Epilogue

New York:

It was 5 years since Asad n Zoya r married. They r blessed wid 2 angels- 4 year old daughter Zara n 2 year old son Azaan. D lovely family of 4 have come to New York for a month vacation. They r staying in d house where Farooquis used to live.

Ayaan n Humeira got married 3 years ago n have 1 year old daughter Sania. Ayaan joined Rashid's company after completing his MBA while Humeira is a writer in a leading newspaper after doing her Mass Communications. Najma met n fell in love wid a guy named Rehan Mallik 2 years ago in a hospital where both r doctors. They married 6 months after meeting each other. They have a 3 month old daughter Haya. Nikhat joined a dance academy working as a dance teacher. Nuzhat works as a beautician.

Asad n Zoya had a very blissful marriage. Both had a great time wid each other n their angel Zara. 2 years after Zara's birth, they were blessed wid another angel named Azaan. Their family was finally complete. Both were so happy wid their adorable kids.

It has been a week since they came to New York. They came to New York earlier some more times but they did not stayed for more than a week but dis time, they planned to have a month vacation wid their small family in Zoya's birth place.

It was cold n snowing in New York. Asad n Zoya were sitting by d fire-place one evening while d kids were sleeping in their room. Zoya brought coffee for both of them. They were chatting while relaxing on a mat in front of fire-place to warm themselves n sip their coffee. They wud sometimes sit here like dis to feel warm n cosy.

"I am missing everyone so much," said Zoya.

"Me too but we have come here for vacation," said Asad.

"I know, we have 3 more weeks," said Zoya.

"Its such a beautiful weather," said Asad.

"Yaa but ur kids makes fuss to wear warm clothes," said Zoya.

"Its ur kids too," said Asad.

"But they r fussy like u. Ammi said dat u used to make so fuss to wear sweater n cap during winters," teased Zoya.

"Its not like dis," said Asad feeling embarrassed.

"Its like dis only," teased Zoya wid a smile.

"I hate u," said Asad wid a pout.

"I love u too," said Zoya wid a smile.

He made a face while Zoya just chuckled at him.

"Wats d plan for 2mrw?" asked Zoya.

"Will take kids to Disneyland," replied Asad.

"Dats so amazing," said Zoya happily.

Asad smiled at her.

"Before we had kids, we were going thru so many bad days. D people responsible for our miseries r no more," said Zoya.

"We must not think of dat," said Asad.

"Sumtyms we can't forget our past," said Zoya.

"But we need to stop thinking abt dat n live our life happily," said Asad.

Gaffur, Razia n Shirin were hanged to death 6 months ago for all their crimes. They had committed several murders apart 4m Zainab for their benefits or to get rid of someone cumn in their way. Qureshis were given life imprisonment as they committed some more crimes so they r still rotting in jail. Akram ran away 4m jail few months after Zara was born. He tried to kill some policemen who were stopping him but died after slipping off a cliff. As for Tanveer, she tried to kill her new born baby boy as it was of no use to her but was saved by d policewomen. D baby was sent to a good orphanage. Tanveer was sent to a mental hospital as she became mad. Tanveer is still in a mental hospital.

"I still thank Allah for sending u in our lives. U made me realize my mistakes n showed us d true face of a woman who wanted to bring both Khan family on streets," said Asad.

"Its u who came to know abt Tanveer 1st," said Zoya.

"Its true but cuz of u standing up for ur self-respect n me realizing my mistakes I began to use mind properly otherwise our marriage wud have gone much worse eventually resulting in bitter divorce as I wud have bcum more jerk day be day. Then all my family members wud have hated me like anything leaving me alone. Tanveer n Qureshis wud have been succeeded in all their plans n our family wud have been ruined," said Asad.

"It was good dat u decided to change for d better," said Zoya.

"I felt very better after changing myself," said Asad, "I will teach our kids not to be like I was earlier as it will only hurt people. U were so different. U came to take revenge on ur family for ruining ur childhood but u did not developed unnecessary hatred for anyone."

"Cuz its stupid to hate someone widout any proper reason," said Zoya.

"I can't believe we have passed 5 years of marriage," said Asad wid a smile.

"And have 2 lovely kids," said Zoya wid a smile.

"I wish our kids don't have painful life like we had in our childhood," said Asad.

"Me too wish d same," said Zoya.

Just then, Zara n Azaan came running to them.

"Ammi, abbu," said Zara n Azaan wid a smile.

AsYa lovingly kissed their kids.

"U both woke up," said Zoya wid a smile.

She pulled Azaan in her lap while Asad pulled Zara in his lap.

"Ammi, I want chocolate cake wid chocolate milk-shake," said Azaan.

"Me too," said Zara.

"Okay, I will be back in some time," said Zoya.

She made Azaan sit on Asad's lap n went in d kitchen.

"Abbu, I want a new princess dress," said Zara.

"Sure, my baby. Which colour?" asked Asad.

"Orange," replied Zara.

"I want a new jeans jacket," said Azaan.

"Sure, my baby," said Asad.

"Wat abt buying some warm clothes also for both of u?" asked Zoya who was standing wid a tray of chocolate cake n 4 glasses of chocolate milk-shake.

Zoya kept d tray on d mat n sat down.

"No, we don't want any more sweater, caps, gloves n other warm clothes," said Zara.

"We luk like fat bears in them," said Azaan.

"But its necessary as u both will get cold if u don't wear them," said Zoya.

"Whatever," said Zara n Azaan wid pout on their faces making AsYa smile at them.

"Okay, now lets eat," said Asad.

Zoya tuk Zara in her lap.

"Azaan, ur hair has grown too much," said Asad.

"I want to do d hairstyle of Ayaan chachu," said Azaan(RS is Ayaan if anyone forgot).

"Ohhh, bachpan se hi hero," said Asad wid a smile.

"Bachpan se nahi paida hote hi hero hu main," said Azaan pulling his collars in style.

"Hero nahi zero hai tu," teased Zara.

"Chup chudail," said Azaan annoyingly.

"Don't call me chudail hai," said Zara annoyingly.

"U started it by calling me zero," said Azaan annoyingly.

"Stop it both of u," said Zoya.

Zara n Azaan had a very lovely n cute bond but they used to fight sometimes.

"Zara, why u called Azaan zero?" asked Asad.

"Main to mazaak kar rahi thi, abbu," replied Zara.

"Main bhi mazaak kar raha tha," said Azaan.

"Say sorry to each other," said Asad wid a smile.

"Sorry Azaan," said Zara.

"Sorry Zara aapi," said Azaan.

Zara n Zaan smiled at each other making AsYa smile at them.

"We want to play outside in d snow," said Azaan.

"Not 2day as its too cold outside. If its normal then u can play," said Asad.

"Okay," said Azaan.

They chatted for some more time before going out for shopping. They shopped for many eatable things n several clothes for themselves. They then had a dinner at a good hotel.

After putting d kids to sleep, AsYa went to their room. They were not in mood of sleeping so early. Asad increased d speed of d heater n turned to Zoya.

"I think u too don't want to sleep so soon," said Asad wid a smile.

"Yaa, I want us to make each other awake for a long time," said Zoya wid a smile.

"So be it," said Asad wid a smile n removed Zoya's jacket.

They proceeded to make passionate love before sleeping in each other's arms.

Next morning, Asad woke up 1^st n saw his beautiful wife still sleeping peacefully. He smiled n kissed her cheek. He then brushed her hair off her eyes n caressed her forehead before kissing her there. He caressed her hair softly. She opened her eyes.

"Good morning," said Asad wid a smile.

"Good morning," said Zoya wid a smile.

"We have to go Disneyland," said Asad.

"We need to get ready n wake up d kids for breakfast," said Zoya.

D family sat for breakfast.

"I want ice-cream," said Zara.

"No baby, its not good to have ice-cream in d morning in winter," said Zoya.

"Then wen can I have?" asked Zara,

"In d afternoon wen d temperature will rise a bit," replied Zoya.

"I am missing Alisha aapi n Zain bhaijaan n also Sania n Haya," said Azaan.

"Next time, we will come here wid d whole family," said Asad wid a smile.

"Okay," said Azaan wid a smile.

After breakfast, they went to Disneyland. They had a great fun there. D children enjoyed a lot. They returned at night exhausted but very happy.

Asad, Zoya, Zara n Azaan enjoyed a lot in New York visiting many places like garden, museum, zoo, park, circus, water-part, amusement part n so on.

A week later, d kids were allowed to play in d snow in d evening as d weather was okay. Zara n Azaan were making a snowman in their garden wid their parents helping them.

"Its so fun," said Zoya wid a smile.

"Yaa, its really very fun to play wid kids," said Asad wid a smile.

"Its done," said Zara wid a smile.

"Its so beautiful," said Azaan wid a smile.

"Lets play now," said Zara excitedly.

"Yaa," said Azaan happily.

Zara n Azaan started throwing snow balls at each other having a lot of fun. While watching their kids playing, Zoya tuk a handful of snow n threw at Asad before running 4m him.

"Zoya wait," said Asad running after her wid a handful of snow.

He threw d snow at her. Zoya tuk another handful of snow n threw it at him n kept on running 4m him while laughing. Asad soon caught her n pinned her to d floor.

"Having so much fun ha. Let me have my fun," said Asad n tuk a handful of snow.

"Asad no," said Zoya scared as she knew wat he was up to.

"U asked for it," said Asad wid a smirk as he rubbed d snow all over her face n laughed.

"Ahhh, its so cold," said Zoya n pushed him off her.

She tuk a handful of snow n rubbed over his face n laughed. They were lost in their laughing wen they heard their kids calling them standing near d snowman they made.

"Ammi, abbu, lets take a selfie wid dis snowman," said Zara.

"Coming," said AsYa 2gthr.

AsYa went to their kids n stood behind d snowman. Asad tuk out his cell phone n tuk a selfie of them wid d snowman. After dat, d family continued playing happily in d snow.

Dis is d story of Asad n Zoya on how their life has come to dis stage where they r loving n responsible parents to their adorable n beautiful kids Zara n Azaan. Their initial hatred for each other turned into true love after a lot of mistakes n redemption 4m Asad who decide to change himself for d better which is d reason of them being truly in love wid each other. Their life had some problems in d past which wud have broken them apart but they overcame it 2gthr wid their strong n true love for each other. Asad n Zoya who were expected to be torn broken apart earlier r now inseparable n unbreakable.

A/N: So, this is the epilogue of this story? How was it? This story was my first english language story as my earlier stories were written in hindi. This story was about a woman's self-respect and how she wants to live life in her own way without anyone dominating and oppressing her along with always hurting and humiliating her. Its also about how a man who changes himself on realizing that he can never be happy with his regressive attitude which will only hurt everyone and make everyone hate him. Many men even are unforgiveable as they go to the extent of slapping and manhandling but fortunately Asad was not a jerk to that extent so he could be forgiven if he truly wanted to realize his mistakes and change. The idea to write such a story came in my mind 2 years ago as I was very tired and frustrated with Asad always being a jerk and Zoya always forgiving him letting him take her for granted. A self-respecting woman will never act like how Zoya in the show especially being a modern NRI from New York. This story was started with on what may have happened if Asad n Zoya were married much earlier in the show against their wishes. Thanks to everyone who loved this story and supported throughout this entire story😊.
