Clad in a purple-white lehnga adoring her figure, wearing the diamond jewelry which complimented her and the dress, she walked down the stairs holding Ragini's hand and the other picking up the lehnga to not come under her foot. She was overly-conscious of not missing any step and fall over her head while her eyes were blind-folded.

"Ragini abhi toh bata do" Swara whispered

"Patience rakho Swara , dekho sab yahi hain" Ragini said

Ragini made her sit on the chair and instructed her not remove the blind fold till she says so and without hearing any reply she left Swara there.

"Uttara sab ko bhula le aao" Ragini instructed her sister-in-law

"Ji Babhi"

"Kya hua Ragini?" Annapurna asked coming inside the room

"Ma Laksh aur Sanskaar kahaan hain?" Ragini asked with a tint of irritation

"Chore abhi taka aye nahi?" Sujata asked

"Kya? Abhi tak nahi ka matlab?" Ragini asked now with worry

"Uttara jake kamre meine check kar" Sujata said in a no-nonsense tone

"Ragini beta Laksh ko call karke dekho" Durga Prasad said

"Ji" Ragini obliged and called Laksh but much more to her disappointment, the phone was switched off

"Ma phone switched off hain" Ragini said as panic stroked her voice

"Sanskaar ko phone kar" Sujata said

"Ma kamre meine nahi hain" Uttara said entering the room

"Aap log ne dekha tha unhe andar aate hue" Ragini asked the family members

"Nahi! Hey bhagwaan kahaan gaye honge yeh log" Sujata said patting her head onto her hand

"Ragini Sanskaar ko phone karo" Durga Prasad said and she nodded her head and dialed his number.

"Phone switched off hain papa ji" Ragini said and now her blood pressure was rising due to the anxiety

"Chinta mat karo aa jayenge" Annapurna said but inside she was bursting out in worry

"Par jiji dono subhe se ghar ke bahaar hain! aur itna bhi kya shopping karni hain" Sujata said words lacing in worry

"Haan ma chachiji bilkul shai keh rahi hain" Ragini said

"Ragini, Uttara! Koi hain?" Swara called out from the living room. Ragini looked at the family members and they looked back at her, they decided not to tell anything to her right now!

"Kya hua Swara?" Rgini asked

"Koi mujhe batayega kya ho raha hain? Pati kholo na" Swara whined

"Acha thike hain! par vada karo ki koi sawal nahi puchogi" Ragini said putting the condition forwards

"Promise" Swara said and Ragini took off the cloth. She took time for her eyes to adjust with the lights all around but when she opened her eyes, she was shocked to see the surroundings covered with different varieties of flowers and lights. She looked at herself just to see her adorned in the most beautiful lehnga and the jewelry.

"Yeh sab-"

"Huh huh! No questions" Ragini said and Swara pouted. She quickly roamed her eyes through the people and a frown appeared a face when she didn't see Sanskaar.

"Ragini Sanskaar kahaan hain?" Swara asked her eyes searching for him

"Humne kahaan tha no questions" Ragini quickly replied to her.

"Arre par bata toh do ki Sanskaar kahaan hain? subhe se nahi mili hun" Swara said in a disappointed voice

"Thodi der aur rukho who aa jayenge" Ragini said nervously. Suddenly Swara's ringtone bloomed in the living room and she got startled for a time but then composed her-self. She groaned as she saw the caller-id.

"Kya hain Sahil" she snapped at him

"Mind your tone Swara! Mujhse abhi milne aao" Sahil replied

"Meine abhi nahi aa sakti ghar pe function hain" Swara tried to control her anger

"Agar apni Sanskaar aur Laksh ki jaan bachani chathi ho toh mujhse milne aao"

"Tumhara matlab kya hain?" Swara bombarded on the phone while all the family gathered around her

"Kya hua Swara?" Ragini asked

"Swara meine tumhe message karung aur akele aa aana" Sahil said cut of the phone while she stood numb.

"Ragini, Sanskaar aur Laksh kahaan hain?" Swara asked holding her shoulders. Ragini didn't replied anything she looked at everyone but not at her.

"Ragini bolo" Swara said shaking her more

"Pata nahi! Aur dono phone bhi nahi utha rahe!" Ragini said in worry

"Matlab Sahil sahi keh raha hain!" Swara whispered to herself

"Sahil kahaan se aaya?" Ragini whispered to her. They both looked at each-other.

"Kya kusur pusar kar rahe ho?" Sujata asked the two

"Mom hum abhi aate hein" Swara said running towards the door

"Haan ma hum abhi aate hain" Ragini said taking the keys and following Swara

"Arre bata toh do kahaan ja rahe hain!" Sujata shouted but they just got only silence.
