Chapter 45

Kids were not ready to go back such soon...Even Geet not let them to collect those gift Daddi bought for there.

"Mommi its not good...We made promise to Maan Uncle na..that he will drop us home ...then why we are going in taxi..." Aran protested to go with her mother...He fixed his feet at floor...As usual no wonder both brother and sister always spoke same language...

Maanya also protested..Shrinking her brows...exact glaring devilishly she had inherited from Maan "Hum abhi aaye hai fir Mommi ?...Even you are not letting us to collect our gifts and Maan Uncle you are a big liar...even you broke promise " Little girl pointed finger toward him aggressively ..

Maan was totally numb..what to say ?...What was happening around ? Helpless in front of kids and Geet he rubbed his forehead..Instead of him..This time again it was Geet's turn to speak to keep this clan mum" Maanya you know na such a big businessman he is !!!...He usually go on such sudden trips no day not night mattered for him..otherwise business kaise chalega..."she glared Maan with lots of questions in her eyes...Like wanted to know reason why he made her victim..a part of his filthy business deal...

Dev on top stair and Daddi near to sofa were standing still ...Facing all accusations Geet were putting on them...

" But Mommi whats now ? How will we go back...even leaving all gifts...?" thoughtfully Aran asked pouting lips...

" Hum gussa hai...but Aran is a big boy and know Maan Uncle's work is also important..like you and Dai-da come late from office due to work...?" but he also understood if their parents work hard..Maan also had big business...

" Then all right Mommi ...I have a solution ask Dev Uncle to drop us..and in this way we can also take presents with us..." Mannya tried to convince her mother hatd giving one solution to solve this problem...

"haa..haaa why not " Dev had to gulp own words climbing downstairs as Geet was now dominating them all now..." No Mannya Dev Uncle ki car aksar khrrab ho jaati hai..he always drive the same car which your Maan Uncle ask him to drive...So we will go by taxi...hurry up.."she almost dragged them while targeting in Dev this time..

So how to control situation..Dev tried to calm kids down as he knew Geet would not listen to any one now and kids were out of control " Don't you worry Maanya, Aran...I will send your gifts to your home okey...even will buy new one too..." chasing Geet to main door Dev convinced kids...They were looking back again and again as other side their mother was taking steps forward...

Geet didn't bother about kids who were on the verge of cry...Just at the walk of few meters she got taxi she pushed Mannat first at back seat and then picked up Arhaan in her arms while settling her down between both kids .

Much annoyed Maan climbed upstairs in jiffy...When Dev tried to stop him ..then his Big Bro slammed door on his face...He was non less than a sandwich in between whole Khuraana clan.. trying to sought out all problems but always failed

As Geet said he always drive same car which Maan ask it was true all his good efforts ended up in vein...Always he had to do what Maan asked being on the driving seat...

When Geet reached home ..Kids took whole house on roof...Waiting for their Dai-da to make their Mom Scrap goat...some how Dai-Maa tackled with them and now they were in their room in foul mood...Dai-Maa when heard whole incident from Geet's mouth.. Sympathetically she also took Geet's side that it was good she came back giving reality check to Khuraanas..

On other hand Vicky was still in meeting with bankers which was scheduled for 4 PM but started around one hour late..Becoz one important banker had been stuck in heavy jam.. From home Maanya in much spoiled mood was calling him again and again to complain against her Mommi... Vibrating phone was diverting Vicky's attention from meeting again and again..Helpless he switched off phone...

After meeting

Meeting wrapped up at good note better than expected...Foreign clients were much impressed with fresh ideas given by team worked under Vicky's supervision...Especially Mr.Ritesh Chadda.He personally came to Vicky to praise his efforts and capability..

"Are Mr. Chadda aap..?"Surprised Vicky asked when found Mr. Chadda was standing near to him..But he was in rush to go home.. Glutting his office bag with files and laptop without arranging " Patta nahi aaj kon saa bhuchal(earthquake) aane waala hai ghar per..Aran k kiye text se he clear tha k kuch na kuch ghadbad(fishy) hai..." he mumbled wiping his sweat..

Aran text him when he was not picking phone " Dai-da Maanya is too angry...come soon"

"I think you are in much hurry young man...Mr. Vikram Khuraana right..!!! "He rested his hand over Vicky's shoulder...In reality he was there to clear some doubt he had.. Otherwise Vicky was also like any bank representative and there was no need to do convo with him personally...

"Your big brother..oh ya ya.something was running through my mind. Thats why I came to you...aab yaad aaya...Why I felt I know you.!!! If I am not wrong you are Mr. Maan Singh Khuraana's brother...India's leading business tycoon..." Mr. Chadda tried to clarify his doubt but bit hesitatingly..

Vikram glared him for a while...He was ...yes he was Mr.Maan Singh Khuraana's brother But what was going in between them it was not the place and the right person to reveal all..He nodded in yes..."Yaa ..I am ...He is my eldest brother..obviously everyone knows him due to his reputation even you..But I think we never met before...then how. ? ..I mean how a prestigious banker like you knows me ..Mujhe kuch samjh nahi aayi.."

Mr. Chadda smiled as he judged him right he was youngest Khuraana Even curious Vicky forgot that he had to reach somewhere...

"What a co-incidence Mr. Vikram..actually around four months back I met him in New York after a period of 8 years...Ek project k silsile main hum gaye thay...To which height he has taken his empire its amazing...and in span of few months I m in front of you...what a co-incidence..." How he was praising his big brother in front of him ..he really felt embarrassed that this men knew him as Mr.Maan Singh Khuranaa's brother.. If he didn't have any identity...But he could do ..no option was there for Vicky to stop him..

Yes he was surprised how Mr. Chadda knew him also true he wanted to get rid of him...

Suddenly his mind worked to put hold on this unbearable man's talk " Its also coincidence once Mr. Chadda...my big brother he is here in Ludhiana..if you want you can met him here again..." putting his bag on shoulder Vicky answered...

" Oh really he is here !!! I think he is back home/India after years... You are Ludhiana ..he is here too...means you have sought your personal issues now..." Mr. Chadda also matched steps with Vicky as they moved toward exit door from hall.

" Personal..??" Vicky rooted to spot how this man knew that much about him and his brother..He pretended to be unaware " main samjha nahi !!! "

" Oh I am sorry ..Main kuch jayada he bol gaya...Actually I couldn't resist myself when Mr. Khuraana's name came to my mind...Such an idle man he is...not just top business tycoon but a very humble human being from inside...I think he never told you what he did for you.."

Sitting on chair for visitors outside hall he said and also holding Vicky's arm he almost dropped him to chair next to him...

"It means you know my family history very deeply... k aapko yeh bhi yaad hai ..kya hua tha mere aur meri family main...you are in finance sector ..business ...banks...share market..you deal in all that..I think my brother might have asked many not to appoint me so that he can satisfy his personal ego...thats why me and my wife struggled alot for moths for job.no one was ready to employ us..." Vicky's couldn't put a grip on his feelings and he burst cursing his brother...Got up from chair..

Confused Mr. Chadda looked at his back ..He praised Maan but instead of that diverting in other direction...He also stood up removing his glasses he thought ...It was much needed to bring some facts in front of Vicky ..his misconception about his brother...

He sighed and came face to face..." I don't have personal or family relation with Mr. Khuraana but you share same blood...Still I think I understood him better than you ..Ya I knew there were some problems in between you...but to disclose in front of me it was need of situation ..."

"Need of situation...What was such that person like Mr. Maan Singh Khuraana who himself is a mystery...He exposed his family affair in front of you ? He don't have heart...emotions...relations matters nothing for him...if he has something that is mind intelligence...with that he won whole world..bring any one to knees and can write anyone's destiny..." He jumped out of skin...totally shattered Vicky he wiped his over flooded eyes... thinking about past..
