Interesting update. Daadimaa is worried that these recent accidents are what panditji had predicted and wants to consult him again. Maan after getting wierd dreams now wants to get to the bottom of this mystery. waiting for next.

CHAPTER 3. THE SWAMIJI AND HIS OMINOUS WORDS

"Chalein Maan bete!", Daadima spoke and Maan with a nod, got down the car. Daadima followed him and both stared at the building in front of them. It was a simple plain building with acres of tree surrounding them. This was Panditji's Ashram.

It was the day of Maan's birthday. Early morning Maan had been discharged and both grandmother and grandson directly travelled to the Ashram from there. And now almost at mid afternoon, both stood in front of the building that housed the Pandit who had announced years back that Maan's 25th year would be tough on him.

Maan took in a deep breath as he stared at the building in front of him. This building housed the person who had the answers for the questions he had. Maan hoped he would get the answers soon. He did not dream of Mahi again till now but he still felt haunted by her. The feeling that enveloped him when he was dreaming had left him numb. He had forgotten he was Maan Singh Khurana! How could that happen! How could he forget he was Maan Singh Khurana and adopt the persona of Mohinderjeet; the person he never met even once in his life! And then there was that godforsaken yellow duppatta that almost led him to his death twice! In one night he almost died twice! What is happening here?

Maan was brought out of his thoughts by Daadima placing a hand on his arm and both started to walk towards the ashram. As they entered they saw a beautiful idol of Ganesha in front of them. It was as tall as an average human and Maan smiled at its artistic sculpting. Both Daadima and Maan bowed in front of it.

Just then they heard someone speak.

"Yeh kya Savitri behen? Aapko toh paanch pehle aana tha, aap abhi aa rahi hain?"

Both turned around to find the Pandit standing in front of them with another man beside him. The Pandit had adorned dhoti kurta and yellow shawl. He looked to be in mid 50s. The other man was dressed in white dhoti kurta and had long white beard and looked to be very aged. Maan guessed he was older than his Daadima.

"Swamiji! Yahi hain ve log!", the Pandit turned to the other man and explained. The Pandit turned back, "Savitri behen, maine kahaa tha na ki aap jab Maan ko lekar uske pacheesve janamdin par aayengi tab main aapko aapke kashton ka nivaaran nikaalunga! Dekhiye! Maine Swamiji ko bulaaya hai Bharat se, khaas aapke Maan ke liye! Ab yeh bataayenge aapke sawaalon ke jawaab! Lekin aap paanch din baad kyun aayi?"

Daadima bowed with joined hands in front of Swamiji and Maan did the same. Both were blessed by Swami who simply smiled. Then Daadima turned to Panditji with a frown.

"Panditji! Aapne toh kahaan tha ki Maan ke janamdin pe use le aayein? Aaj hi toh Maan ka janamdin hai!"

Pandit smiled sadly, "Nahi behen! Aapne lagta hai Angrezi calendar ko dekha hai! Aap bhool rahi hai ki kundaliyaan toh Hindustani maah aur raashi ki hisaab se banti hai! Hindustani panchaang ke hisaab se aapke pote ka paccheesva janamdin paanch din pehle tha! Aapko aabhaas hua hi hoga kyunki usi din se durghatna shuru hui hogi Maan bete ke zindagi mein?"

Daadima looked shocked. The Panditji was right! It was five days back when the first incident happened. That means she had wasted five days! What if in those days she had lost her grandson?

"Haan Panditji!", Maan who was silent till now stepped ahead and spoke up, "Paanch din pehle hi main do baar maut ke mooh mein pahuncha! Pata nahi kaise bacha! Aur phir woh duppatta, woh ladki, Mohi, Mahi... ", Maan spoke rapidly while looking frustrated.

"Shaant bete shaant!", the Swami finally spoke, "Aao! Baahar chalte hain! Wahaan khuli hawaa mein baithkar shaant mann se humein bataao!"

All three followed the Swami towards the outer area of the ashram. Birds chirped, the kal-kal of water flowing was heard and fresh air greeted them as Swamiji took them towards the seating area right below a tree in the middle of the lawn in front of them. As they walked Panditji explained how the Swami was famous in India for his selfless work in helping people and how when Panditji told him about Maan's situation, Swami felt the need to come and help them out.

As they sat down, Maan started to explain. He narrated the first accident and the yellow duppatta, the sleepiness and the girl in the party, the almost fall from the terrace and the dream in the hospital. He ended the monologue with explanation of forgetting his own identity for a while and feeling the emotions of a guy called Mohinderjeet. Daadima also added in with the explanation of the lift failure and Maan surviving miraculously with one single wound on the back of his head. The Swamiji checked Maan's wound without opening the bandage and then frowned as he tried to make sense of what had been told to him.

After a while he spoke up in a calm and soothing voice, "Betaji aap jo bol rahe ho usse lag raha hai ki yeh sab punar janam ka khel hai!"

"Kya?", Maan was shocked, "Punar Janam? Yaani ki reincarnation?"

Maan looked at Daadima who looked equally shocked and then back at the Swamiji.

"Haan beta ji! Ek insaan apni pehchaan bhoolkar koi aur bane uske sirf teen kaaran hai! Ya toh koi prt aatma ka saaya hai, ya toh jo aaj kal science kehti hai multiple personality disorder hai ya toh pichle janam! Aapko jo sapna aaya usse toh bhoot ya kisi aur personality ka aasaar nahi dikhta! Yeh toh zaroor janam janmaantar ka khel hai!"

"But Swamiji how is this even possible?", Maan mumbled as he tried to make sense of what Swamiji was telling him.

"Yeh ladki ka baar baar dikhna aur aapka uss ladki ke saath aise khet khaliyaano mein milna jahaan aap kabhi gaye hi nahi, yeh sab andesha toh punar janam ki hi hai!", Swamiji explained.

"Lekin Swamiji, yeh haadson ka kya? Woh kyun ho rahe hain?", Daadima asked.

"Woh isliye ho rahe hain kyunki unka taalluk bhi Maan bete ke punar janam se hai!", Swamiji explained and Maan felt his eyes widen. His almost accidents were happening because of his old janam? Ok! That is weird even in the realm of reincarnation theory, Maan mused.

"Hum samjhe nahi Swamiji!", Daadima spoke with panic and Maan grabbed his Daadima's hand hoping that his touch would calm her down. He chanced a glance at her and saw that even his grip did not work. Her eyes continued to look worried as she sought answers from Swamiji. Maan turned back to Swamiji and looked at him with trepidation.

"Aapne dhyaan diya Savitriji ki yeh jo shakti Maan bete ko itne din surakshit rakh rahi thi, usne Maan bete ke upar se uske paccheesve janam din par surakshaa hata diya aur tabhi hi Maan bete ko pichle janam ki baatein yaad aane lagi! Itne saal unhein pichle janam ka ek lamha tak yaad nahi aaya lekin ab achanak se Mahi Mohi ka pyaar yaad aagaya?", Swamiji wondered and Panditji who was silently sitting beside Swamiji gasped.

All three turned to Panditji who looked at Swamiji, "Yaani ki Swamiji..."

"Haan!", Swamiji nodded and turned back to Daadima and Maan, "Baat yeh hai ki humne apne zindagi mein kai pichle janam ki kahaaniyaan dekhi aur suni hai! Aur har aise waaqiyaat mein ek insaan ko bachpan se kuch na kuch toh yaad aana shuru hota hai! Lekin Maan ke Vishay mein aisa nahi hua! Unhein ab yaad aaya, jab uss shakti ne apna haath Maan ke sir se hata diya!"

"Yaani ki yeh shakti use pichle janam ki baatein yaad karne se rok rahi thi?", Daadima speculated.

"Ya phir yeh shakti hi yeh sab yaadein Maan bete ko yaad dila rahi ho!", Swamiji said and Daadima gasped at that. The possibilities were enormous.

"Dekho bete! Baat saaf hai!", Swamiji spoke and Maan gave him full attention, "Har waaqiyaat iss Mahi se judi hai! Toh aapko iss Mahi ko dhundhna hoga! Yahi degi aapko aapke saare sawaal ke jawaab!"

"Lekin agar yeh pichle janam ki baat hai toh Mahi toh ab tak mar bhi chuki hogi! Kyunki inka pichla janam kis sadi mein hua hoga kise pata!", Panditji piped in.

"Mahi mar chuki hai!", Maan announced suddenly making everyone freeze. They took in Maan's rigid pose and clenched fists.

"Kya kahaa?", Panditji looked at Maan with wide eyes.

"Mahi mar chuki hai!", Maan mumbled again while looking at the floor.

"Maan bete!", Daadima spoke and Maan jerked up. He looked around as if taking in his surroundings for first time.

"Aapko kaise pata Maan bete?", the Pandit asked, still looking shocked.

"Pata nahi!", Maan mumbled as he brushed his hand through his hair. The frustration at not knowing showed clearly on his face.

He looked at his Daadima and then at Swamiji with desperation, "Mujhe nahi pata mujhe kaise pata chala! But the moment Panditji talked about her not being alive I sensed my gut telling me she is dead!"

Swamiji took in a sharp breath and sat back. He closed his eyes and shook his head. He then opened his eyes and sadly patted Maan's head, "Bete! Lagta hai pichle janam mein yeh Mahi aapki maut se pehle mar chuki hai!"

Maan's jaw dropped open and Swamiji continued, "Warna aapka astitva aapse yeh baat nahi kehta!"

"Iska matlab kya hai Swamiji?", Daadima asked.

"Matlab saaf hai!", Swamiji sighed, "Agar Mahi tab mari aur koi baadha nahi aayi, toh Mahi ne bhi apna agla janam liya hoga! Maan bete! Aapko jaake Mahi ko dhundhna hai!"

For a second Maan stared at the Swamiji in shock and then stood up, "But how?", he started pacing, "How am I going to find Mahi on this earth? Where can I search her? Is she in Africa, in America, in Antartica? Where? How? How can I...", Maan stomped his feet in frustration. Already this reincarnation thingy had him annoyed as he never believed in them. Now he was told not only was he a reincarnation but he had to find the love of his life from last life! How was he supposed to find a girl out of so many people? It would be like finding needle in a haystack. Actually finding a needle in thousands of haystack is more appropriate. Maan sat down by his Daadima and grasped his head in his hands.

"Dheeraj dharo beta! Jisne aapko yeh yaadein di ab wahi aapko rasta dikhaayega!", Swaamiji mumbled as he patted Maan's back.

"Matlab?", Maan looked up at the Swaamiji with confused eyes.

Swaamiji smiled, "Matlab wahi jaao jahaan yeh prem kahaani shuru hui thi! Wahin se aapko aapke saare sawaalon ke jawaab milenge!"

"Lekin mujhe toh kuch yaad nahi!", Maan spoke in horrified whisper, "The start, the end, I remember nothing!"

"Uska upaay mere paas hai!", came Panditji's voice and all turned to look at him. He smiled serenely, "Aap log hypnotism kyun nahi try karte? Maine suna hai ki hypnotism se pichle janam tak pahunch sakte hain! Phir toh saari kahaani ka khulaasa ek minute mein ho jaayega! Phir toh Mahi ko dhundhna bahut aasaan hoga! Haina Swamiji?"

"Aapka sujhaav sahi hai Panditji! Maan bete! Aap yeh sammohan kala ki koshish kar leejiye! Agar baat bani toh badhiya! Nahi toh hum aur kuch tarqeeb dhundhenge!", Swaamiji explained and Maan looked pensive while Daadima looked at Maan worriedly.

"Lekin yeh haadse kyun Panditji? Swaamiji? Humein kuch samajh nahi aa raha! Kya Maan bete agar iss Mahi ki talaash mein nikal pade toh kya yeh haadse band ho jaayenge? Kya Maan ke jaan ko jo khatra hai woh tal jaayega?", Daadima was still confused.

"Lag toh yahi raha hai Savitriji!", Swaamiji frowned and then pulled the papers Panditji was holding in his hand. Maan looked closely and saw his name. It was his kundali! Swamiji browsed it and then looking up he made some calculations with his fingers. Then he closed his eyes and pinching the bridge of his nose he whispered some mantras. Then he looked at Daadima, "Haan Savitriji! Mehsoos toh yahi ho raha hai! Yeh haadse ruk jaayenge agar Maan bete ne pichle janam ko tatola toh!"

Maan took in a deep breath just as Daadima heaved as sigh of relief, "Phir toh theek hai Swaamiji! Hum aaj ke aaj ek hypnotist ke paas appointment lete hain! Jitne jaldli se hum Maan ke pichle janam ka pata lagaayein utna jaldi hum dono ke liye achcha hai!"

"Jo bhi aap karein Behenji...", Panditji warned, "Jald se jald keejiye! Kyunki aapke paas sirf yeh ek saal hai! Phir toh maut nishchit hai! Aapko iss paheli ko suljhaana hoga, Ab Ke Baras!"

My God! This was tough update to write because I had to make sure Swamiji did not utter a single English word unless they had no words in Hindi for it. Not easy writing proper hindi. I had to add in some Urdu to avoid using English. Hard work, people!

Fabulous update. Dadima and Maan went to punditji's ashram. Panditji has called a swamiji from India to discuss Maan's matter. After listening whatever happened in last five years and about Maan's dream, swamiji told that it looks case of reincarnation. Panditji suggested to take help of hypnotism to know about last birth. Swamiji also agreed. He asked Maan to search Mahi as soon as possible as she also would have been taken rebirth.

Nice update dhamaka kalpana welcome back so maan was examining a site he was cursing the client who didn't had any idea abt the building he got down the lift which broke and fell down maan in it he woke up in a hospital bed duh where else would he be dadi told him abt the super powers trying to kill him obviously he didn't agree but later at night he saw a dream where he was some mohindarjeet or mohi who loves mahi he couldn't believe it and now he himself wanted to meet the priest as he wanted answers

Amazing update so maan and dadi meets the priest maan is still thinking abt mohi so much he forgot his own identity he was shocked with the revelation panditji had called swaamiji from India who told maan had a past life he told that he was mohi who loved mahi and died and whatever was protecting maan from childhood wanted him to remember his past life seems the thing that was protecting maan wanted him to look for mahi who died before him he needs to find mahis reincarnation who will protect him but for that he needs to remember his whole past life let's see mohi and mahis love story which I am guessing was a tragic love story
