Why is Khushi so weak? I don't think Khushi is weak, I think she is pretty strong in this story and would assert when the time comes, although some of the circumstances would be real extreme that's when she would give in to his blackmail. I mean why does she give in to Arnav so much in spite of him being a jerk ..If he was total jerk to her she would not have given to his demands...but he does go soft and very charming and caring...look how he took her to temple..yah whatever happened afterwards was not entirely his fault.Hes a hypocrite considering the fact the amount of sexual encounters he has had and he's all orthodox when it comes to her.. Ummm! Yes he had been sexually active...I don't want to generalize anything, but it does happen quite often. He himself is pretty upset at his own thinking regarding Khushi...he does want to be liberal in his thinking...but fails where Khushi is concerned...He did mention that her previous girlfriends having lovers before he was never an issue...but it is Khushi being with somebody else hurts him and he is not very proud of that feeling...But herhaving previous lovers is not going to diminsh his love or want for her.
The fact that it bothers him that she's not innocent is strange when he doesn't stop to think about himself as he's nothing close to that ..No, I think what bothered him was that Khushi was into kinky or promiscous sex...and that also when she was so young...I think I am soon going to explain it in detail...before next part...almost everybody is having this misconception...I think I have written the part poorly if I was not able to convey Arnav;s thinking in proper manner... The way he treats her and the things he says to her are way too much even if she loves him above and beyond everything ...I wonder how he will make up for all the taunts , rude insults he's hurling her way when he knows the real story This Shyam is down right creepy !!!
Also , why is Khushi so forgiving towards Arnav? She loves him .. That's a given but isn't he crossing lines every time? You are going to see him cross the line with her and then yes Khushi would hate him...till now he has not crossed any line...except being rude and then going all passionate on her. And then one time he's borderly good to her and she's all happy and smiling and inviting ..I m desperately waiting to see how shyam's games will come out and how and if Arnav will protect Khushi .. Or further demean her .. I re read all the chapters at one go .. So my comment might not be just for this update

.. Your story telling is amazing .. I feel for fictional characters as if they are real .. This story has one of the Dark Arnavs and weak Khushi ( I feel it in spite of her retorts )..interesting to see this equation ..Well written story .. Thx for the pm . 😊

Arnav is confusing Khushi with his hot and cold behaviour. One time he is hurting her with his words without thinking how much pain they are causing Khushi and the other he thinks however was her past life is he will make sure she will be his no matter what and apologize to her for his behaviour. Absolutely right...At this point of their life he doesn't care what she did in past...he just wants her at any cost...Yess he is confusing her...with hot and cold behavior. Because he himself has not reconciled to his feelings yet.

Atleast Arnav realised he is hurting Khushi and wanted to apologize and make it up to her. Not wanting to face Arnav poor Khushi decided to go to temple on foot. As soon as he saw Khushi, he wanted to know where is she going and help her to get to her destination. Even though Arnav doesn't believe in god and inspite of living in that area, it is surprising that Arnav doesn't knew that there is a temple and thought Khushi was just lieing about it. Poor Khushi telling Arnav that she knew he will come looking for her got her into trouble and it made it worse when she mentioned about Shyam and had to walk back home because of Arnav's anger. You know that would be Arnav's problem throughout...doubting her...He would suffer and make her suffer because of that...But he would love her nonetheless...although what good is that torture...God only knows...They would come closer after drifting apart.

Loved Tanu's parents. They are sweet to Khushi and happy for she being their daughter's friend who is true and genuine and she is back into their life even after five years. Rachel knows Arnav in and out and wanted to know cause of his uneasiness. Side characters in this story are lovable...

Though Tanu being a good friend and thinking Shyam is a nice guy, and wanted Khushi to have a romantic life with her fiance without knowing Khushi's dilema. Now entry of Shyam is going to make Khushi suffer more. Arnav came home hoping that he can apologize to Khushi and make it upto her for his rude behaviour but everything went to drain as soon as he saw Shyam holding Khushi to himself showing how much he loves her and misses her. How low Shyam can stoop showing how much he is missing Khushi and blaming her that she asked for bigger diamond. Arnav found out how fake Shyam is. Not even for a second Shyam hesitated in pushing Khushi towards Arnav when he said he wanted to speak to her. All he thinks he can fool Arnav and get him in his words and make him to what he wants but he doesn't understand Arnav is not a fool to dance to his tunes and will not fall into his trap whatever he tries. Even after trying to gather all the info about Arnav before coming to banglore, how much fool he can be thinking that it is easy to make Arnav do whatever he wants. Shyam is basically a real foolish character in this story...He didn't have much role here...he would come for sometime...later in story...and try to create trouble...but now it is his end here...

Arnav tried to apologize to Khushi genuinely without hurting her, Khushi to gave in to Arnav and allowed him to kiss her. Poor girl though she is hurting because of Arnav, one soft word from him she is bending and agreeing to him without thinking anything else. Khushi is so longing for true love from Arnav though right now Arnav just wanted her by his side and he doesn't like Khushi being with anyone else other than him. Hope Khushi lets Arnav know the reason behind her engagement and he believes her atleast for this once and help her to come out of her situation she is currently in. For Khushi it is her love for him that is driving her...no matter how much he hurts her...as soon as he say a soft word she goes mush.

Shyam is showing his true colors and going behind Kelly trying to impress her by badmouthing Khushi. When Khushi is nice to everyone wondering why Kelly doesn't like and agree to Shyam when he said how she tried to seduce him and he had to get engage with her due to family pressure. Atleast Arnav saw them together, he is going to use it to his advantage to get Khushi in his life and also happy that the girl beside Shyam is not Khushi. How low Kelly can stoop knowing Shyam is engaged though she doesn't know what Khushi and Shyam share and wanted to sleep with Shyam and Shyam is very much eager for it. Yah Shyam's that lie won't sit well for Khushi...Ahhh!

With purposeful strides Arnav walked into his study and plugged in the phone to charge. He really wanted to rush outside again to check if Khushi was back. He must have missed out while talking to Rachel and Kevin, when she had gone inside. But before he went back and joined the party, he needed to call his father, as it was his two missed calls which had showed up on his cell phone just now. As he picked up the phone on his table to dial, he stopped as soon as he heard a sweet laughter on the other side..." Khushi?" He mused to himself, for that laughter could be of nobody else. His eyes softened and an endearing smile came up to lit up his face, as he glanced at the receiver and shook his head. He was enchanted for sure by this woman, he confessed to himself and was about to put the phone down when he heard his name being said and curiosity made him to stop and listen to that conversation.

He knew that most of the time people lie in front of other person when they are face to face but the thing which they say behind their back is always true. Maybe that's what prompted him to listen, it was very important to him to know what Khushi thought about him behind his back.

Although he was well aware, what he was doing was total invasion of privacy something which he was total against, but because the conversation was done in his context then maybe, maybe he had the right to hear what was being said. Or that's what he told himself as he held the receiver and listened.

And he listened in stunned silence about what was being said. He doesn't remember when he lost his power to stand, as his legs give away and he sat down on the chair with a thump but held fast on the receiver. There came a point when he couldn't hear the sound anymore as his heart was pounding so fast. It must be at this point when he replaced the receiver and remained seated in absolute silence.

Thinking, pondering, agonizing.

So much misunderstanding. So much pain. He felt a crushing pain in chest as emotions after emotions washed over him. As he passed his hand on face, he was stunned to notice wetness on his cheek.

He continue to sit there, feeling utterly defeated for he rarely ever cried.
