Part 10
I-Raman can I hug you .
Listening to this raman opened his arms for her and she hided herself in him ,both felt contended in each other embrance .They remain in same position for sometimes while tears were flowing freely from both pairs of eyes ,ishita knew the reason of her cries but poor Raman he didn't even know the reason for his tears, may be they were ,feeling ishitas pain or its because he don't want to go away from her.
After sometimes ,Raman pulled ishita from himself and kissed her temple lovingly ,she closed her eyes and stopped her breath to feel his touch,he then kissed her eyes and wiped her tears from cores of her eyes and asked caressing her cheeks " bolo ishita what you were saying ,do you want to move on ."
Ishita narrowed her eyes listening to him ,she then glared him asked angrily" what did you say ".
R- (composing himself )- nothing bolo .
I( smiling dreamingly)- Raman I brought abhi so that you can meet and know how is he .I mean to say he is smart ,handsome and a well settled business person ,what else a girl wants in her life partner .haina .
R-( shockingly)- I didn't get you ,are you telling that you want me to move on with him .
Tears formed again listening to his words, ishita got up from her place and walked to window ,without answering him .she was trying to hold her tears but still they were so adamant that they were not stopping . Here Raman was in delimma ,he was jealous with abhi but at the same time he was confused .On one hand ishita is talking about the qualities of abhi and on the other hand she is crying for him .He knows very well that ishita loves him somuch and he knows it well that not ishita but shagun is his choice then why he is feeling immense pain inside himself ,just witnessing her tears ,why her ignorance make him restless. Raman himself was not understanding his condition ,he was pissed of with himself but at this time what was bothering him was ishitas continuous tears.
Raman walked to her and spoke slowly
" I m sorry ishita ,I hurted you again ."
I( wiping her tears without strait face)- no its ok ,now if you are done can we talk seriously ,its a bit serious .
R- ok ,I m serious now tell .
I- Raman you know we have a very complicated relationship ,I m your wife but you don't love me .we are now legally married in front of society ,but the reality is we are going to divorce each other after some months and then you will be with shagun .you know may be we are clear in this but our society always create mess in this .May be ma papa will agree to your msrraige with shagun or they have to be convinced .
R( in deep thinking )- actually you are right but still I didn't got how this all is connected with abhi.
Ishita was about to speak when simmi came and told that toshiji is calling both of them .Both of them composed themselves and went out side ,there Raman saw that bhallaji and toshiji were talking to abhi .Looking to ishra toshiji got up from her place and spoke to them " ishita puttar come we will serve dinner ,Raman till them you talk to abhi ."
Raman made a dirty face and sat beside his father ,for sometime there was a pin drop silence as both the men's were just thinking what to talk ,at last abhi started to talk about business ,listening about business Raman too joined him but soon they were called for dinner .
At dinner table ,while having dinner abhi asked about the palak paneer ,ishita proudly declared that she has prepared it .
A- not bad ishu ,its yummy ,so you also learned to cook ,you know aunty earlier she don't even know how to make tea and coffee.
S- really ishita .
I- yeah ,actually noone ever let me get in kitchen in our house and also I was never interested as no one was there to eat and praise me .but here everyday mummyji use to teach me something new and all use to praise me even if its not so tasty .
A- I m so happy for you ishu ,at last you got the happiness you deserve in your life .( looking to toshiji and bhallaji) thankyou somuch uncle and aunty for giving so much love to ishu .she always use to praise you all but I always thought that she is over praising but today I found that she was actually right .
Raman listened this and recalled the first day he went to iyer house with ishita where he saw that only helps were there but her parents wetry not there to wait for her .He again cheeded himself for doing this to ishita ,he thought to himself and also thought to talk to ishita to think for once again about their divorce .
After dinner abhi was gone ,ishita went out to escort him ,Raman again didn't liked this but he can't tell anything as his parents were not having any problems and also he don't want to behave possessive about ishita .
In the hall .
T- bhallaji mujhe to ladka bahut achcha laga ,meri taraf se to haan hai .
Mr bhalla - me too liked him .
T- Raman you tell ,tujhe kaisa laga abhi.
R- ( making faces )- he is good ,but what meri taraf se haan hai ,jaise kisi ki Saadi karne ja rahe ho .
T- haan puttar shaadi hi to karni hai ,ish...
Raman didn't let her complete ,he got up from his place and declared angrily
" how you people can even think ,ishita is my wife,and I hadn't left her yet samjhe aap log."
Saying so he walked to his room stomping his feet angrily like a kid . Ishita and simmi who were just entering the hall also listened this. Bhallas were confused but ishita was scared that may be Raman had told everything between them . ishita smiled meekly and spoke " its nothing mummyji maine abhi tak raman ko bataya nahi hai na that's why he is confused ."
T(surprised)- but what he was saying .
I- don't worry ,I will handle him .you people go and rest .
Assuring everybody ishita walked to her room ,there she saw Raman was sitting having a frown on his forehead,acting to do his work .ishita went to him and asked softly " Raman had you told everything to mummji and papaji "
R( angrily)- Maine bataya ,ya tumne bataya ,you told them everything and brought abhi for marriage proposal .
I- yeah its right ,I brought abhi for marraige proposal but I hadn't told them anything .you know I want to see simmi settled before we part .
R( shocked )- simmi ,from where did simmi come in all this .
I-( touching his forehead from back of her palm )- Raman you are acting wierdly ,are you alright .
R( removing her palm from his forehead )- I m ok now tell me everything .
I- Raman I thought I after we will be divorced ,there will be a huge mess and in this simmi will suffer, her marriage is yet to happen and you know society people ,mummyji and papaji will face difficultly in finding a good alliance for simmi ,I thought abhi is perfect for her that's why I brought him and you know what good news is simmi and abhi both liked each other and they are ready for marriage ,even papaji and mummyji liked him a lot ,I even wanted that you should also like him but god knows what happened to you .you are behaving weirdly .
She said making faces on him while he was looking at her with utter surprise .Ishita called him many times but he didn't responded at last she shook him to bring him in senses .
I- Raman say something .
R- ishita are you real .
I- matlab .
R- yaar ,I just can't believe this ,being simmi's brother I never thought that and you are so concerned about her . you want me to divorce you then also you are worried about my family .
I( sadly)- you may not but everyone treats me as their own .mummyji and papaji consider me as their daughter and simmi as her sister ,this is not only yours but my family too .may be I will not be your wife someday but then also I will be their daughter and sister .
Raman was speechless as he doesn't have any words .He mentally compared ishita and shagun ,and then asked himself.
R( st)- Aisa kya hai shagun mein Jo main uske liye ise chodoon ,she is always concerned about herself ,she has never ever asked about my family, even she always insisted that we will live saperately after marriage and here ishita thinks about everybody . No no I can't do this ,I don't know for me but for this house ,for my family ishita is perfect,I should reconsider my decision .
After a while ishita ishita was sleeping but Raman was in deep thought ,he was going through everything which happened in his life after ishitas arrival ,how he has changed ,how his feelings had changed towards ishita.Earlier he never thought about her but now he is always concerned for her ,earlier her any act never make any difference to him but now a days her indifference is killing him moreover today he was so restless only with the thought of Mani being her choice how will he really live peacefully after leaving ishita .Lost I'm his thoughts Raman also slept but he has not reached to any point but was firm that soon he will take a right decision for everybody .
