have any BF...

Nandini looked at him in dazed state... coz in her life she only loved him... but she cant tell him...

Tears came in her eyes on this miserable situation...

She turned her head and in the shed of her hairs she removed her tears...then she said with heavy heart and with sad voice: No... No manik... I don't have any BF...infact in cheezon ki meri life mein koi jagha hi nahi hai...

Manik asked again: jagha nahi but kyo?

Nandini looked at him doubtfully ... she thought why all of a sudden this question... kahen Manik ko kuch pata to nahi chal gya...

Manik noticed her doubtful eyes and then he immediately said to stop her doubts as he didn't want to disclose to her that he knew almost all things about her and her feelings till the right time...

He said: Wooo u r looking like I caught you red handed... like u have an affair and I caught you with your BF... I only asked ...like generally...

Nandini again takes a sigh of relief but fumbled in her answer: vo... You know na Doc's life...aise me time hi kahan hota hai in sub k liye...

Manik with sad smile nodded in yes...

Then Nandini thought to ask him the same question and she asked:and what about you Manik... kya tumhari life mein koi hai...jis se tum pyar karte ho...

She was very much curious to know the answer of this question and her expression told about the story of her heart to Manik...

He smirked inwardly and thought to play along with her so he said happily: ya...coz I have that much free time... and as a rockstar girls pe mera charm kuch zyada hi chalta hai...

Nandini hummed with a node...

Manik saw her sad expression and continued:u know Nandini... kabhi wo meri fan thi... but ajjkal ... Main ... Main os ka fan ho gya hoon... and main ne to plan bhi kar liya hai k osey kaise propose karna hai...

Nandini heart sank with each of his word ... and her eyes along with her heart started sheding tears invisibly ...she felt deep aching in her heart after knowing that he has someone in his life...and unknowingly

Manik eyes were guled to her face and he can feel her pain ... her teary eyes were also tearing apart his inner soul... but this is not the right time to say the truth...

He looked at her and then picked his guitar again... And then started humming a song with his soulful voice...

Itni mohabbat karo na
Main doob na jaaun kahin

Nandini was surprised on hearing him singing...she with her teary eyes looked at him...He then placed his guitar on the bed and with slow steps came near her

He fwded his hand for dance... Nandini surprisingly looked at him on his this act... but didn't want to get close to him after knowing he has someone in his life.

Manik when saw this he holds her hand by himself and pulled her in standing position...

He then placed his hand on her waist and pulled her near him...

Waapas kinaare pe aana
Main bhool na jaaun kahin
Dekha jabse chehra tera
Main toh hafton se soya nahin

He removed her tears lovingly and spin her in his arms... Now her back was rested on his chest ... he moved his face near to her ear and sang like pouring his heart out with his words

Main kisi se kahunga nahi
Main kisi se kahunga nahi

Nandini when heard these words ... she felt panic coz his words were directly affecting her soul and started making her weak in her decision...with tilted head she looked at his face...and found his eyes were showing the occian of love... and she lost herself in that occian...

Manik when saw her dazed state he placed his face on her shoulder and rested his head on side of hers...

Mujhe neend aati nahi hai akele
Khawabon mein aaya karo
Nahi chal sakunga tumhare bina main
Mera tum sahara bano

He sang like requesting her for her love...he again swing her in his arms and with a hard jerk pull her on him ...and on next moment she landed in his arms and unknowingly rested her face on his chest...then while looking in his eyes... he traced a feathery line on her face and sing

Aur kuch humse hoga nahi

Main kisi se kahunga nahi

Nandini was feeling his each and every word in her heart... but she was trying hard to control her inner turmoil...

Hamari kami tumko mehsoos hogi

Her eyes again glued to his on these words... She wanted to melt in his arms... but again her mind started ringing his bell... her vision change at once ... she collected all her broken pieces ...

Bhiga dengi jab baarishein
Main bhar kar ke laaya hoon
Aankhon mein apni
Adhuri si kuch khwahishein
Rooh se chahne wale aashiq
Baatein jismon ki karte nahin

Bol do na zara
Dil mein jo hai chhipa
Main kisi se kahunga nahi

She with strange eyes gave him a lil push and released herself from his arms... after that she ran outside...

But said from behind: Arey yeh to batati jao aise kya wo man jae gi...
