Oblivious of the time, the surroundings and situation, Arnav and Khushi stood lost in each others eyes. Someone's eyes in which the warmth of love had returned much to the ecstasy of the one looking into them with love clouded by deep cold pain, which seemed to melt down by the warmth of his love as tears.

As the first drop of tear touched her just below her lashes, she turned conscious to the situation they were in and the surroundings of them. She couldn't let him win her over so easily but what could she do when his words jeopardized every single barrier she built around her heart in a failed attempt of making it impenetrable to him.

She turned around in darnedest attempt to adumbrate her tears from his intense eyes and before she could utter a word to ask him out, she could feel him drawing close to her. Her intransigent heart had yet again began pumping blood, flushing her into his favorite color as she wondered why. Why the person who had hurt her and accused her, still had so much of effect on her that her heart went out for him.

Arnav dandled the arms as delicate as her heart his way up, starting from the wrists as he dipped down to place warm butterfly kisses of amorousness over her shoulder. Just as he reached her forearms, he turned her over gently as he looked down on her passionately.

The love of his life was in his arms, trembling in his love as he knew her heart craved him. The very thought of it was so overwhelming that the tears which were about to reach the ground as he lay his eyes on her for the first time this morning were finally wetting his cheeks.

Khushi lost herself in the moment of passion as kisses rained down on her shoulder following the tears kissing the ground after rolling down her flushed cheeks.

Arnav gently turned her around to place a firm yet gentle kiss at her partition while a few tears dropped from his own eyes to mingle with hers. Every part of their soul was one and was only awaiting the permission of the hearts to let go of the barrier.

The strings of their hearts pronouncing the love they beheld were getting entangled with each other in a bond more profound than words could manage to express. Their staggered breaths, throbbing temples and closed eyes were just a part of the proofs of the effect they still had on each other.

The reason of their unconditional love was still not known and then did they realize the reason why it was called as unconditional. A love beyond reasons, beyond logic and beyond the control it was. Unconditional and unfathomable it was.

Arnav held Khushi's face in between his recherche fingers as he awaited the moment where their lips would meet yet again in an eccentric kiss of celebration of their passion. But before the imagination turned into patent truth, he found Khushi lying in his arms, lifeless with extremely slow and steady breaths.

" KHUSHI!!"

A scream left his lips even without a prior notice. He immediately lifted her off feet and took her to the couch which lay across the cabin, while looking at her in the most worried way.

Her condition perplexed him and made him anxious about her health. And suddenly it struck him, if she was pregnant. Pregnant as a result of the happenings of the night for which he accused her. Accused her of seducing him into it. And it was something for which he would be never be able to forgive himself.

He placed her on the couch and rested her head on a pillow on the couch. He paced around the room with anxiety and concern gripping him and turning him hostile to logic. He grabbed the glass of water on her table to sprinkle water as he had often seen in movies hoping that it would help her regain her consciousness and it did, much to Arnav's relief who sent prayers to the god for making her regain consciousness.

Khushi supported her head as she tried to open her scrunched eyes and tried to make herself sit rather than lie down in the uncomfortable position as couch was too short for her. The first sight which she perceived was that of Arnav's, which made her realize the situation she had put herself into and the situation in which she had lost her senses.

" Khushi, are you alright? Do you need anything?" questioned Arnav in a tone hushed with concern and worry.

Khushu chose to ignore his question as she didn't want to be in a compromising position once again, at least till she was in a quandary whether to forgive him by listening to her heart or not by listening to her mind. Khushi tried rising up from her seat when Arnav's question made her freeze in her place,

" Are you pregnant Khushi?"

" WHAT!?! NO! Of course NO!" Khushi took no time to answer his question while Arnav still looked at her apprehensively while answering,

" I mean you lost consciousness suddenly which is a symptom right? And how are you so sure that you aren't Khushi? You had a test?"

Khushi shot him a nervous look while color rose on her cheeks unable to think of an answer for his question which was justifiable.

" What do you mean how I am so sure? I just know it that I am not. It must be enough for you." Thinking that Khushi didn't want to even think of such a possibility, Arnav drew in a deep breath while moving close to her and speaking in a serious tone,

" Khushi, I understand that you are too hurt by me to think of this as a possibility but that night when we-"

" I am on my periods, dammit! There is no way I can be pregnant. Are you happy now?"

Khushi answered his question in one go without letting him remind her of that night where she herself broke every barrier she had placed for herself and every limit she had decided. Now it was for Arnav to decide, if he would break the barriers and win her love or respect them to leave her forever.
