Part 4
Ishita was resting in her room while her parents were very much worried for their daughter for the be first time .
Mr iyer called Raman but he PA informed that he has gone out of town for town and will return tomorrow.Mr iyer wanted to all to Raman first before taking another step but he was unreachable .Appa thought to wait for Raman till he came back. He went went to office but came back early as he was fell worried about ishita's health .The moment her entered ishitas room to check her ,she asked with a hope ful eyes " appa did you meet raman ,had you told him that I m dying to meet him ,usne kaha na woh aayega ,bola na usne appa ".
Appa was silent as he hadn't talk to raman yet ,witnessing his silence ishita asked again.
I- why are you silent appa ,you talked to him ba ,what did he told .is he angry from me ,if yes then I will say sorry to him .
Apoa cried seeing his daughter in such a vulnerable condition ,at first he was thinking to talk to Raman first but he become lil selfish looking to ishita condition .He cupped face and spoke " ishu kanna ,I tried to talk to raman ,but he was busy in meeting that's why I cannot ."
I( cupped appa face and make him look her)- appa look at me ,I your only daughter ,had I ever demanded anything from you ,nahi na . you always go to your business tours leaving my birthday parties ,had I ever complained you nahi na ,you told me to do MBA from London ,Maine kiya na .I had shown and proved that I m a good daughter ,now its your turn to prove yourself a good appa . I don't know how but I want raman that's it. He is my wish ,my desire ,my life I don't know how but you have to fulfill my this wish appa .
Appa was sad as well as feeling helpless listening to his daughter .He patted her cheek and said " ok kanna you rest ,I will do something ".
Saying so he went out from ishitas room and sat in the couch dejectedly .Amma came,sat beside him and asked " what are you thinking viswa ".
V- madhu I m going to talk to Raman's parent .
M- but you told that you will talk to raman first .
V- yeah I told that ,but I can't see ushu like this also .My poor daughter was pleading and begging to me for raman ,I have to fulfill this wish of her .
M- then what are you thinking viswa ,why this hesitation.
V- Raman's father had worked with us ,he was very good employee of us ,then raman is working for us .I m just wondering that if I went and asked for our kids marriage stating ishitas condition ,won't they think that I m taking advantage of them .
M- why would they think like this viswa ,what's wrin with our daughter ,only that she loves Raman .
V- you didn't get me madhu ,see as they have been working for us from last many years ,they will happily agree for the marriage but I m worried about ishita's future what if Raman doesn't like ishu.
M- viswa ,have you gone mad ,why raman will not like ishita ,she is so beautiful ,well educated ,having good manners and moreover she loves raman .Even if he want he can't ever dislike ishu .Now go viswa before she woke and ask again .
Saying so amma almost pushed Mr iyer out of the house .Soon he was driving towards bhalla house .After a drive of about half an hour Mr iyer reach bhalla house .He was warmly welcomed by Raman's Parents .They were over wehlmed to see Mr iyer on their house .Mr bhalla asked the reason of his visit, after talking of their whereabouts Mr iyer at last spoke that he has come with ishitas alliance for Raman .At first bhallas couldn't believe that actually Mr iyer is offering his daughters hand for Raman but when he told that ishita loves Raman and wanted to marry Raman they happily accepted his proposal ,though Mr iyer told that bhallas can take time and can answer him after consulting with Raman but Toshiji told that she knows her son very well ,he will never go against their decision .So Mr iyer happily went from there to give this good news to his family .
After sometimes Raman came from office and asked for water and a cup of tea .Toshiji brought it and passed it yo him with wide smile .when he was having his tea toshiji spoke " Raman puttar today Mr bhalla has come ".
R- ( surprised)- why did he came here .
T- actually puttar he has cone with alliance if their only daughter ishita .
R( bit uncomfortable)- and what did you say .
T- what should we say we agreed happily .
R( angrily)- why did you agree, you should have waited for me or at least talked to me .
T- what's the need Raman, ishita is a good girl ,beautiful and educate .why should we deny .Moreover I had noticed you people look heavenly together .
R- but ma ,what was so hurry ,you should had waited for me .
T- no Raman ,I don't want to wait as I like ishita very much .she is a good girl moreover he is your and your fathers employer ,how can we deny him.puttar try to understand ,just think we are middle class people and they are so high ,if he can come and ask for her daughters marriage to you how can we deny .Raman we don't have any reason to deny .
Raman didn't say anything but angrily walked to his room .
On the other hand Mr iyer entered the house with a dull face .Mrs iyer was waiting for him ,appa called ishita also ,she came down and. aksed almost running to him " appa you went to Raman's house ,what did they say ."
A- I m so sorry kanba but they denied they told that raman don't like you .
Ishita didn't say anything but turned and started walking to her room dejectedly with teary eyes .She was going with haavey heart when she listened " no body had dare to deny ishita iyer".
Ishita turned and questioned appa with teary eyes ,he nodded in affirmation .Ishita ran and hugged him tight and spoke crying " thankyou so much apoa ,I love u ,I love u ,I love you too much .thankyou somuch appa ,now I will not demand anything for you. I wanted Raman and you gave me him thankyou somuch appa ".
Saying so ishita walked to her room happily while Mr iyer turned to Mrs iyer and asked
" why madhu ,why you are looking so tense ."
M- viswa I m worried about ishita ,she will be happy na ,I fear she don't suffer a heart broke .
Mr iyer held madhviji hands and spoke " madhu we are not spared with any other option .we have to do it as I don't want to bear loss of my only child ."
Saying so his eyes got teary .Raman was walking to and pro in his room to broke this marriage .Atfirst he called ishita ,she picked the call and started talking happily when Raman shouted on her and spoke angrily
" well played ishita iyer ,on one hand you told me to get lost from your sight and on the other hand you are sending your father with your marraige alliance " saying so he hung up the call before listening to her .
Though in anger he scolded ishita but inside he was not feeling good .He thought something and came out of his room and annoced walking towards the main door " Ma I m going to iyers ".
Before they speak something he was out from the house .Soon he reached to iyer mansion ,he entered the hall in tension only to welcomed with wide smiles by Mr and Mrs iyer . Raman out of his nature became calm and greeted them well .They talked for a while then raman spoke" sir I want to talk to ishita".
Amma and appa happily showed him the way to ishitas room but before he walked towards her room ,her care taker came running out from the room panting hard .she spoke in broken language " ishu mam ...blood...WO ..behosh ..hai.." She can not spoke properly due to fear .
All ran to ishitas room only to found her laying senseless in bed and blood was oozing from her wrist ,they ran to her and found she has cut her nerve .iyers were hell horrified witnessing the scenc while Raman picked ishita in his arms and ran to hospital .Soon they reached hospital and her teartment started .After about twenty minutes doctor came out of the room and announced " Mr iyer we are facing great difficulty in saving her life as ,her body is not responding to our medication moreover she us very weak and had a heavy blood loss ,I m very sorry Mr iyer ,its too difficult for us .but you people don't leave faith on god ,you pray for some miracle while we are trying our level best to save her .
