Hello friends I m back with another update.
Part 5
Doctor assured Mr and Mrs iyer and went to his cabin . Raman was feeling guilty for his harsh words to ishita , no one knows it but he knows very well about ishita as he has seen her state on that day when he refused her proposal and was very sure that she has taken this step because of him only .
He was lost in his thoughts and his trance was broken with the conversation of her parents .
Mrs iyer - I don't know viswa ,I want my daughter back .
Mr iyer - Doctor is trying their level best .
Mrs iyer - she was so happy then suddenly why she took this step .
Mr iyer - I too don't know .
Raman walked to them ,he pressed Mr iyer's shoulder and spoke " don't worry sir everything will be ok ."
Mr iyer ( crying )- how raman ,doctor told that her body is not responding to their medication .
R- sir you be calm I m going to talk to doctor again .
Mr iyer - ok.
Raman went to doctor and asked again about ishitas condition .Doctor told same thing that ishitas body is not responding to the medicines as it seems that she had given all the hope to live .
R- Doc ,can I meet her for once .
Doctor nodded and Raman entered the ICU where ishita was .He saw her and cursed himself for being the reason for her bad state. He saw many machines and wires were attached to her body but nothing is showing some positive response .Raman sat beside ishita ,held her hand and spoke " I m sorry ishita ,I know you took such a drastic step because of me . ishita I m sorry for being harsh to you ,please get well soon .Why did you take this step at least you should have thought about your parents ."
Listening to him she responded a bit ,the nurse who was there told him to talk more to her .Raman continued " and I m ready to marry you ,but for that you have to be ok asap . "
Raman talked some more and saw her condition was a bit ok .Nurse called the doctor ,he came and checked ishita .He was happy that now her body is responding .He thanked Raman ,he shook hands with doc and went out to give this news to her parents.
The moment raman came out from ICU the iyers ran to him .
Mr iyer - how is she .
R- sir ,doctor told that her body has started responding ,soon she will be ok .
They got a bit relaxed and started waiting for good news that ishita has gained conscious.They all say in the bench near by and started waiting ,soon senior bhallas also joined them .After some hours a nurse came and asked " is there anyone named Raman ".
Raman got up from his place and spoke concerned " what happened sister I m Raman ".
N - the patient has gained her conscious and she wants to meet you at first .
Raman saw Mr and mrs iyers ,they nodded and gave him.permission to meet ishita . Raman entered and saw ishita was looking at the door as if waiting for him .After she saw him ,she tried to got up when Raman held her and spoke "be like that I m coming na ."
I( with teary eyes )- why did you all save me . you don't wanted to marry me and I can't live without you so it was better that I should die .
R- I m so sorry ishita for my words actually i was angry with ma and I scolded you .
I- Raman I tried to live without you but cannot ,please marry me .
R- ok ,I m ready for this marriage but I have a request to you .
I- bolo .
R- ishita ,I need some time .
I- I didn't get you .
R- ishita I m not totally ready for this marriage ,so I will not be able to fulfill all your needs as a husband .I think you are getting me .
I- I m getting you very well raman ,I can wait for you as much as you want only you be mine .
R- ok then get well soon ,I will inform our parents .
Raman came out from ICU and informed everything to their parents .Soon all of them went to meet ishita .Amma and appa were so happy to see their daughter ok .Toshiji and bhallaji were are happy to see ishita well . ishita recovered fast and was been discharged.she came back to her house and started preparing for her marriage .she was super happy ,she got herself busy in shopping clothes ,jewellery and other necessary things for herself .
Amma sometimes scolds her that she has just returned from hospital but ishita was nowhere to listen .On the other hands Raman has left all the preparations on his parents as he was least interested in marriage but he never said this to anyone .
Soon the date of marriage has come .Mr iyer has invited almost everybody ,it was a huge function . Raman entered the hall with his family and barat .He was looking most handsome groom in his golden orange sherwani with mehroon embroidery. His hairs were nicely gelled and was looking dashing in his clean shaven look but his dimples were missing as he was not so happy with this marriage .Though nobody has forced him instead he was marrying ishita out of pity ,as he is a good person and always think of other .He will not be able to live peacefully after knowing that a girl loves him somuch that she is ready to give her life for him ,so he had decided to marry her thinking he will start liking her gradually and after some time they will lead a happy life as many people live who does arrange marriage .
Raman was sitting in mandap waiting for ishita and panditji was chanting holy mantras of marriage .After a while ishita was called ,she was looking devine in her orange kanjivaram saree with mehroon and green border ,she was fully covered with gold jewellery ,her hairs were nicely tied in a bun ,decorated with white flower strings ,her dark kohl and light makeup was glorifying her beauty .For once Raman was also lost in her along with all the people present there .
Ishita came and sat beside her appa ,soon the rituals of marriage started first kanyadan,then ishra took pheras ,then Raman put sindoor in her partition and tied mangalsutra around her neck .Panditji declared ishra as husband and wife ,they took blessings from their elders .After everything was done ,all returned to their house .
Bhalla house was beautifully decorated like a bride as was ishra room .it was decorated with white and red flowers and scented candles ,Raman's cousines and simmi teases ishita for a while and then left her alone I'm the room .ishita was sitting in middle of bed with veil on her face .Raman entered the room and spoke looking to ishita " ishita I told you earlier ,I want some time to adjust in this marriage ,so please there is no need of all this .you please go and change in something comfortable .
Ishita nodded ,opened her veil and went to change with teary eyes which Raman didn't noticed.Soon she came out after changing , Raman took his pillow and went to couch .
I- where are you going Raman .
R- I told you na ,I want some times .
I- I know but where are you going.
R- I m going to sleep in couch you can sleep comfortably in bed .
I- but why ,I know you want time but it doesn't mean that we cannot share a bed . Raman please come and sleep here .
R- ishita I m good here .
I- nope you will not be comfortable ,if you want I can sleep there .
R- no no ,I will sleep here only .
I- Raman please ,if you will sleep there I will not feel good .
After some more conversation Raman agreed to sleep with ishita on bed but in the farthest corner .
Days passed Raman made himself more busy in work while ishita was so happy to get a family where everybody is pampering her. Toshiji and bhallaji took care of her as their daughter while simmi was like sister to her. But ishra relations was there itself Raman goes office before ishita woke and he came back to house when she sleeps .Till some days ishita liked the pampering and care of family but after that she started missing Raman .she wanted to live life with him but here she is living with his family not him .
