Chapter 9
"Hello, bhabhi! I am shivam, your devar." Shivam introduced himself to taani, smiling at her over sweetly, as he let his lustful gaze roam over her.
Shivam held his hand out for her, but she ignored it royally.
"Namaste." Taani joined her hands and greeted him, she was already feeling uncomfortable under his gaze.
She looked around for her husband, who was seated on his chair on the dinning table and having his dinner.
"Taani, serve him dinner." Subhadra devi told her in stern tone. Taani gave a nod to her, shivam smirked and sat on the chair but while doing so, he bushed her arm with his.
She look at him, an uneasiness rose in her in shivam's presence. She wasn't liking this.
She silently served him food, then went and sat on the chair next to her husband.
"Are you alright?" Rey asked her in hushed tone when he noticed her fallen expression. Taani forced a smile and nodded her head in return. Rey smiled and placed his hand on hers under the table, which surprised her little.
He blinked his eyes in assurance when she look at him with questioning gaze.
They had their dinner, sneaking glances at each other.

When he entered the room at night, after talking to his father regarding some business deal, he found her standing near the window, staring out. Her face glowing in the moonlight. His lips curled into a dazzling smile, as he admired his beautiful wife. She was unaware of his presence, busy in admiring the stars in sky. Her beautiful long hair were flying in air with the cold breeze entering the room from the open window.
He glance at the baby cradle, where his six months old son was sleeping peacefully.
He slowly crept up to her and hugged her tightly from behind as he nuzzled into her, taking in her fruity scent. Taani gasp in surprised, but calmed her ragging heart beat realizing its her husband.
Her enchanting fragrance hypnotized him, blocking his mind to think about anything else than her at the moment.
"Rey!" She murmured softly, as she turned around, facing him. Rey cupped her face in his palms.
A shiver ran down her spine, his caressed her lower lip with his thumb, leaving a tingling sensation within her.
They had never been so close to each other before. But the blooming desires, were hard to tame. They had maintained distance, they never thought about intimacy in their relationship before. But since things are moving forward between them, the blooming love has given birth to desires as well. They crave for each other.
Taani closed her eyes in pleasure, as he inched close to her. Rey ran his hand through her silky hair.
And when he couldn't take the sheer torture anymore, he cupped her cheeks and leaned to kiss her.
He wrapped his one arm around her waist and pulled her close to him, in comfort of his embrace which seems to ease her nervousness. She closed her eyes tightly waited for his lips to come in contact with hers. Her heart exploded with some foreign emotions as his lips touch hers.
Their hearts were beating loudly in sync, he let his eyes closed as he pressed his lips against her, her breath hitched and she gripped his vest in her tiny fists. Rey hold her waist tightly and kissed her slowly and gently. Taani felt her mind clouded with fog of pleasure. The heavenly feel of his touch took her into another world.
Taani hold onto his hair as he deepen the kiss, inexperience is what she was, didn't knew what to do but tried to mimic his actions which made him happier. Taking her lower lips between his he smooched it feverishly making insides of her clenched as the tingling sensation ran through her spine. His hold on her tighten when she responded to his kiss. They begun to kiss other, their hearts exploded with happiness of being together.
Rey broke the kiss when he felt her out of breath, He rested his forehead against her. Enjoying he warmth of her embrace. She was breathless, panting heavily for air. Her eyes closer and she didn't even wanted to open her eyes fearing what if it was all dream.
Rey opened his eyes and stare down at his wife. He thanked his almighty for blessing him with such pure soul as wife.
"Are you alright, taani?" He asked her softly.
Taani opened her eyes and look at him, her cheeks were red as cherries. She gave a small nod in return before she buried her face in his chest and hugged him tightly, causing him to chuckle at his shy wife.
Rey picked her up in his arms and took her to their bed. He then ever so gently made her lay down on the bed and joined her, laying down next to her on the bed.
"How was your day?" Rey asked her, starting the conversation to make her comfortable.
"It was good." She mumbled, she shifted close to him and rested her head on his chest while he wrapped his arm around her waist.
"Hope bua dadi and her grand son, shivam didn't troubled you?"
"They didn't, but i don't like that guy" Taani told him after a moment of hesitation. She was hesitate to talk to him about shivam. What if he didn't trust her? After all, shivam is his cousin.
"Matlab? Did he said something to you?" Rey asked her.
"He didn't do anything, but the way he stares, its creepy." Taani told him, remembering the way he was staring the dinner.
Rey felt a sudden wave of anger and possessiveness hit him, causing him to tighten his hold around her. He knew shivam to be a womanizer, and there is no way in hell, he would allow anyone having bad eyes on his wife.
"Don't worry, I will handle it." He mumbled, placing a soft peck on her head. He was grateful that she share it with him.
"Its getting late, we should sleep now. Tomorrow, I have to take rihaan to hospital for vaccination." Taani told him, Rey hummed in response.
He pulled the covers on and switched off the lights. Soon enough, both slipped into sweet slumber in each others arms..
